Hi! I'm twenty five years old and movie star gorgeous. The camera added thirty plus years and a few wrinkles. Can't trust those cameras or mirrors either. Along with bathroom scales they are notorious liars! Honestly, I am the mother of three fantastic grown children who've made me laugh and given me more story ideas than I could ever write. My husband, Charles, is my strongest supporter and my best friend. He's even willing to eat fast food and help with the laundry while I finish one more chapter! Life is good and I am blessed!

Reading has been a passion since I was five years old and figured out those were words on book pages. As soon as my chubby little fingers found they could put words on a Big Chief tablet with a fat pencil, I was on my way. Writing joined reading in my list of passions. I will read anything from the back of the Cheerio's box to Faulkner and love every bit of it. In addition to reading I enjoy cooking, my family and the ocean. I love the Florida beaches. Listening to the ocean waves puts my writing brain into high gear.

I love writing romance because it's about emotions and relationships. Human nature hasn't changed a bit since Eve coveted the fruit in the Garden of Eden. Settings change. Plots change. Names change. Times change. But love is love and men and women have been falling in and out of it forever. Romance is about emotions: love, hate, anger, laughter... all of it. If I can make you laugh until your sides ache or grab a tissue then I've touched your emotions and accomplished what every writer sets out to do.

I got serious about writing when my third child was born and had her days and nights mixed up. I had to stay up all night anyway and it was very quiet so I invested in a spiral back notebook and sharpened a few pencils. The story that emerged has never sold but it's brought in enough rejection slips to put the Redwood Forest on the endangered list. In 1997 Kensington bought two books for their Precious Gems line. Two years and six books later the line died with only four of those books seeing publication. But by then Avalon had bought a book and another, and another. Ten years later the list has grown to thirty nine. Last year Sourcebooks bought the Lucky Series which is in the bookstores now. They've also bought The Honky Tonk Series which will debut with I LOVE THIS BAR in June and will be followed by HELL, YEAH, MY GIVE A DAMN'S BUSTED, and HONKY TONK CHRISTMAS.

Folks ask me where I get my ideas. Three kids, fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Note: I was a very young grandmother! Life is a zoo around here when they all come home. In one Sunday afternoon there's enough ideas to keep me writing for years and years. Seriously, ideas pop up at the craziest times. When one sinks its roots into my mind, I have no choice but to write the story. And while I'm writing the characters peek over my shoulder and make sure I'm telling it right and not exaggerating too much. Pesky little devils, they are!

I have a wonderful agent, Erin Niumata, who continues to work magic and sell my work. I'm very lucky to have her and my editors who continue to believe in me.

Happy reading!

Leah Brennan is supposed to be the good girl of the bunch, and is expected to take over someday for her Grandmother, Mavis, at the River Bend Ranch. Her family has been locked in a battle with a neighboring family, the Gallagher’s, for decades and Leah is sick and tired of the whole feud. While she was in school she had her heart set on Tanner Gallagher, but growing up she realized that could never happen just because he’s a Gallagher. No one would expect Leah to go against her Grandmother’s rules or wishes, but that’s exactly what she does when a sexy, dangerous looking cowboy arrives in town riding a motorcycle! Rhett is smoking hot, with green eyes, and wavy hair, and a tattoo, but there’s more to this cowboy than his sinfully good looks. He’s got a sweet heart and it’s immediately focused on Leah after he lays eyes on her.

Rhett O’Donnell has come into town to work with his cousin Sawyer on Fiddle Creek Ranch. He doesn’t expect to be dragged into the battle between the Gallagher’s and the Brennan’s, but Leah’s a Brennan so there’s no way around it. In between ranching and bartending he strikes up a romance with Leah, and it isn’t long before his heart is long gone to this sweet and sassy schoolteacher.

One Texas Cowboy Too Many
was a sexy, fun, laugh out loud romance. When you see the title you may worry a bit about there being a love triangle, but trust, that was never a big concern as much as the Gallagher’s tried. Rhett was the clear winner in Leah’s heart for the entire book. They have a grown up romance without any petty drama. All the drama comes in the form of the Brennan and Gallagher feud.

