Dangerous Angle

Rate this book
Tabitha thought she was ready for she prided herself on being a prepared and organized journalist. But when a story she was working on led her to show up unannounced at Connor’s house she wasn’t ready for the mess she walked into. She thought she had an angle for his story, but Connor was nothing like she expected. He wasn’t a shut-in kid; he was an angry, paranoid, and suspicious man. Yet he was funny, kind and trusted her with his secrets. Interviewing him made her want to get to know him better -- off the record. For the first time in her life lines were blurring; the passion she felt for him broke her main rule. Never mix business and it will only get you hurt.

Raising his little sister after the death of their parents had taught Connor to be careful. An unknown stalker that had followed them ever since had taught him to be suspicious. When Tabitha showed up at his home, he didn’t know what to think of her. She seemed helpful, honest, but not completely open. He knew she was hiding something but he couldn’t figure out her angle. When she was around he was too distracted to think straight, and that wasn’t good for him or his sister. He wasn’t ready to trust her enough to make her a part of their lives, no matter how sweetly she responded to his touches.

When violence followed Tabitha to Connor’s house it became clear to both of them.
It’s not paranoia if someone really is out to get you.

Who are the Veritas

Dangerous Angle is that story of Tabitha, Connor and his younger sister Catherine.
I was not sure about this book when I picked it up as I don't really read "romantic suspense" but the book description looked like it might be interesting so I gave it a shot. This is a well written story that had an intriguing story-line and nicely developed characters. However, for me I just could not get into it and it had to do with the "romantic suspense" genre of the book and not the author or writing. The story has mystery, suspense, drama and a whole lot of sizzling sex.
But in the end it was just not my type of book I am sorry to say. However, that does not stop me from giving it a good review, rating and also recommending it to other readers who like this genre more.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

When Catherine is hurt and Tabithia comes to her rescue, her brother is less than pleased. He wonders why Tabithia is in his house. When she saves his sister's leg from a severe cut, he has second thoughts though. Connor has protected Catherine since his parents were killed and is even more protective because he knows someone is stalking them. There's an obvious attraction between him and Tabithia but he is not sure he can trust her but Catherine does. Tabithia goes out of her way to find out who may be stalking them. This is a very good book. Filled with mystery and lots of sex scenes. I look forward to reading more books by Rebekah Jonesy. With this book, I felt I was actually there beside the characters.

Internet reporter, Tabitha, searches for the elusive Veritas and becomes involved in a real life family mystery. Dangerous Angle was an excellent story with well developed characters and twists that kept the novel interesting throughout.
