Wow! This book was one hot, wild, steamy, super fun ride. It was hilarious at times, and there was so much sexual tension throughout the storyline!

It starts with a bang, and then Soraya draws the reader back into the Chicago Syndicate. This is a complete standalone and can be read as such - you won't be lost at all. There is an overlapping storyline, but it's written in a way that you don't need to have read the previous book (this is a complete standalone, focusing on their story). The dual pov is well done too, voices are unique and the storyline is well thought-out.

The characters are fun and every scene of them together just sizzles with passion! Rosa is sweet, Adam stole my heart, and Logan....Logan was just so macho alpha male with a heart of gold. But, he is a mafia man, and there are some twists and turns that I didn't see coming and loved - even though one plot twist did shock me!

Definitely read this if you're in the mood for a Mafia Romance. It has love, lust, attraction, an edge-of-your-seat storyline, and two main characters with fantastic banter.

Highly recommended if you love contemporary mafia romance!!!!! It's a standalone.

Added to my all-time favorites!! 5++++ stars!

This book was AMAZING. A new adult mafia romance that had me up in the middle of the night to see how it all unfolds, to see how two characters who are opposites have off-the-charts hot chemistry, to see how this author has woven another intricate tale. I don't know any other (Indie) author with her writing style, which is why her novels always stand out to me.

The storyline flows perfectly and every page I made a new discovery or I was laughing because Rosa and Logan are just funny and yummy together. Where she's sassy and loudmouthed, he's debonair and calm and collected...until her! Then sparks fly WILD!!! These two begin a delicious, illicit affair that gave me tingles, but there's SO MUCH MORE. You need to read to find out. The other characters in this novel are memorable and super sweet. I laughed, cried and was very very very shocked once. Everything I want in a contemporary romance was in this beautiful, fast-paced, one-of-a-kind mafia story..........

This book was a hot, steamy, intense and thrilling story!

It's labeled a standalone, however, I think it would be best enjoyed if you read the other books in the series first. It would give you a better understanding of the dynamic history of the characters, their family, their values, and their relationships.

I first met Logan when I discovered the love story of Luca and Fallon and I was always interested in his deal. Logan has always worked on the side of justice and currently works for the CIA. But he's become jaded and now his greatest wish is to become a made man, the capo di capo, of the Chicago Syndicate. He's incredibly loyal, astute, and honorable.

Rosalia is a mafia princess who was kept ignorant of the family business. She's the sister of Cam, who is the wife of Adriano, who is the Boss of the Syndicate. She's young, naive, bold, blunt, loyal and loving.

These two take a chance with each other and a chance on love. But there are outside forces that want to keep them apart and a mafia war brews on the horizon.

The body count rises, loyalty is test, and Logan and Rosalia have to fight to be together.

Recommended for lovers of mafia romance.

In the past year I have read 5 books in this series and loved them all. Besides a romance it’s also mafia story which provides some suspense and heart breaking moments. All her male main characters are just amazing and yummy alpha! I wouldn’t know which one to choose ;) Her female main characters are all so strong and inspire me...

I really liked the switching between their POV’s. I also loved that we get more Luca, Adriano, Fallon and Cam in this book.

I’m giving this well written fifth book of the Chicago Syndicate series 4 stars and am really looking forward to read the sixth book for Henry and Mary!

Having read, reviewed, and actively promoted previous books in this series, I’m at a loss for words to describe how much For Logan missed the mark with me. From the opening disrespectful, crass, completely unnecessary implied sex scene in a Catholic church (near the altar, no less) to the stilted writing, disconjointed, mechanic unfolding plot, it simply did not fit. Told in alternating POV of the main couple, the overuse of the pronoun “I” was painful to endure, as well. This new adult theme featuring a hero ten years the heroine’s senior seemed dumb-downed, as well. I guess I shouldn’t be overly surprised, because starting with For Cam, I at times felt the author would occasionally go off the rails in incorporating OTT shocking sexual content over substance. For example, the brutality behind Cam’s past at the sex club.

