I have enjoyed reading these books and especially three at a time. The average book is not long enough. It is fun to see the characters develop as the books go along.
Also interesting is the mix of fact and fiction. This makes the story more believable. I look forward to more books.
One of the best books I have read fast paced and informative of ancient history really great read sorry to reach the end would recommend you to follow this author brilliant
I am looking forward to reading more from this author she makes the stories seem so real you can imagine yourself caught up inside the story. Superb .
These books are so wonderful! Archaeology, mystery, danger, adventure. Great character development and the continuum between books is totally amazing. I cannot put them down. Devouring one after another!
Loved the three first books and can't wait to read the next one! Loved the characters especially Henry, Danny, Yoni and Jen It's fun and interesting to read and it was great how the author mixed fantasy with actual facts!! Totally recommend it!!!
All three books were highly entertaining and intriguing. The historical facts were interesting and they were successfully woven into three page turning novels. The characters were likeable and believable. I started the first book and couldn't stop until I was finished with the last. The series was highly satisfying, as well as leaving you wanting more, which I believe the author is planning to take care of. I would love to read more about this ultimate battle between good and evil, and find out how Laney, Jake, and Henry will fare in the next battle, as well, as finding out who their next nemesis is. Also, it will be interesting to learn more information about Laney and Henry's mother, who is she exactly?
I love the characters and the story behind these books. L also like that the writer gives research/background on people, places, and things referenced in the books. They were a lot of fun to read and hard to put down. Can't wait to read the next in the series. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because, in my opinion, there are too many typos (missing words, etc.) that should have been caught in the editing process. It doesn't affect the actual story, it's just one of my pet peeves.
I’m so glad I found this series after 14 books were written. I’ve just finished the first three in the series. I couldn’t put it down. The action and surprises kept me reading well into the wee hours of the morning. Good thing I’m retired.😀. I also enjoy the sections at the back of the book where the author lets you know what was fact or fiction in the book. I would highly recommend the series. Now on to book 4.
One of my favorite aspects of this series is that so much of it is based in historical documents and real life places. It really makes you wonder about the past.
Brady does an amazing job of blending her story with that of history. It's been an amazing read and I can't wait to pick up the next set of books!
I basically just read the three books without pause. Enjoyed every minute of it too. Interesting characters who are developed nicely. Lots of action and suspense. Unique villains. And the nice thing is that the series is believable. There’s a religious background but it doesn’t get into your face or derail the story line. Highly recommended.
While the imagination involved in writing the story revealed in Book 1 is provocative, the writing style is so awkward and rife with grammatical and usage errors that I was editing as much as I was reading. Shocking. I plan to read the next books in the series because my friend says that they get better, but I wouldn't do so if it weren't for her recommendation.
I don't believe anything is more thrilling for a reader than when a new author is discovered. I am one lucky person to have discovered this author and series in the latter part of my life. I may not move much anymore but, I sure can read.
This series of books were hard to put down. At times it went too fast and some of the story line seemed a little far fetched, but once you read the source for the books, it makes more sense. Alloy plenty of time because once you get into the books, the characters keep you interested.
For anyone loving ancient history mixed with a healthy imagination, archeology, intelligent kick-ass characters and a polished writing style topped with ancient alien theories...this book series is for you. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. Well done!
Wonderful books that I really enjoyed reading. I appreciated the effort made in researching the historical background and the fact based settings and references. The story line was paced well and each book had a solid ending without major cliffhangers.
I've only ever re-read 2 series before this one (throne of Glass and Harry Potter) and now this one makes a third. I love the characters so much and I'm enjoying rereading it even more than the first time
I have just read books 1 thru 3 and cannot wait for what comes next. R D I know you can hold me with your writing, but this is awesome. I am captured and waiting for the next episode.
I am so glad that I stumbled across this series! I’ve gotten through the first 3 books and am hooked! So well written, the characters are interesting and the storyline keeps you guessing!
I'm enjoying this series. I took me a while to write on here. I'm on book 10 of the series. I love series so I'll probably read all books. If it will ever end. LOL