In the Burnt Boot, Texas series there’s been a long ongoing feud between the Brennan’s and the Gallagher’s, and let me just say the fighting has been taken up a few notches with this installment. I laughed over Mavis Brennan and Naomi Gallagher’s knock-down-drag-out, these old ladies can sure brawl with the best of them! The hair piece had me giggling! But at the same time the fighting has become serious and I’m worried someone will eventually get hurt or worse. These matriarchs should be ashamed of themselves carrying on this ridiculous feud! Also, I was also furious with Mavis after learning her role in Leah’s mother, Eden, leaving! I hope Eden becomes more a part of Leah’s life in the future.

Carolyn Brown once again makes me swoon, laugh, and dream of living on my very own sprawling Texas ranch complete with a drop-dead-sexy cowboy, of course!

Reviewed for herding cats & burning soup.

Quirky and slightly insane...that pretty much sums up One Texas Cowboy Too Many. Well. The slightly may be debateable. Totally and completely crazy?...yeah, that may be the ticket with this group. lol This is one lively town full of some wild folks dead set on keeping a 100+ year old feud hopping and eventful. You're either a Brennan...a Gallagher... or a damn unlucky sob who is caught in between these feuding families. And whew boy they're gonna make it rough on a person. lol

Alright. The quick of it is that Rhett is new to town. He's come to help his family--who lives between the two feuding ranches--out on their farm. And oh one of the feuding ladies has caught his eye. There's something different about Leah Brennan and he's ready to find out what. Now, Leah? She's tired of being the "good" granddaughter and doing her feuding granny's bidding. She's ready to make her own decisions and one of those? Tackling the bike riding cowboy that's driven into town and is strictly forbidden.

Do you ever meet characters you just fall instantly into and are like oh yeah these two are just the thing!? Seeing them was like when you're out and you see a couple together and they just have that little glowy connection and you can't help but smile seeing them together. Well that was Leah and Rhett for me. I just loved them as individuals and as a couple. They have that "click" that happened when they were around each other and it made me smile. I enjoyed them both immensely and seeing them handle the town and their families. They were that little spot of sane in a mass of chaos.

Leah was one of my favorite things about this one. She's always been the "good" grandchild that did as she was told no matter what but she's finally going after what SHE wants in life and making her own choices. Not taking part in the feud her granny keeps instigating and dating an outsider. She also had some nice sass to her. I loved seeing her come into her own. And I loved that Rhett was easy going and there for her when her life was going sideways and she was having troubles at home. He didn't let too much phase him and was a good guy all around. Their romance was fun and sweet and heart warming. It gets steamy but not TOO detailed. Unfortunately no condoms or chat so that was a bit of a detractor but the chemistry was great.

Oh oh and there was Rhett's dog. I loved that animals were included in this one. Dammit is so dang cute and made me smile. There are kitties too so...yeah. Loved that. Characters who love their pets? Totally my kinda peoples.

Now for the drama. This town is just...wackadoodle crazy. lol It's a never ending battle between the two families and them trying to one up each other and get each other back for the time before and the time before that and...the time before that. It makes for a lot of tension and action. Sometimes that's a good thing. Sometimes not. It's definitely not one you can take totally seriously.

As much as I loved Leah and Rhett's romance I did have some issues with a couple things. This time around the feud was a bit too much. It's not just little things anymore but they're blowing up buildings, burning them down, throwing death threats around, etc. It became a bit ridiculous especially since nothing was ever done about it by the law (apparently they're bought off by one side) and insurance companies are just gonna fork over funds no questions asked? Um...don't think so.

The other thing--and I won't even lie this took off a half star--the hero drives a motorcycle and they call it his...cycle. I'm sorry but no. Absolutely not. That sounds ridiculous. Ex-- "If you asked real nice, I might let you take me home on that cycle out there, Rhett O'Donnell." or "How do you know that's my cycle?" or "I'll bet you both a hundred dollars that neither of you are going to ride on my cycle," Just...no. It took me out of the book so dang fast and it was used...often. It was just so weird. Never heard ANYONE ever call a motorcycle a...cycle.

Overall, though, I enjoyed One Texas Cowboy Too Many. There's something special about the characters Brown brings to life and seeing them find love and romance just warms the heart and leaves a girl smiling.

With each new installment of this series, I have learned to sit back and anticipate the wild and wacky fun between two feuding families, the small town life of Burnt Boot, TX, and a whole lot of cowboy romancing. For the first time, the series takes the plunge and involves a romance between a member of one of the feuding families and new-comer and cousin to the neutral party. If the Pig War from the previous book didn't furnish some laughs, the latest antics of the Brennans and the Gallaghers will with Rhett O'Donnell and Leah Brennan smack dab in the middle.