Here’s a few examples of my writing issues with this book:

“How easily they take lives and it frightens me to the core.” (Reads like a regency romance.)
“Take one, meet me there when you get the chance to flee, okay?” (Really, who says “flee” nowadays?)
“I’m distressing about Cam’s whereabouts”.
“Okay, I’ll call you as soon as I know more.” He hangs up. (We need to be told he ended the call? We’re not stupid, people. We can figure out when a phone call ends.)
To keep using the term biological chemistry instead of bio-chemistry is like saying mistress instead of Mrs. It just isn’t done. To do it repeatedly, was just plain annoying.
“I like collaborating with Henry, He thinks fast.” (Reads like a 2nd grader.)

Was the writing issues the result of reading an ARC and not the finished product? Here’s to hoping that’s the case, but since ARCs were issued very close to the release date I’m not optimistic that was the case here.

I could go on, my fellow mafia romance book-loving friends, but what’s the point? If you do need a little bit more of why this book will get a low rating with me, here you go...At 12%, Rosa commented to herself she hasn’t had a period in 3 months so needs to make an OB/GYN appointment. Well, I think the logical reader conclusion is she’s likely pregnant, especially since there is some hinted at, but not confirmed, history with a sub-character she’s been warned to stay away from. Throw in the fact she didn’t exactly strike me as the virgin type, if you know what I mean. Then she goes into a wild party, sits down, and snorts a line of cocaine. Sorry, folks, I have to actually like and respect my leading book characters. That’s despicable, deplorable..just plain wrong. Sure, it turns out she wasn’t pregnant, but how the heck was I supposed to know that. Why would I even want to continue reading thinking she might be? She obviously hasn’t been intimate with Logan yet, but we do know he’s a man ho who has been with so many women he doesn’t even bother to remember their names. He certainly seems to flirt with every woman who bats their eyes at him. Again, got to have some respect for my characters or they just aren’t worth my time.

Need another nail is this series’ coffin? How about the title of the next book? For Henry. For real? That’s about the most non-mafioso sounding name imaginable. Sounds more like an appropriate title for a children’s book. Sadly, this isn’t just a review, but likely a break up letter. I can’t imagine continuing with this series or likely this author.

As an avid mafia romance reader, I’m no stranger to dark themes. Bethany-Kris, Nancy Haviland, London Miller, JJ MacAvoy, Katee Robert, Dana Delamar, Lisa Cardiff, and A. Zavarelli are just a few mafioso authors on my long list of go to reads. This is my favorite romantic genre, folks, but this series, book by book, has been dying a slow death with me. Here’s to hoping others enjoy it. Her book characters and their actions have just kept getting less and less appealing to me.

Title: For Logan, Series: The Chicago Syndicate (Book 4), Pages: 310, stand-alone but part of a series, did not finish, hero is ten years older than heroine, heroine is Cam’s sister, hero is disillusioned CIA agent/traitor working for the mob to earn money to support his mom/wants to be a rich mobster, didn’t like the writing.

I LOVED THIS BOOK ! I can't tell you much I enjoyed reading this heart pounding, racy, sexy, dangerous and OMG oh so good story. It was fast paced with all the elements I require for a 5+ star read ! The prologue sets the tone for the novel and right away you will know to settle in and get ready to enjoy the ride of your life.

It is a stand alone but I suggest you read the whole series just so you can get a better feel for the characters as they all do play large roles in each story.

Logan and Rosalia are a couple that on paper should never be together but in reality they are made for one another. One a CIA agent who is trying to become part of the Italian mob the other .. daughter of the former Mob Boss .. see told ya .. not so ideal on paper ! I feel in love with Rosalia's spunk and all around character. She was tough when needed and sweet where warranted. Her heart big and her smart mouth the bane of Logan's existence. The attraction between them is instant but then again they both know how it can never be .. As the story line progresses so do things between them. Finally giving into their desires, Logan and Rosalia set upon a journey of self discovery, second chances, and absolution. The banter between them is sometimes so funny I was snort laughing as well as feeling the underlying currents of the extreme attraction between them.

Bullets fly, tempers flare, danger surrounds them and together they will fight for family, love and each other.

Read and find out how the story of Logan and Rosalia ends ..

This one I think is the best of Chicago syndicate yet. Soraya’s writing has gone from strength to strength with this series. The characters have grown from the first novel, For Fallon and I'm kept in suspense waiting to find out more about their lives in and outside of the syndicate.

