I'm a British author and live in Norfolk, England. I write mystery/detective novels and have two series on the go: Rafferty & Llewellyn and Casey & Catt.
I also write historical novels, of which my first is Reluctant Queen: The Story of Mary Rose Tudor, the Defiant Little Sister of Infamous English king, Henry VIII.
This is a great chance to get four Rafferty and Llewellyn British crime novels for one low price!
Absolute Poison book 5 Another gem in the Rafferty and Llewellyn series! Geraldine Evans continues to come up with baffling mysteries for the duo to solve as they become a better team and get closer to becoming family with the approach of Llewellyn's upcoming wedding.
Rafferty's Ma, her shenanigans, and his "Catholic conscience" continue to be a bain to his existence throughout this case. Every since Llewellyn bought a bought a high quality, bargain priced suit from Rafferty's ma, intending to wear it for his wedding to Rafferty's cousin Maureen, Rafferty has been trying to find a way to talk to him about it. How can Joe tell the upright David that his ma got the suit from a dodgy tailor? The last thing he wants is Ma up on charges!
Then the town is floating in bodies, all in one week, with the suicides and a poisoning. With an entire office full of suspects it's more than Rafferty can cope with. Everyone has a reason for a grudge against the victim. For once even Rafferty isn't quick jumping to conclusions.
Get your copy today and see if you can figure out who the murderer is amongst all the possibilities. I didn't see this one coming!
Dying for You book 6 Another winner by Geraldine Evans! With her typically intricate plot and surplus of suspects, Ms Evans delivers hit after hit with delightful DI Rafferty and Sgt Llewellyn. These characters are made all the more real by their human foibles. If you haven’t tried this series yet, why not start today?
Joe Rafferty has really taken stock since the wedding of his partner to his cousin. He is tired of living a lonely life. If it were up to Ma Rafferty he would be set up with a nice Catholic girl and raising a family by now.
Not wanting any more of his Ma’s matchmaking, Joe thinks he has come up with a good solution, join a dating service. To keep anyone on the force, as well as his family, from knowing about it, he has the perfect plan. He will sign up with his cousin’s name. They look a bit alike and his cousin will lend the documents, for a price.
His great solution becomes an even greater nightmare when ladies he was seen with at the services functions turn up dead. With Rafferty’s alter-ego as the last person to see them alive, he is the most likely suspect in their murder! How in the world can he get himself out of this mess?
Come along for the ride as DI Rafferty attempts an instant make-over to keep other witnesses from recognizing him. Will he be able to find the real killer and clear his alter-ego’s name?
Bad Blood book 7 This delightful mystery takes a dark look at a family that has a problem telling the truth. What should be a grieving family, after losing their mother and grandmother, soon becomes a family of suspects when they just can’t keep their stories straight.
When Rafferty and Llewellyn are called to the scene of an elderly woman’s murder, it looks like a burglary gone bad. Clara Mortimer is discovered by her neighbor when they notice Clara’s door is ajar.
However when Clara’s daughter is notified of her mother’s death, she seems more angry at her mother than she does a grieving daughter. She is soon caught out for lying to questions posed by the police. The case turns into one where almost all members of this broken family have been caught in lies. It is hard to investigate a murder when no one is willing to tell the truth.
See how Rafferty and Llewellyn handle this motley bunch. Will Clara ever find justice?
Love Lies Bleeding book 8 In typical Geraldine Evans fashion this book will take you round in circles, not guessing the murderer until the very end. The wonderful main characters, Joe Rafferty and Dafyd Llewellyn will become your friends over this series span as you stand beside them on their sometime tumultuous journey through life and career. Why not meet them today?
When a slight and attractive young woman stumbles in to the station and confesses to murdering her husband one would think it would be an open and shut case. If so you have never read one of these mysteries. Nothing is ever that simple in the life or work of Joe Rafferty.
The young woman collapses after her admission and is whisked away to hospital. True she was covered in blood and made a confession, but not knowing her identity makes it a bit hard to determine if there is a crime. When they are finally able to verify her story, the duo finds it hard to believe such a small woman could have murdered her very much larger and stronger husband in the manner of death.
Further it appears she is not the one with the most to gain in the event of her husband’s death. His other family members are in line to inherit his wealth. Should Rafferty take her confession at face value when several others with more motive are thrown into the mix?
I love this series and watching the partnership grow as it grows, the more Rafferty tries to keep Llewellyn from finding out when he gets himself in a fix.
With Llewellyn now family, you would think it would help, but he is also very straight laced and and sees everyone in black and white.
Thankfully, Llewellyn is quick to watch out for him when he knows something is up.
A great mix of detective work with a bit of comedic relief thrown in