The story opens when Leah Brennan gets her first look at the new O'Donnell cousin who has come to help the three old ladies and his cousins get their feet under them with the running of the ranches, the store and the bar. Rhett O'Donnell rides up on black motorcycle with cow horns attached to the front, long hair, and tattoo. He looks like every girl's bad boy dream, but he is full-blooded cowboy for all that. Leah is the quiet, good girl of the Brennan clan and has never once stepped out of line, but for this cowboy, she is willing to defy even her hard as steel grandmother herself.

Rhett has no plans to get anywhere near the feud and has only come to help out his cousin Sawyer with the running of the bar and out on the ranch, but one look at sweet, lovely Leah and he's ready to cross the neutral line. But will Leah give up even her family so she can be with a small-time cowboy like him when suddenly Tanner Gallagher her childhood crush is suddenly showing his interest?

This was a fun ranch country romp and as I've noted with the earlier books, not meant to be taken seriously. It builds on the stories that came before it and I enjoyed the connection to Finn and Callie and then Sawyer and Jill from the other books along with the three old ladies who make up the neutral parties. The feud is incredible and I giggled my way along as one crowd blew up a septic tank that rained down poo and then the other family retaliated also involving the noxious contents of a septic tank. Things get crazy. There is a bit of everything in this one even the mystery about Leah's past and the tantalizing temptation Tanner Gallagher offers about ending the feud if she gets together with him.

The romance was sweet and I enjoyed watching quiet Leah stand up for what was right and best even as her formidable grandmother did quite a lot to break her away from honest, hard-working Rhett. They are cute together. Loved their sassy dialogues and fun 'dates'. The author has a gift for the way her romantic pairs play off each other and for the charming, heartwarming simple romances.

I'm not sure what will come next in the series, but I am eager to find out. The feud has escalated one notch higher, but there is hope that maybe the feud can be put to rest.

All in all, this was fun and sassy just as I expected. It's not deep, but it brings a smile to the face. I would recommend the book/series for those who enjoy light and fun small town contemporary western romance.

My thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Brown returns to Burnt Boot, Texas with her readers in a story that was both comically light and emotionally hard hitting. She brings the setting to life with picturesque yet extremely vivid descriptions that allowed me to walk through these ranches alongside the characters. All the while, Brown tells a complex yet easily enjoyable tale about love, family, and all of the headaches that go with it.

The feud between these two families was absolutely hilarious. It was so blown out of proportion that I couldn’t help but laugh at it. That said, because of it there were also some characters that I absolutely couldn’t stand.

Nothing topped Leah & Rhett in this story however. As easy as it was for them to come together as individuals, the sheer number of things that they were battling was astounding. Not only was the relationship between them fantastic, but as individuals they were the type of people that you really want to read about. I enjoyed the fact that above all they both stayed true to themselves.

This novel was a great addition to Brown’s Burnt Boot series. It was a fun read with that hint of emotion that makes the romance shine all the more brightly. It is best read as part of this series, but can also be easily read as a standalone.

Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

Another wonderful trip into the world of Carolyn Brown. Rhett has arrived in town to help his cousin on the Fiddle Creek Ranch and in the bar. Instead of driving a pickup truck like everyone else, he shows up on a steer-horn decorated motorcycle, ponytail, tattoo and all. One of the first people he sees is Leah Brennan and she immediately grabs his attention. Leah is the good girl of the Brennan clan, quiet and slated to eventually become the head of the family. She's the fourth grade teacher at the ranch school, and loves what she does. But one look into his eyes and Leah finds a part of her that she never knew existed.

One of the things I love about Carolyn Brown's books is the way the romance develops. There are no big secrets or other dramatic issues to tear them apart. Instead, there are two adults who take the time to get to know each other and realize that they belong together. Not that it is easy. Leah is a Brennan, and matriarch of the family, Mavis, takes an instant dislike to Rhett. She makes all kinds of threats to keep Leah in line and is none too happy when Leah stands up for her own desires. Being around Rhett gives Leah the courage to fight for herself. Rhett's always been a bit of a charmer, but he quickly realizes that he wants more than just a fun time with Leah. I loved the buildup of their relationship as they get to know each other, from fishing to Ferris wheel rides. Both are a little taken aback by how quickly their feelings grow, but they don't run or hide from them. Their happy ending comes about in an unexpected way, but was perfect for them.

