1930's Adventurer and globetrotting soldier-of-fortune Blackjack returns in this illustrated three story collection (though it should be noted that one of them - "Goliath Must Die"- appeared previously in a prose short story collection) that takes the well traveled adventurer on missions (wherther personal, revenge or job related) that require his wits, skill, fists and sometimes even bullets to navigate. Writer (and Blackjack creator) Alex Simmons and collaboator/artist Tim Fielder bring the look and feel of a 40's movie serial to the page. The lead story - "Way of The Moore" - is particulary adept representing the fast moving, edge-of-your-seat, action the talent involved are looking to pay homage to. An enjoyable find and read.
