Five millennia before Luke Skywalker was born — and 1,000 years before two young Jedi reawakened a long-dormant evil — the dark power of The Sith held unquestioning rule over the galaxy. For those black-souled, corrupt Jedi, it was a golden age. For the rest of the galaxy, it was a nightmare.

Yes, I have a lot of books, and if this is your first visit to my amazon author page, it can be a little overwhelming. If you are new to my work, let me recommend a few titles as good places to start. I love my Dan Shamble, Zombie P.I. series, humorous horror/mysteries, which begin with DEATH WARMED OVER. My steampunk fantasy adventures, CLOCKWORK ANGELS and CLOCKWORK LIVES, written with Neil Peart, legendary drummer from Rush, are two of my very favorite novels ever. And my magnum opus, the science fiction epic The Saga of Seven Suns, begins with HIDDEN EMPIRE. After you've tried those, I hope you'll check out some of my other series.

I have written spin-off novels for Star Wars, StarCraft, Titan A.E., and The X-Files, and I'm the co-author of the Dune prequels. My original works include the Saga of Seven Suns series and the Nebula Award-nominated Assemblers of Infinity. I have also written several comic books including the Dark Horse Star Wars collection Tales of the Jedi written in collaboration with Tom Veitch, Predator titles (also for Dark Horse), and X-Files titles for Topps.

I serve as a judge in the Writers of the Future contest.

My wife is author Rebecca Moesta. We currently reside near Monument, Colorado.

Interesting! A Good Launch!

A short but enticing prelude to the legendary series! I'm hooked. Having just finished the Dawn of the Jedi comics I'm hoping to be as satisfied was the epic stories of this saga. So far I'm not disappointed!

A comic i am not interested in

Bought it by "accident" and wont even consider reading further since the settings of the story don't interest me a tiny bit. Not saying it is bad but it is not for me.

Sigue poseyendo una increíble estética y estilo, pero para lo que habían logrado los arcos anteriores, este se siente como casi pura exposición y sin adentrarse en los aspectos más interesantes que podrían tener los sith.

Not my favorite SW comic, admittedly—though there are some fascinating ideas here (battle meditation is such a cool feat), the art style was a little too simplistic for my taste.

"It was amazing." - 5 out of 5 star rating.

This Golden Age of the Sith comic book series is starting off pretty strong.

As expected, this issue #0 is a huge set-up comic. We get interesting characters, nice artwork, a great set-up for things to come, the lay of the land in terms of current crisis, planets, and politics, and more.

Notable mention here big time is a deep dive into the Jedi ability known as Battle Meditation, first really seen and made popular by Bastila Shan in Knights of the Old Republic. We get some really great lore drops here and actually seeing what is going on inside of the heads of the opposition as well as the allies of the Battle Meditation user(s). Pretty damn awesome to say the least. Big +1 star here alone for this aspect of the comic.

Looking forward to this short ~6 issue series!