I loved Leah and Rhett. From the moment she met him, Rhett brought out the more adventurous side of Leah. She was no longer content to just go along with Mavis's plans for her. Instead, she finds herself spending as much time as she can with Rhett. I loved seeing her stand up to Mavis and walk away from the ranch and the school, standing on her own. For a long time she had had a crush on Tanner Gallagher, but she knew nothing could come of that. Once she met Rhett, Tanner was history. There was some trouble involving Tanner, which Leah dealt with beautifully.

Rhett was great. He's easy going and has a great sense of humor. He sees the ridiculousness of the feud and doesn't let it bother him. He's very family oriented and refuses to get in the middle of the feud. I like the way he encourages Leah to follow her heart, rather than telling her what she should do. He's a true cowboy gentleman and maintains his cool under some pretty trying circumstances.

The feud between the Gallaghers and the Brennans continues in this book. In the previous book, The Trouble with Texas Cowboys, the feud had taken the form of "pig wars". Things get a lot more intense, smell wise, when septic tanks are involved. There is also a cat fight between the two matriarchs, Mavis and Naomi, right in the middle of the street. I loved the resolution of that one. There are hints that some of the family members have had enough, but so far no one is doing anything about it.

Four stars: A cowboy romance with plenty of sizzle and some family feuding.

Rhett is eager to start ranching in Burnt Boot. When he arrives in town, he is immediately swarmed by the ladies of the town, but only one catches his eye, Leah Brennan. Unfortunately, Rhett learns all to quickly about the long standing family feud between the Gallaghers and Brennans. Rhett certainly doesn't want to be drawn into the feud, but Leah is a Brennan, and the heart wants what the heart wants. Can Rhett avoid the feud and win the lady he desires?

What I Liked:
*One Texas Cowboy Too Many is another fun, exciting and romantic entry in the Burnt Boot Series. This is a book to pick up when you need an escape, or when you are hungering for some comfort reading. This has book has romance, friendship, family feuds and a small town setting.
The romance is one that starts out immediately with a zing of attraction. Then it slows down to settle into a friendship before moving into the romantic territory. I liked watching the two come together, and seeing them fall in love.
*This is the third book in the series, but you can read it as a stand alone since it is a companion novel. Each book in the series focuses on a different couple. I like that you can read this series without having read the others, but it is still nice to have the full story. I love that I got to catch up with the other two couples from the previous books in this one.
*One focal point of this series is the ongoing family feud in the small town between the Brennans and Gallaghers. Think Hatfields and McCoys. The squabbling is no joke, and these folks take their feuding seriously. Some of the pranks were funny, but I can say, I sure wouldn't want to be involved. Good thing I can sit back and laugh, especially when it came to two old ladies throwing down in the parking lot.
*I love that this series always has adorable animals. This time you get a lovable old dog affectionately named Dammit. There is a funny story behind the dog's name, you have to read it for yourself. Loved the sweet dog.
*The ending brings Rhett and Leah's story to a whirlwind close, and I was satisfied with the way it all worked out. However, there were some interesting tidbits thrown out that leave me very curious about the final book in the series.
And The Not So Much:
*Even though the ending brought closure, I felt like it moved a bit too fast, and I was left wanting more. I was hoping that there would be something more on the story line involving Leah's mother. I felt like that was left dangling.
*The romance gets a bit complicated, and it seems like it is going to move into the love triangle territory. Thankfully, that never happens, but I wasn't thrilled when the second suitor showed up.
*There is some conflict at the end regarding the romance and Leah's job, I was disappointed with the way it all worked out. It felt a bit to hasty. I would like to have seen the couple wait a bit longer.
*Throughout the story, seeds are planted for the possibility of the feud ending. I was hopeful that some would take root, but as of yet, I am still waiting. I am expecting the final book to somehow bring an epic ending to a long standing feud.

One Texas Cowboy Too Many is a nice book for when you need a comfort read. I loved escaping to the small town of Burnt Boot to experience romance, friendship and the family feud. This is a book with plenty of sizzle. I enjoyed the romance, and I can't wait for more of this series. I am expecting an big finale in the Fall.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own, and I was not compensated for this review.

