Rate this book
A book which should be enjoyed by everyone who has had anything to do with the starting or the maintaining of a newspaper or a magazine, and which may be recommended very strongly to every one who has in mind the idea of starting a publication of any kind. It is the story of the attempt of four Bohemians, two writers and two artists, to establish a weekly paper, which in the book is known as The Whole Family. The four have knocked about a good deal in the literary life of New York, their daily work has brought them into contact with publishers and editors, and they have evolved a scheme for a weekly which they believe will result in popularity and financial success.

Four friends come up with a pie-in-the-sky scheme to start a newspaper that's going to net them millions ... but getting it going proves tougher than they predict. The reader can likely foretell what will happen just from the title, but it's a nice read anyhow, with a touch of romance.
