Wow. So emotional.

I am feeling so emotional after this one. I cried so many times, felt anger fear and most importantly the love of God. Seriously, I felt like knew Olivia and I wanted to help her. I know this is fiction but it hits close to too many real life stories. But I am reminded of God's love and grace and that no matter how lost we are God can find us.
May God speak to you all as he has me. Love, peace and blessings to y'all.

What a good read

This book is so moving, touching in so many ways. I cried in so many places while reading until sometime I just had to put it down. Somewhere out there is an Olivia and that is what saddens my heart, but somewhere there are also some Hoover's and one day I hope to be what they were in her life to some young ladies. Touching book, worth the read.

I almost stop reading half way through but, I'm glad I didn't. Poor Livvy went through so much at such a young age but, in the end it turned out be such an inspirational book. Was surprised by the ending.

This book was on the verge of a 3 star for me. The first half I sped through because I hate that most of this story was in narrator mode instead of a dialogue. The message, the overcome of tragedy, going through the struggle with God was a great turnaround. I like at the end it will have you questioning yourself about judging what you can’t understand.

Nicely written enjoyable read. My heart went out to Livvy & all she endured at such a young age. It was good she was able to finally connect with Obadiah. Storyline was well written. Highly recommended!

My heart aches for the trials and tribulations Olivia had to endure to find peace. Olivia suffered the lost of her only peace (Deek). Olivia had been forced to endured brutality after brutality and just when she thought she would receive love she endured more betrayal. Is there anyone that cares enough to save her from the despair? Is there anyone that wants her genuinely happy? Will she ever experience love without a cost?