One Texas Cowboy Too Many is another zany installment in Carolyn Brown's Burnt Boot, Texas series. In this third outing, good girl Leah Brennan falls for tattooed biker/cowboy Rhett O'Donnell, but will her Granny Mavis's objections ruin their chance at happiness?

Growing up in the midst of the infamous Brennan/Gallagher feud, Leah never even considered acting on her longtime crush on Tanner Gallagher. Still quietly pining after the handsome cowboy, she is surprised by her unexpected attraction to Rhett, but she is even more astonished by her Granny's reaction to the long haired cowboy. Knowing the time has come to break free from both the tension of the longstanding feud and her strong-willed, controlling grandmother, Leah takes the first of many steps to gain some long overdue independence.

Despite his outward appearance, Rhett is a kind-hearted man who is very loyal to his family. Wandering smack dab in the middle of the feud, he refuses to take sides and although he is falling for Leah, he encourages her to do what is best for her and her family. Although he is fully aware of Mavis's dislike of him, Rhett is always a gentleman around her and he is always unfailingly polite whenever their paths cross. He is supportive of Leah without being overbearing and he pretty much takes all of the Brennan/Gallagher families' scheming in stride.

Despite the Gallagher/Brennan family shenanigans, the relationship between Rhett and Leah is quite laid back and conflict free. While there is plenty of sexual tension between them, they take the time to get to know each other before giving in to their passion. Although Rhett and Leah fall in love in a very short amount of time, there is never any doubt that the emotion between them is genuine.

As with the first two books in the Burnt Boot, Texas series, the longstanding Brennan/Gallagher feud takes center stage, often overshadowing the budding romance between Rhett and Leah. The warring family's antics are over the top and so outrageous that it becomes more tiresome than humorous. Equally frustrating are the matriarchs efforts to outdo one another and keep the war going instead of letting bygones be bygones. The younger generations are ready to leave the dispute behind but fear of enraging and/or disappointing their relatives leads them giving up (or sometimes hiding) friendships or romantic relationships.

With a cast of quirky but likable characters, plenty of folksy charm and a sweet, yet sensual romance, One Texas Cowboy Too Many is a wonderful addition to the Burnt Boot, Texas series. Old and new fans of Carolyn Brown are sure to enjoy this newest adventure starring the Gallagher/Brennan families.

An action-packed, fast-paced, sexy tale with a generous dose of laugh-out-loud silliness

"Sometimes you've got to get a machete and hack your way through the kudzu to make your own path in life."

ONE TEXAS COWBOY TOO MANY by Carolyn Brown is a sexy romp returning fans of the series back to Burnt Boot, Texas where the Gallagher/Brennan family feud has escalated into territories previously unimagined. This installment is the story of good girl schoolteacher Leah Brennan and green-eyed, tattooed, long-haired, mouth-watering rancher Rhett O'Donnell.

Leah and Rhett shined as our hero and heroine. Rhett roared into the small western town on his cycle sporting a set of impressive steer horns on its handlebars. You'd better believe that there's a story behind those horns... but don't expect to hear it until after you've survived a third date with its dangerous, hot rider.

Leah had been crushing on Tanner Gallagher for as long as she could remember. Being a Brennan, a Gallagher was off-limits to her. But, as the two families' feud literally explodes into uncharted territory, Leah finds herself on Tanner's radar just as she starts questioning her attraction to him in light of the raw chemistry that's sparking between her and another forbidden guy, Rhett. Mavis, her grandmother and the matriarch of the Brennan's, isn't budging on her strict refusal to consider Rhett as a possible beau for Leah. No one expects Leah to buck Mavis' rules, but that's exactly what Leah does creating a mini-feud within the Brennan's.

Rhett's and Leah's romance is a sure-fire standout alternating between sweet and hot. Even though the title implies a love triangle, there's no real competition once Rhett and Leah set their eyes on each other. Their romance is self-contained within this book. However, this series is best read in order as the feud's wonkiness would not play well as a standalone.

Supporting characters included favorite characters from the previous books. It's an added treat to catch up with them.

