Created pure and innocent, the newborn angel Fae’s only crime is loving the mortal realm too much. She wants to see, to touch, to taste...and to know. All of which leads to her fall from grace when she meets the demon brothers who give her all she desires.
Cravis and Travis toy with the young angel out of boredom, but losing her awakens something inside them that they didn’t know they could still feel. While Travis begins to learn how precious a life can be, Cravis struggles with the fear of how fragile love is, not sure if he can go through it being taken from him once again.
The demons will claim the angel, but many dangers threaten the Fallen. Hunted by the Virtues and lusted after by the damned, Fae may be protected as a cherished pet. But she will soon learn she’s worth so much more.
Tell you about me? Hmm, well there's not much to say. I love hockey and cars and my kids…not in that order of course! Lol! When I'm not writing—which isn't often—I'm usually watching a game or a car show while working on promo. Going out with my kids is my only down time. I get to clear my head and forget everything.
As for when and why I first started writing, I guess I thought I'd get extra cookies if I was quiet for awhile—that's how young I was. I used to bring my grandmother barely legible pages filled with tales of evil unicorns. She told me then that I would be a famous author.
What is it like to never have touched or been touched? To never have had tasted the pleasures of the world? Feel the juice from a ripe piece of fruit trickle down your chin as you savor its flavor? Experience euphoria as a lover worships your body? What if you have never experienced the kind of pleasure that comes with a bit of pain?
Would you go mad?
And if you were denied all of those things, only to experience them all at once, would you not also go mad?
Bianca Sommerland delves into this possibility with Celestial Pets: Evil’s Embrace. Everything about this story is enchanting, intriguing, and unique. With its paranormal/fantasy elements, its sensual BDSM theme, and alluring characters, I found that Fae’s story not only captivated me, but held me hostage until the very end. What I wouldn’t do to get into the mind of this author. Her imagination with this story took me by surprise, giving me something totally different from what I’m used to with a paranormal read.
Sommerland transports us to a sensual world, where one newborn angel is thrust into a world she has craved from afar, experiencing sensations and pleasures she has never known. One would ask one question from her.
Was it worth it?
Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride
Let the sinning begin!
I enjoyed getting pulled into this story. I loved reading something different from this author. Ms. Sommerland always blows me away with her decadent story telling, always leaving me and my emotions in a big puddle of feels. Whether it’s a dominating, alpha male hockey player, or sexy demon brothers with a healthy sexual appetite, this author knows just what it takes to keep me wrapped around her little finger.

After having no idea what to expect when I started this book, I absolutely loved it, stayed up way too late reading it, and am anxious for more!!!!
We have angels, demons, fallen and everything in-between, but they aren't the main draw, the story here is just amazing. The connections that are made between 'people', what is hidden below the surfaces, the suffering for the perfect and imperfect, and how sometimes none of that matters.
Fae has to be one of my favourite heroines of all time, and it is easy to see why everyone she meets, or knows about her, falls for her so deeply. Without even meaning to, emotional bonds are made with her, maybe because she sees everyone for who they are, not what they are
This was a ride of a lifetime, and these characters and this world have so much more to tell us, I can't wait!
When new guardian angels are formed there are others that teach them the rules and others that watch over them to make sure they follow them. The Morning Star is interested in one new angel, and goes to her upon her creation. He tells her "take what she is given, then take more." Fae does not realize this is the Snake, Lucifer, offering her temptation. The angels tasked with striking down the Fallen (angels who break the rules) already suspect she may fall. One of the Virtues is sadistic, which is interesting since he can mask his gluttony for killing and not fall himself.
Fae begins her work as an angel when two of the original demons, Travis and Cravis, set their sights on her. She is so naive she is easily manipulated by them. They cause her fall from grace. The Fallen are hunted by the Virtues to be destroyed and hunted by the demons to be turned into a spawn of Lucifer. Cravis is awful to her, and sadistic in wanting to keep her as a pet, willing and submissive, but Fae wants more in life.
I liked the plot twists that Azrael, the angel of death, neither good nor bad, takes to protecting Fae. He cannot be seen as choosing a side, but there are some who suspect he is shielding her.
There is a lot going on here in terms or s€x and the different partners. We have Fae with Travis and Cravis at the beginning, taking her innocence. She is submissive and allows the men to hasten her fall. There is the double standard that she will only sleep with them, but she finds them fu€k¡ng the waitresses at the club, the sin of jealousy rears it ugly head. She sneaks out and ends up hooking up with another Fallen, a woman named Andrais, and the demon Asmodeus. Asmodeus is trouble, and the men not only have to protect her from him, but from the sadistic Virtue warrior who is after her. She gets some girl on girl with Andrais, and some Mff with Asmodeus. There is also a group ○rgy at one point. The author really went all out to show how the demons/Fallen engaged in the excesses of lust. There were a few fade to black scenes I really would have liked details of between Fae and her two demons.
I liked that the happy ending wasn't an easy one. Cravis became more humble as he and many others had to make sacrifices to ensure Fae's safety.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book since I bought it without reading the blurb because I love the author's other work, but I must say, I really enjoyed it. I did find it confusing at first because like I said, I had no idea what the story was about, but I soon caught on to what was going on, and I loved it. I could have kept reading about these characters.
I really loved this world of angels, fallen angels, and demons. It started a little slow but I got completely sucked into it and by the end, I was sad to see it end. I would love to see more about this world and there were a lot of others that I would love to read more about as well as Cravis, Travis, and Fae.
There were many facets to this world of angels and demons but it wasn’t loaded down with details simply explaining it to you, it was written so you figured out the world you were in as you read the story. I really liked that because sometimes too much detail takes away from a story for me.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about Cravis and Travis at first, I mean that little thing after their first time with Fae wasn’t giving me high hopes. Fae was very naïve in the beginning but not so much that she didn’t stand up for herself the only way she could at this point. She really was clueless of how to survive in this new world she was thrown into but she knew what she truly wanted out of her new life. Fae got some hard earned lessons before going back to Cravis and Travis, but she got an even harder one when she came back to them. I was loving Travis, Cravis not so much at that moment. But they both truly redeemed themselves in this story and I felt so much for them. I was so upset about Cravis towards the end and it hurt knowing what he did for them, it turned out to be the ultimate sacrifice but it was so worth it.
I really loved the characters in this story, well some not so much, but most of them. I really can’t say too much more without giving things away so I’ll just say that I loved these demons and Fae, and that I truly would love to see more out of this world. There were several side characters that I absolutely fell in love with for their sacrifices for these three, I hope to see them all again.
This was a FANTASTIC book! I normally don't read any erotic romance with demons, aliens, etc., but I read the description when I was checking to see what Bianca Sommerland had coming out, seeing as how she is one of my favorite authors. I decided to read the sample and became hooked! I decided to buy it and can say that it was well worth it! I couldn't put the book down and could see the story as it happened as the descriptions were so vivid and well written! I also loved that it included some bondage, different types of relationships, even if they were short, and a view of religion that could make sense. Keep it up Bianca! PLEASE!!!!
I'm not very well read with Angels, Fallen and Demons but this really gave me everything I need in a story. It was difficult for me to differentiate between characters in the beginning but once everything started to unfold and build, I caught on quick and couldn't put it down.
I even shed some tears for them!
"You're worth any sacrifice I have to make."
ohhhhh be still my heart.
Seriously this story gave me a bit of everything I needed. I need a little dark and depravity. I need to really connect with the H & h and in this case, I really fell in love with Cravis, Travis and Fae..My heart..whew..