Wade the CIA agent turned associate to the syndicate, wanting desperately to be a full member due to his own financial needs and Rosalia, the mafia princess, daughter of James the former boss now conslierge to Adriano. She wants everyone to see she's no longer a child and a woman with her own mind, wants and desires. The one thing she desires most just happens to be Logan Wade!!! The sexual chemistry between these two is of the charts sizzling hot but their secret affair is full of lies, deception and murder. When everything is brought out in the open is their love for each other strong enough and when the lies and deception are all revealed, it's the syndicate that both of them need to answer too.

Fantastic story and installment of the series so far. I loved the epilogue of Rosalia and Logan’s story, it made me so happy for them. I'm intrigued to hear more from the men of the Chicago syndicate and the women in the lives. Looking forward to the next installment already.

For Logan is book five of Soraya Naomi's steamy, action packed Chicago Syndicate series. And I must say that this book cover is by far my favourite from this series. Beautiful.

A rogue CIA agent hell-bent on looking out for himself after justice has failed him. An ex-mob bosses daughter, sheltered from the life her family leads. Their first encounters made me wonder how exactly things might pan out between such opposites. I wasn't left wondering for long though. The crazy sexual tension, heart breaking discoveries, suspense and intrigue make this one page turning read.

"The handful of times I've seen him, we've never really talked. This is the second time he's had to help me, and I think he truly sees me as a nuisance."

Upon meeting the sassy college student Rosalia, it was clear she was very naive and a little vulnerable. However, things quickly change. Throughout the book the transformation Rosa goes through is gradual, but unavoidable in the dangerous world she now realises she's in. Every experience, both bad and good seemed to only amplify this underlying strength and intelligence of hers. I loved this, and I loved the banter between Rosa and Logan. Their stolen moments added some much appreciated humour and lightness that helped to balance out the uncertainty and darkness looming over them.

"What's been going on around me while I've been ignorantly living my life?"

Told in first person, dual POV from both Logan and Rosalia. For Logan is loaded with everything a reader is looking for in their next Mafia read. Even though it's part of a series it most definitely can be enjoyed as a stand alone. There is a lot of involvement from other characters in the series though. So it would probably make an awesome book even better when you know the stories connected to some of the secondary characters.

Dark, intensely dangerous and sexy, For Logan dishes out delicious twists and heart pounding moments at every turn.

"I've learned that love truly doesn't follow rules of logic. Love is magic. It's trusting blindly - even if it means taking the risk to get hurt."

I received an ARC in exchange of honest review for For Logan by Soraya Naomi. It has been an honor to be given a chance for the ARC.. Before I started this book I already known Logan by heart . If you have read the previous book his involvement started from Book 1. Now its his time to shine. I love Soraya Naomi ever since I read For Fallon and the rest of her Chicago Syndicate series I became a big fan and she’s one of my favorite author. She’s amazing writer with a brilliant mind. Once you started reading it you can’t put it down and Logan is no exception her sense of style in writing never cease to amaze me. I loved both the character of Rosalia and Logan the bantering is cute. They are both fascinating and of course Adam which add to their colorful story. While reading the story the author was able to stir different kind of emotions the one you can connect to the characters. She was able to sustain the mystery, excitement, and the book is engrossing enticing and exciting. Also, I love the presence of Fallon, Luca, Cam & Adriano to the story which I find it awesome. Now that I read the book im looking forward for Book 6..!

Just when I think Soraya can't get any better, her next book knocks the last book out of the park! For Logan is edgy, riveting, intense and flat-out enticing!! I couldn't stop reading once I started.

For Logan is Logan and Rosalia's story. And it's one hell of whirlwind story. Just when you think sh*t can't get any more deeper or condescending with the mafia, Soraya proves you wrong!

"Ultimately, we all lie, cheat, and steal to hold on to moments of happiness. Even people whom we least expect."

Logan is a CIA agent working with the Chicag Sydicate (mafia). He's not sworn into the mafia so everything he does is to prove his worth. Rosalia is James' daughter (former mafia boss) - Yea, that alone makes this a very intense situation.

For anyone who has read the previous books, will really appreciate this book. We get a behind the scenesf what really went down with Dimitri and his Ukrainian Mafia becoming obsolete in the previous book. For those of you who have not (shame on you lol), fear not - you won't be lost at all, trust me. But after reading this book, you will want to go back and read the rest!!