This series is lighthearted and whimsical. It's a fun read and not meant to be taken seriously. You can expect an action-packed, fast-paced, sexy tale with a generous dose of laugh-out-loud silliness. There's a plethora of drama - but not in the romance dept - the theatricals are concentrated between the wonky feuding families. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys highly entertaining sassy romances featuring sex-on-a-stick cowboys.

Carolyn Brown is back and as sassy as ever! Burnt Boot Texas is feud city. The Hatfields and the McCoys have nothing on the Gallaghers and the Brennans. And if ever a town needs someone with a little sense, it's Burnt Boot.

This time things are getting interesting. It seems Good Girl Leah Brennan has had a secret crush on bad boy Tanner Gallagher only she's never had the nerve to act on it. I mean how could she? She's being groomed to take over the family. But just when things start getting interesting and Leah just might be having a forbidden romance, a true bad boy rides in. And for Leah? All bets are off.

Rhett O'Donnell is a father's nightmare (or in Leah's case, a grandmother's). He's tattooed, long haired and rides a motorcycle. And he has eyes on Leah Brennan, good girl, school teacher. Does he dare face the wrath of the Brennans?

I won't go into the shenanigans that these two families get up to but let's just say it's a doozy. Burnt Boot surely must stink to high heaven. Of course the minor offenses include bribing the pastor and giving a full time position to a Gallagher when a Brennan has been doing the job for years. And that's only a minor offense. *grins* You have to read these books to believe it.

There is neutral territory and those grounds are all but sacred. You can find both families hanging out and silently taunting each other.. What Carolyn Brown does is mock her characters while making them human and flawed and fun.

These books are not in any way for the serious minded. It's light hearted, it's frivolous and total fun. Fortunately she shows us the importance of laughter with our love. I just love these books and everyone should read them...

This is the first book I have read in this series and while it was entertaining I just didn't like all the drama with the feuding families. After a while I was over it.

I did like the romance and how Leah and Rhett came together. From the moment they first met you could see the mutual attraction between them and knew it was going to build into something more.

This book had so many characters that at times I had a hard time on keeping track of who was who and what family they belonged to. I would suggest the author put a family tree in the beginning or the end of the book so readers can keep track of who is who.

As far as the ending went I was a little annoyed they were rushed into getting married for Leah to keep her job. You can tell they were in love but I think they should have waited. They just began the I love yous and living together.

As far as continuing this series well that's still up in the air. Who knows maybe the next book will knock me off my feet and this town will capture me completely.

I'm always a sucker for a good cowboy romance and nobody is better at it than Carolyn Brown. It amazes me at the variety of sexy, sweeter than soda pop characters that she comes up with. Reading one of her romances is like going to a family reunion where you get to see the feisty older aunts (that you've heard just enough about to know they were hell raisers in their day), the blatantly sexy cousins (who you know not to let get close to your boyfriend) and all the other family members that you hadn't even realized you'd missed so much.

When you throw in a 100 year feud with a growing romance, you are bound to get some hilarious escapades that will have you laughing out loud and swearing you can hear and smell the outhouse as it explodes all around you.

This is another brilliant book in the series and Leah and Rhett were perfect for each other.

Rhett is the cousin of Sawyer and has come to help at the ranch he works at. On his first day he meets Leah and he likes what he sees immediately, especially the sass that she comes out with.

Leah is the good girl on the Brennan side and has always done as she has been told. However at nearly thirty and fed up of the feud between the Brennans and the Gallaghers Leah is starting to stand up on her own two feet. She likes what she finds with Rhett and he is honest and does not play games. He also weeps her off her feet and loves her for who she is.

We get to see the matriarch on both sides acting like children and the shit war start and Leah's dad standing up for her and supporting his daughter.

I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait to see what happens in the last book of the series.

How to ignore a feud unsuccessfully!

Rhett has moved to Burnt Boot, Texas, to run Gladys' ranch and help with the bar when he meets Leah, who is in one of the feuding families. But all she wants is the feud to be over, then she meets Rhett and all she can see is him. But her Granny is set against Rhett, and all of a sudden her old crush Tanner Gallagher on the other side is also trying to court her! What's A girl to do? Read this to find out.

The pace is fast and the tone is uncertain with a character centered storyline that has some steam but no details. The characters are vivid and engaging. I loved Robert's dogs name and the reason for it! Enjoy this cowboy romance with a ton of wild characters and a long held feud! Can't wait to read the last book!

