Glad it was free
I skipped sections of this volume, having no desire to read teasers. I skimmed through what I did read. In short, what we have here are stories with promiscuous heroines--even the virgin heroines come across as promiscuous--having completely unrealistic sex with multiple partners simultaneously. Don't get me wrong: I enjoy well written menage sex scenes. These sex scenes are hackneyed, the dialog stilted, and the writing poorly edited. Missing punctuation and malapropisms abound, sometimes to unintentionally humorous effect. As wet as each heroine is,throughout each story, the reader should not be surprised to develop a sympathetic yeast infection.
I originally thought to give this book a paltry two stars, but then decided that the author's deceit should not be rewarded The Billionnaire's Charity Ball is a novella ending at less than halfway through this volume. It's followed by short stories and sample chapters, all just as poorly written as the main story. Sorry, Ms. Cartwright, I was expecting a novel length book and didn't get anything close to that. You lost that second star.
