Paz Interior: Como Ser Calmamente Ativo e Ativamente Calmo

Rate this book

A classic study on reaching the higher self via meditation and inner peace.

The more time I spend, with Yogananda (decades now) the more I understand the simple profundity of what he was saying. I enjoy seeing this language and lexicon of ideas in french, having probably read the same passages long ago in english.

This is a really good little book. It talks a lot about God, and having contact with him, and it's a little bit of a Christian viewpoint of.

I received this book as a bit of a joke from one of the guests at my wedding. I made an offhand comment when I was in high school about finding inner peace that was caught on film...and many years later I was given the book.

Anyway, there isn't really much to it. Large print, tall leading between the sentences. I lot of talk about the importance of meditation and living life in the present moment. A lot of the same stuff you might find in any self-help book.

Nothing exactly wrong with this book, but not a life-changing experience by any stretch.

Book that will change your life for good if you want to. Abundance of wisdom and insight into world of peace.Helps us understand meaning of inner peace and teaches us how to overcome things that keep us away from achieving it. One should at least takeaway meditation technique and breathing exercise from this book. Will keep it with me forever. Small book and can be read in an hour or two.

I'll admit that I didn't read further into this book than a few pages. It seemed to be all snippets and no information. Perhaps I didn't read enough or focus deeply enough but this just isn't what I'm looking for right now.