Leah Brennan is the good girl in the Brennan family....always does the right thing...doesn't make waves......BUT.....Rhett O'Donnell comes to town to help Sawyer and Jill with Fiddle Creek ranch. Rhett has long hair, tattoos and drives a motorcycle. He is everything Leah shouldn't want....but... The attraction is mutual. Of course Leah's family is dead set against it. On top of that there is the 100 year feud going on between the Gallaghers and the Brennans. Put it all together and you have a story that keeps you turning the pages right to the very end. I loved every minute of this book and was sad for it to end.

A New Beginning

This story was so refreshing! Loved Rhett and Leah, their relationship was so romantic. Her life was controlled by her evil grandmother, who ruled fer family with an iron fist. The day Leah met she started to question her life. Gradually she decided to stop being a "good girl" and change. The 100 year old feud with the Gallaghers was stupid. The two grandmothers kept the feud going because Mavis stole Naomi's boyfriend. Leah and Rhett fell in love and got married after knowing one another for a month. This was funny and romantic.

Not her best

This is a good story but seems to be written in too big of a hurry. When one paragraph can't stick with whether the guy is on a cycle or in a truck, another describes the couple as being the last to get on the ferris wheel then goes on to describe their wait as the next cars are filled, and numerous other such miscues, some one is definitely not doing their job correctly. The ending is like the required number of words has been reached so they just take a knife and slash off the story at that point. Not conducive to luring the reader to the next novel!

The Brennan-Gallagher feud takes a truly nasty turn here. The families use weapons, explosives and plain old thorns and stickers to thwart family demands. Leah Brennan is the good and dutiful probable first Lady in waiting to the Brennan estate. Rhett O'Donnell is the so-called bad boy of the family, because he owns a motorcycle. There's a lot to be said against judging a book by its cover, but the families here are too bound up in their so-called superiority to see. Leah and Rhett find their way, but a lot of damage is done first, including dangerous arson fires in a very dry area.

Once again the feud was crazy. I had such a good time reading this story. I had already read book 4 and it was easy to slide back and read book 3. Rhett, riding into town on a motorcycle with bull horns and Leah, the good girl of the town found that instant attraction. In is version the feud dubbed the Shit war, goes to new heights. Just imagine a septic system and dynamite. . . . It doesn't get better than this!

I really liked this romance between Jill and Sawyer. I liked all the characters and the plot of this book. Pig wars indeed. I was laughing out loud! I would have enjoyed the bad guys getting their comeuppance for the doing what they did to Jill and Sawyer though. Looking forward to reading more from this series.

Incredibly cheesy holy cow and the ending is so unsatisfying!! What happens with the big fued? Why did Leah’s mother really leave??
The only reason this does have three stars is because I read this book before bed and it helped me to fall asleep, so basically, if you want a book you don’t have to think a lot about, this is the one for you!

OneTexas Cowboy Too Many by Carolyn Brown

A fun read with lots of action and romantic sex. Ms. Brown writes straight from the heart and it tells about her own experience with Texas cowboys, their code of honor , their hard work and their joy of simply loving. Reviewed by Heide Katros, Winter Haven News, Florida

One cute book. Carry on, want more as entertaining as this one to read

This is a really cute read on how lIfe does not always play out like some thinks it should. The heart wants what it wants, we just have to listen.

This book was amazing I like how she decided its time to get out the fude and live her life the way that she wanted to. Not someone telling her what to do. They keep naming the wars between the families to and there very funny because they make it sound like what happened.

One Texas Cowboy Too Many

In this one we return to Burnt Boot, Texas with Leah Brennan and Sawyer's cousin Rhett. The feud between the Brennan's and Gallagher's heats up even more in this 5 star story.

Hilarious

Leah is so brave to fight her grandmother and leave their ranch. The Brennan’s and Gallagher’s have another war and this time it smells bad. It’s a hilarious story and so glad that Leah finds her soulmate in Rhett.

This is a mild romance with a little mild language. The plot didn't really mesh well with the modern setting. Also, the love scenes read like they had unprotected sex, which I cannot condone in modern settings.

Leah was mooning over Trevor for many years but nothing ever happened. Rhett came to town and Leah suddenly realized she didn't feel love for Trevor. The feud between Brennan and Gallagher still goes on, but maybe it's getting a bit deluded