"I ultimately make the wrong choice, setting in motion a chain of destruction that ruins many lives."

Soraya really knows how to weave a story of romance and suspense together. She is able to build up the story with the prefect tempo and added tension to keep you gripping the pages. I found myself wanting to know what would happen between Rosa and Logan but also trying to figure out how everything is going to work out.

What made me love this book even more was that with all the suspense, action and holy hot scenes, Soraya threw in scenes that tore at my heart and my tears welled up. She gives you everything in this book!!!

If you want a true mafia book, Soraya is your go-to woman!! She brings it all! If you have never read anything by her before, I urge you try to her. She will knock your socks off!!!

This series is one of the few series I've read that can maintain the interest of its followers! Each story is as fresh and exciting as the previous stories in the series.

Logan is a puzzle begging to be solved but the handler is not so easy to tame! Rosa has led a very sheltered life but she's no dummy. She knows what she wants and is determined to make her mark. Unfortunately her direction sometimes is not the direction Logan has in mind. It's obvious the two are meant for each other but pride is a terrible thing! They will each have to go in opposite directions before finding their way back to each other.

For Logan is a great read and has the perfect mix of drama, angst, relationship woes, Mafia life, and an overflow of emotions! Kudos to Soraya for another great story!

4 stars!

Soraya Naomi has created such an amazing series with The Chicago Syndicate, and it just keeps getting better and better with each book. For Logan was sexy and suspenseful, and full Naomi's usual twists and turns that kept me hooked the whole way through. Logan and Rosalia's story was a wild ride that was both sensual and emotional, with just enough action and suspense to balance out the superb storyline. The two of them were forced to fight their circumstances, and at times each other, to find their happiness, and their journey was certainly a difficult one.

The author creates such great characters that have a realness about them that the reader can relate to. Rosa is someone who is innocent and grew up sheltered, yet longs to break free from the binds that hold her back. She is smart and quick-witted, a trait that Logan finds hard to resist, although he tries. Logan is someone who has always been an enigma. We learned at the end of the last book that this man is much more complex than he originally let on, and I was dying to get inside his head. He was so incredibly charming, sexy, and possessive. Naomi knows how to write an hot alpha male, and Logan can definitely rival Luca and Adriano in that category. I loved his interactions with Rosa from the very beginning, and I especially enjoyed how they balanced each other out. The fire and passion that existed between Logan and Rosa was so hot, and I loved the chemistry that they shared. Their emotional connection was just as strong as their physical one, as these two seemingly different individuals shared a bond like no other.

Naomi created such an intriguing world with the Syndicate, and the suspense in this book was epic. I loved reconnecting with Luca, Fallon, Adriano and Cam again. This group of people have become a family, one that comes together when threats from outside forces come their way, and boy was this book jam packed with action and suspense. The things that Logan and Rosa had to go thorough were so emotionally wrecking. This author knows how to take her characters through hell and back. There were moments in the story that brought tears to my eyes, moments that had me laughing out loud, and moments that gave me hope that this couple would somehow make it work against all odds. This was the first mafia series that I fell in love with, and I am so thrilled to know that there are more books coming in the Chicago Syndicate series.

Another 5-Star Mafia Hit For The Syndicate!

Soraya Naomi has done it again with the fifth installment to the Chicago Syndicate Series. For Logan focuses on CIA double agent, Logan Wade, who is pledging his allegiance to the Italian mafia, and Rosalia Calderone, the daughter of the ex-mob boss and current counselor to the powerful Chicago Syndicate. Their meeting is initially awkward and an annoyance to both of them, however as time passes, an overpowering attraction grows into lust and love that cannot, and will not be ignored for anyone.

I’d like to clear up some misinformation.

Rosalia is a complex, endearing, flawed and loveable character. In an early scene, she is worried that she’s missed a few periods, but states "I can't be pregnant." This is the first clue of her virginity. There's no chance that she can be pregnant because of it, and she KNOWS it (aaannnnddd... So would the reader, if you read correctly.)

