Jasmine Young was head over heels in love with her boyfriend of four years, Tarrell Coleman—or so she thought until she caught him in bed with another woman in the home they shared together. Finally finding the nerve to take her independence back, Jasmine decides to get a place of her own with her best friend Chantae to get away from all the drama. Over the course of trying to get over Tarrell, Jasmine quickly develops a friendship with June Robertson. The two connect instantly, and after one fateful night, she realizes that he’s the one who’s been there all along and not Tarrell. Ready to take a chance on “true” love, Jasmine abandons all of her relationships and principles and falls fast into June’s arms, but will he be there to catch her, or will she be left standing alone to pick up all the pieces?
Jasmine, Jasmine why are you getting with guys that don’t value you! Everyone wants to be loved but being cheated on, physically, emotionally and mentally is not the way! I had high hopes that June was a good guy, I was so wrong! June should take time out and learn herself before jumping into another relationship! Can’t wait to read part two!
This book was off the chain it was full of drama, sex, lies, & a bunch of bullshit...at the beginning of the book I thought Tae was going to be the one with all the drama but it ended up being Jasmine...through out the book jasmine was starting to piss me off cuz it seem like she wasn't seeing the type of guy Tarrell was he truly did her wrong in the worst way...then she meet June which was no better then Tarrell actually he was hella worst lol...then after awhile I started feeling bad for her cuz it seemed as if she couldn't catch a break...I don't wanna give away to much about the book but I will say I enjoyed every minute of it..Sasha is an awesome writer I have read and love all her books and she is definitely one of my most FAVORITE authors...
I felt this book, What Bae Don't Know, was a good drama filled story. A great job was done showing how the character Jasmine allowed herself to be easily manipulated & experience unnecessary changes in her life not once but twice. This story was another great read by Sasha Ravae that kept my attention throughout & I recommend to all.
I liked this but I didn't love it. Jasmine wanted love so bad but she always came up short. It's like no matter what these ninjas did to her she was running back. She was so naive yet she kept an opinion on everyone else. June had too much drama and Rell was just a dog. But to some women a piece of a man is better than no man. I wasn't thrilled with the ending but I'll pick up part 2
OVERALL I LOVED THE BOOK IT BECAUSE IT WAS DIFFERENT NOT STREETS BASED BUT REAL LYFE ISSUES FOR SOME ... I'M VERY HAPPY FOR TAE ... JAS NEED TO FIND JACKSON ASAP ... JUNE WAS THE MAN AT 1ST ... TERRAL WILL FOREVER BE IN LAST PLACE TO ME ...
This a good book on how not to be in an abusive relationship. Each of the female characters accepted this treatment as normal. From the Mom, sister & brother (jailbirds) to Jasmine's slow spiral into their world.
Poor Jasmine just can't get a break. Although I got lost a few times in this book. It actually turned out to be a pretty good book. I will definitely be purchasing part 2 to see how this series end.
