Zoe Reynolds life is thrown in a tailspin when she catches her fiancé sleeping with his receptionist. Reeling from his betrayal and wanting a change fast, she cuts her hair and purchases tickets to go on a seven day cruise to the Caribbean. All Zoe wanted was some fun in the sun and some time to paint. That was until she meets handsome but shy Donatello “Donnie” Carson a forensics investigator who is on the cruise only to appease his best friend. Donnie is still hung up over bitter loses in his life, but with Zoe he is able to start living again.
Though both have past wounds, sparks fly and their connection sends them on a whirlwind romance. Can Zoe and Donnie let go of the past and find solace in each other?

Taking a break from her life and her cheating ex-fiance, Zoe is treating herself to a solo vacation. She hopes her time on a luxurious cruise ship will give her time to recuperate from her broken heart. Donnie (Donatello, love that name) is a shy, divorced hottie who's been persuaded by his womanizing friend Rob to get back in the saddle again. The two dudes take a cruise to relax and chase women. Rob is into it, but Donnie is not...until he meets the artistic, irresistible Zoe. Then it's full steam ahead! This story is sexy but the HFN shows that Donnie and Zoe have the capacity to be more than just a fling. Good editing, solid couple, sweet read.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this short story from Kay Blake. It was sweet, HOT, honest, and just a great read!! I could not put this book down and I so want to know what is next for Zoe and Donnie. I am rooting for this couple and would love to know what comes next for them!!!

Kay Blake has proven to be a great storyteller and I look forward to reading more from her in the very near future!!!
