Brad and Jason had been stepbrothers for several years and never much got along. They were too different. Brad was an all-star quarterback in college and Jason more reserved and brainy. When Brad comes home for the summer, Jason is not looking forward to his visit, but he realizes quickly that something about Brad has changed. He is being nice to him and though he’s suspicious, he finds himself going on a camping trip with him and a friend of Jason’s. Disaster strikes and Brad steps up to save his stepbrother, staying with him through his recovery. Jason finds himself falling for him and tries to keep it to himself. Jason can’t keep it in forever though and one slip exposes him. Instead of being upset though, Brad helps him with his needs and it leaves the two of them unsure where they stand. Will Brad be able to convince Jason that he really cares, or will Jason take off across the country to keep denying his feelings for his stepbrother?
Only 50 % of this is "The Bonding". This story had potential if the author actually focused and put an effort into this story. It was like reading in fast forward mode or on speed...
The Bonding is a good but short story. It could have been a great book if the characters were fleshed out a bit more and the story was longer. I think it's a sweet young romance story and give it four stars and recommend it to anyone reading this review.
2 stars. The story stared good and had hopes. Until it got towards what was the rapid end. Cause all of the sudden it seemed to be a rush to finish in bed ...
