I liked this book. It was really good. I liked the part when they walked by someone from Claire's school and he said there was a ghost in his house and told Clarie to come over to his house after school. I also liked the part where they see their grandparents. I didn't like the part when their family said that they couldn't live in the library because of Becket. I liked the part where Claire runs away from Kaz's family. I also liked the part where Kaz and little Jon look for the ghost. It was funny when all the people in the house got scared and said that the house was haunted. It was also funny when Elie told claire and said that the ghost was back when it was Kaz and little Little Jon And he told claire to come back and find it and kaz talked on the phone and she said she-cant come to tonight because it was 9;00 because that was her bedtime and the next day I liked this part Kaz and little Jon looked at the bed with a prank book and then they found the ghost and the ghost was Finn Kaz and little Jons big brother and Clarie came and was happy because there mom said they can live in the library. and the mom told Kaz and little Jon and Finn what happened when their mom was little. this is why I loved this book it was so funny and good and had some bad parts.

Eleanor says: They found their brother Finn. This book was good because I like the happy ending. The happy ending was great because now the whole family was back together, but there’s a part of the family that we might not know about yet. It might be another family member that Finn met but he didn’t know it was his uncle.

Clair takes Kaz, Little John, his parents and their dog, to the old folks home to see their grandparents. On the way they see Eli (from book 2) who calls out the window that their is a ghost in his house, but his mom comes home and says that he is grounded because he is pretending to be a ghost to scare off potential buyers (their house is up for sale and Eli doesn't want to move). So Clair goes on to the old folks home. Kaz is scared by the parrot and glows by mistake. Then his grandparents go back with all of them to the library and all of them yell at Beckett since apparently long ago he lived with the family and scared off Kaz's uncle by glowing red. The adult ghosts insist that Kaz and Little John can't stay at the library, so Kaz and Little John run away with Claire to school and then go to investigate the ghost at Eli's house. At first it looks like Eli is pulling a prank, there is a book on his bed on how to do it. But in the end, little John suggests there is a ghost hiding from them and he suggests having the ghost find them. So he announces that they will now hide and who turns up but their long lost brother Finn. Finn and the boy ghosts head back to the library with Claire.

I love these books and maybe its because we took a break for awhile but this one felt like one of the best. In this book, Kaz, Little John and his parents aren't really agreeing about things. Kaz and Little John want the family to stay at the library while the parents want them to go to the nursing home with the grandparents. Simultaneously, the ornery real life boy named Eli is asking Claire for help with finding a ghost in his house. Long story short, they end up finding the last family member, Finn (the biggest brother) and finding out the reason the mom and Beckett don't get along. When they were kids, Beckett got blown into the haunt that the mom and her family lived in. Beckett glows red instead of blue like everyone else and the brother was so shocked he backed into a wall and blew outside and was never seen again. The brother's name was Dave and Finn thinks he knows where he is, so I'm guessing thats where the next book goes. However, this one end with the parents, all 3 boys and Beckett living happily in the library.

This was a really great read. It was fun, interesting, a little twisty and I enjoyed it very much. Being as this is for the younger audience it didn't take me long to read. But the characters are great, the plot was interesting, this was written well and I definitely want to read more. Good for a quick relaxing read that puts a little wrinkle in your brow, then a smile on your face. Enjoy!

Cute

A fun short mystery for young readers that is engaging and surrounds a family of ghosts and their friend Claire. In this one we discover what happened to the last missing family member, Finn the eldest brother, and we get to know a fellow ghost, who also haunts the library where Claire lives with her family, a bit better.

This book is recommended for kids who loves to read fun and funny horror story because this book had a lot of scene that is interesting but also kept it mysterious at the same time. This book taught me a lot about teamwork and the fun of exploring new things.

I'm reading this series with my 7 year old daughter, and we both really like it. They do end in cliffhangers, so be sure you have access to the whole series, and read them in order.

With all the usual fun and cliffhangers, Claire and Kaz are searching a neighbor's house for a ghost. The parents are convinced that their son, Eli, is acting up because he doesn't want to move. Little John is convinced that Eli's sister is framing him, but of course Claire and Kaz are on the case and in search of the truth.
Awesomesauce: although the lead on this book says it's the last one, it ends with a cliffhanger about a long lost Uncle Dave, officially giving way to book 9: The Ghost in the Movie Theater.

Another fun installment. Can't believe we are getting close to the end of this series. I have loved C&K detectives at work.

Another awesome book from the series. I loved the storyline and developments of the characters and the relationships and connections between the characters. I have a feeling there will be more books coming and I can't wait to read them. I would love to add all the books to my personal collection!

Yay! The family is back together again. The kids wanted to know why Beckett glows a different color. We have had a fun time reading this cute series together.

A fun book, but the ghost family's reason for hating Beckett was so mean and ridiculous, it just made me dislike all but the ghost kids.

Another FANTASTIC book in this series. My students and I had to read the last four chapters at one time because we were in such suspense and couldn't wait to find out what happened next.