Rosalia is devastated to find out she can’t have children. As we all do, she makes a bad choice and goes to a party with a friend and indulges in drugs. Is it a bad decision? Of course, but this is a mafia book. Let’s be real. Drugs are in all of them. So is killing. Let me reiterate: there is no chance she could be pregnant because she is a virgin.

Logan is a womanizer, as most alpha males are in these types of books, but once he falls for Rosalia, no other woman exists for him. He only has eyes for her. In fact, he waits for her knowing she is a virgin. He’s gentle and transforms into the Logan he’s wanted to be his whole life. Only Rosa’s love does that for him.

In true mafia style, there is danger, suspense, drama and high stakes. This book kept me guessing from one page to the next. All of my favorites return and it feels like coming home. No one writes like Soraya Naomi and that’s what makes her books so special.

I can’t wait for For Henry!

Another great book by be of my favorite authors. Logan is a CIA agent who doesn't believe in justice anymore. He has defected to the Chicago Mafia. He's their go to guy for the latest technology courtesy of the CIA. He has it good and hen he meets Rosalia. She's the bosses daughter and thus off limits. He can't resist when he is told to guard her. They start off innocently enough but then the chemistry is too strong to ignore. When she protects one of her friends who is Russian the family turns on her. All but Logan. Her father turns out to be a real piece of mean work. The end was sweet and Logan both deserve to be happy. And Adam is in good hands. A really good book.

Wow!!! Soraya has done it again. What an amazing story. It has everything in it. I love reading about the Mafia men and their families. It is full of passion, humour, tears and plenty of action. The action can be pretty brutal at times but so unpredictable. I loved it. My only complaint is, that I want MORE!!!! I loved the characters. They were so believable and it is so well written. Thanks Soraya. Well done

5 Stars for Logan and Rosalia

What did I just read?
This book was seriously amazing! The writing style as well as the characters in this book (theold ones as well as the new ones) kept me glued to the book.
Logan Wade, an agent who is defecting to the Chicagoan mafia has no intention of settling down with a woman. He likes to screw around with a lot different women.

When Logan meets Rosalia, the mafia counselor’s daughter, there is an instant chemistry between the two of them. Rosalia is ten years younger, reckless and always talking.

I think the dialogues were hilarious. They really try to not like each other, but as we all know, it always comes different then you might think.

Because of the dual pov you get a look in the head of both main characters, which I really enjoyed.
After Rosalia and Logan have to spend more time together, they start growing closer and finally giving in to the passion, that you can feel throughout the whole story.

All scenes with Rosa and Logan are absolutely great and you automatically start rooting for them!
Logan is such a sweet guy, but also an alpha male. - what more could we want?

In this book you will find some plot twists, that you won’t see coming. But that is what the storyline makes so gripping and you can’t put this book down.

Soraya Naomi created an amazing world with this Chicago Syndicate Series.
I’m definitely looking forward to the other books of the series! :)

I have a horrible problem of jumping into a few books at one once for some strange reason, very few books hold my attention to finish without reading another one at the same time. This series has kept me more engaged then I've been in a while with a multiple book series.

For Logan is Logan and Rosalias story. Logan is a CIA agent working with the Syndicate and Rosalia is James daughter. When Logan is told he has to essentially babysit Rosalia he's not crazy about it, in the beginning. There chemistry is off the charts.

As with the other books in the series this one is chalk full of suspense, angst, heat & unexpected twists. Like I've mentioned before I recommend starting the series from the beginning cause how well all the books flow into one another but, each book is standalone and you won't have issues following along.

Now I understand, LOGAN! I was so confused with the name change but it all makes sense now!
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I really love these books because the characters are written so well and this one is just as well done! In "For Cam", we see snippets of the brewing love affair between Wade and Rosalia. It was intriguing because I saw Wade as a sneaky agent. But learning more about him in reading this book made me put him in the same league as Luca and Adriano. Rosa, I only saw her as a spoiled Mafia princess but she was so much more and sassy! And how can I leave out the dirty mouth that was on Logan...hmmm, hello! Those scenes where pretty caliente!! And it has everything that other books have and savor in Mafia/Romance: suspense, murder, lies, family and love!
There was one issue that I have with the book and that is why I gave it a four star...it was very slow build up. I was a little bored in the beginning...it wasn't gripping me. But once the characters realize that they are falling for each other, I really started to dive in deeper and then the bomb that happened sucked me in even more.
I'm not going to reveal spoilers but the turmoil and lies they go thru...it takes a strong person to move past all that drama but love is a tricky thing. Its a I'm also glad that these books are just one now per couple. It will be interesting to see how the syndicate moves forward after what happened...

