The reason I choose this book is simply because I lived a while in the WA outback. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who've been to Australia and specially in a remote area where the conflict between native and "white" Australians is strong and de facto the racism. I had some expectations: I know I would learn more about the aborigine culture and I wasn't disappointed. E.M. is giving us so more than expected and I'm grateful he took the tie to write and publish this book. The fact that he is also adding a summary of notes about some specific vocabulary or global information is helping any reader to have a better global view even if he never went to Australia. Quite dense and not easy to read due to lot of specific terms in the way Eddie Mittelette describes us his journey but really worth to spend time and read it until the end.
