This was one of the most erotic and mind F-ing stories that I have ever read. This story literally started when they were casting a porno. The heat never much left the pages after that. There was A LOT of gruesome- savage- disgusting- put your tummy turning word here -past histories of childhood sexual abuse that formed a good chunk of the damaged people in this book. Hence the mind F-ing.....hey no one heals the same, so we all cope differently. There was quite a bit of BDSM in these erotic pages. It ended on a cliffhanger, but besides that I still really enjoyed the book.

Okay, first I will say thank you Lisa Michele for allowing me to read this book. Second I want to say how damn happy I was by reading it.... I couldn't stop reading it... Chapter after chapter I was consumed by what was going to happen next... The connection that Holly and Tristan had was beautiful.. And he loved her for her... I felt like I was watching it on a movie screen rather then reading this book... I would even get moist from the sex scenes alone... The way you wrote this story was so touching, that at times I wanted to cry along with the characters... So that being said I loved this book.... Great job and I can't wait to read your next book.. Her Truth.... Until next time....

I gave this four stars for the need for proofreading and editing.
This book is hot from the start! The first chapter starts with the main character creating a porno and just gets hotter once the lead female revels relationships that transcend sex. Lots of BDSM and eroticism. A cliffhanger that makes you long for book two!

Good book
I really thought this book was intriguing. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. It kept me on the edge of my seat all day. I was disappointed that it ended. I was expecting to keep reading. Can't wait for the other book to come out.

I LOVED this book! It's quick paced and steamy!!
It was full of heat and kept me on the edge of my seat! If you are a fan of 50 shades, crossfire or any thing like that your going to love this book!!
Holly comes from a rough childhood and you slowly see her backstory, and how her best friend Casey fits into her life, come more and more into light as the story unfolds.The complicated bond between holly and Casey is dependent and passionate. It's interesting to hear about how their past linked them together and how they have a "healing/enabling" system to deal with it together and yet neither are healed.
Tristan is a hot and sexy millionaire who becomes instantly drawn to Holly. Holly struggles to learn to give up control to anyone. Tristan guides her and is soft with her and earns her trust. After a lifetime of never feeling love for anyone but Casey she starts to realize the way she feels for Tristan is more then just "sex" and lust.
This book has a real 50 shades/crossfire feel. I love the damaged main character holly who isn't weak but dominates the relationships in her life so that she's never a victim again. I love how Tristan is a "reformed" dominate. He's still struggle with defiance but they learn together! I can't wait to read the next book!

Whoever reads this books should be aware of the intense eroticism throughout the story ... it begins on the first page and continues almost non-stop. This is a HOT, HOT book.
The characters are well written and interesting. I was especially intrigued with Casey and am not surprised to see that the next book in this series seems to focus on him.
The story moves quickly and I basically read the book in one sitting. I was somewhat uncomfortable with the disturbing theme of child sexual abuse but, since it was the motivator behind some the the characters' motivations, I suppose it was necessary to the story.
To be honest I would have given this book a 3 1/2 start rating if it had been available. The editing (typos and punctuation issues) should have been a little tighter.
All-in-all, this was a good book in this specific genre.

The ending was a total surprise and the top favorite, but the whole book always kept me on my toes on what would happen next... I am excited for hopefully the next novel to come out. There were many twists in the novel and the whole thing began to connect the past to the present. Overall 10starts if I could. Normally on books like these I can barely get past the first two chapters, but I kept on wanting to read.

This was a 5 star book, only gave 4 stars for some typos/proofreading/ editing errors. Its her first book so its to be expected. Hopefullly the next one will be edited better.
Good story with plot twists, good chemistry, well thought out plot.It is a cliffhanger so need to wait for second book.Really good story for debut book and cant wait for the next one.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is a very hot and steamy book but also has a great storyline. She has a past but he is willing to be understanding to her needs. She also has to adjust to how she feels about how things may change. The book ends on a cliffhanger so I'm anxious to read the second book. I am excited to read what happens with everyone next!!

I would give this 3.5 stars. This is a fast paced read about a vulnerable and hurt woman who uses sex as her escape. The book reads quickly and moves along at a great pace. The end was abrupt and I will need to read the second book to find one answer in particular....There is mystery, relationship woes, love, vulnerability, erotica, etc. Good read.

I must say although this book takes you into some savage sexual memories, BDSM situations, and some seriously twisting plot it is a fast read that you won't want to put down! I read this book in one sitting because it is truly a page turner. I wont do into details and spoil it for anyone, but I am anxiously awaiting the next book!

I really enjoyed the book! The story line hooks you from the beginning so you don't want to put it down. Finished it in a day. This is a very HOT erotic book. It does include past histories of child abuse and BDSM but it all adds to the story line. It is a cliffhanger so I can't wait for the second one....

Great premis and start. It hooked me from the beginning. Then, I started putting it down, picked it back up, put it back down, picked it up again... a couple of times. I think it was more the writing style, not the story.

This was a hard story to read with the child abuse subject. Strong individuals who have worked through their problems. Easy to follow along if you like your romance sexy and hot.