This is a good read. I liked Wade since Fallon's book, he came across as a hero in that book, much to Lucas's irritation.
We find out in this book why he has so many names, he comes across differently to how I saw him in book one. He doesn't form emotional attachments and we find out why.
This book also crosses timelines with Cam's book so make sure you read the series in order.
When a book crosses timelines it can be tricky but this is done well as is the dual POV, which can be repetitive if not handled well but I didn't find that with this book.
I don't like cheating in any shape or form and when I started this book I was concerned due to Logan's charm with the ladies but it's handled well, I will say no more.. no spoilers.
We are introduced to Henry, who is next in the series so that's set up nicely.
The author is not afraid to be ruthless so beware not everyone will be safe.

I was lucky enough to recieve an unedited ARC of For Logan, Chicago Syndicate #5 and I loved it!

Sometimes we take risks and they don't play out as we expected, but it's better to regret something you did do than to regret something you didn't do. Living with what coudl've been is far worse.

Soraya, yet again, is true to her world of love, lust, family and mafia! Not as dark as the previous ones, the power of love still dominates the story. You do not mess with a Mafia man's love for his woman.

"This is who I am. A man who takes care of his own with the extent of my power, without answering to anyone."

I was looking forward to Logan's story. Soraya did not decieve! It can be read as a standalone but it would be a shame to miss out on knowing each character in order.

Money makes life easier, but companionship and family makes it whole.

For Logan was a sexy, suspenseful and at times heartbreaking rollercoaster of a read!
Loved this book!
Logan is a sexy alpha dominant man. Who has had heartbreak so doesn't do the relationship thing. He's a one nightstand kinda guy that calls women babe because his had so many he forgets their name.
Rosalia is a sassy spunky sheltered college student. She says what she please sometimes without thinking through things. She believes in family and love.
When they first met they both find the other annoying for their own personnel reasons although you can feel the attraction between the two. As time goes on they start to give in to their feelings and then lookout because all hell breaks loose!
Their love will be tested. Families will be destroyed. Lives will be lost.
Great storyline! Great characters! Great read!
Also loved the cover!

Arc given for an honest review

I loved this book. I had nights where I stayed up late to read it. Then, I had nights I'd only read for a short amount of time. I didn't want it to end yet. The story Soraya created for Logan and Rosalia was very different from the others, yet so good at the same time. Sometimes it was an emotional journey to get through, at least to me because of some of the events that occurred in the book. They have a crazy sexual attraction as well. It definitely got hot and crazy! The action and suspense was just as good from the first one to this one. It has peaked my interest about Henry's character as well. I definitely want to know more! I'm most definitely excited for his book to come out. Thank you for letting me receive an ARC copy of the book! :)

Received an arc for an honest review

Before I get into my review of this book it can be read as a standalone. But I feel as if you should read the series first. Some of the characters from the previous books play huge rules in For Logan.

I will say For Logan was outstanding. The suspense, action, and hot sex scenes that made me literally melt.

In this book, you have no idea who you can trust. Danger at every corner, death and destruction right in front of you.

Rosalia and Logan.
Two destined for greatness, but not together.
Together they will cause havoc.

One born into the mafia crime and the other a CIA agent.

Rosalia is a sweet innocent young women. Fiesty to the bitter end. She holds her ground when she needs to.

Logan, typical tall dark and handsome. When he meets Rosalia all bets are off the table he must have her.

Now these two are like modern day Romeo and Juliet.
There shouldn't even be a possibility that these two should be together.
But life has its way of changing things.

For Logan was definitely a wild ride.
Death, Lust, Love and Betrayal,
Loyalty will be tested.

Will Rosalia and Logan make it out alive?
Read to find out.

3 Underwhelming Stars

Unfortunately the synopsis for me didn't quite live up to my expectations... There was way too much going on outside of Rosa and Logan's relationship and I found myself bored and wanting more time with their relationship.

Anyways.....it was just an "ok" read, nothing special for me this time around!
