With REDISCOVERING RAINE, LG O'Connor accomplished a feat seldom seen: I hadn’t read book 1, Caught Up in RAINE (silly me!), and within a few pages, I was emotionally involved with the story of two people I was just meeting. REDISCOVERING RAINE takes place four months after CUIR; Raine received a card from Brigitte, Jillian’s agent: Jillian is holding a book signing and obviously Brigitte wants Jillian and Raine to get back together after he left Jillian. Immediately, I felt Raine’s undying love for Jillian.

I can hardly imagine how readers who have read Caught Up in RAINE will feel, as I was choking up without having read the first book, although I had read the blurb and I had some idea, but now I feel I missed a truly epic love story. And bear in mind, REDISCOVERING RAINE is a very short story! I wish it could have been a tad longer though, maybe five or ten pages more, but nevertheless Ms. O’connor managed in those few pages to make me forget a few recent reads that left a bitter taste in my mouth. The writing is gorgeous; it’s a beautifully touching story that warms the heart and gives you hope. I am truly in awe of Ms. O’connor who could make me feel so much in just a few pages. REDISCOVERING RAINE is definitely well worth reading, and more is coming our way!


Rather than change my review, I thought to merely add the following: I have now read CAUGHT UP IN RAINE, the first book, and contrary to what I thought, it did not end on the cliffhanger I had expected; REDISCOVERING RAINE consists of scenes that were not in book 1, and that fit beautifully and explain things more in detail. I highly recommend REDISCOVERING RAINE, if only to give you a taste, and I'm positive that, like me, you will want to read the wonderful CAUGHT UP IN RAINE.

Rediscovering Raine: A Caught Up in RAINE Novelette can be best described as deleted scenes from Caught Up In RAINE. It gives you a better insight into some episodes in the book and it will also emotionally drain you from page one, word one. I'm pretty sure I cried thru 99.9% of this very short read. And I loved every minute of it!

Rediscoving Raine is the second in this series , it's a short fast story. Can be read in a couple hours but took me two days because of work and someone forgot to plug in ereader. Lol. But I didn't read first book but that is going to change. From the first page I was swept up into the story. Raine and Jillion are a couple who need to be together. When he sees her after a few months apart they both know what true love is. Can't wait to see what happens in their next chapter of their lives. #BOC REVIEW TEAM

Having read Caught Up in Raine, I was elated when I was offered the opportunity to read Rediscovering. Of course, I grabbed it with both hands and needless to say, did not have the patience to wait. Patience is a virtue and all, but I really wanted to read what happens after Caught Up in Raine and I was really waiting for the Novelette. It is short and very quick read but was sweet and satisfying.

Rediscovering Raine starts with Raine's POV - meeting Jillian again at the book signing. Rediscovering Raine is about the heartwarming reunion and a romantic proposal by Raine. Though short, Rediscovering Raine gives us a glimpse into the minds of our favorite characters - both have insecurities but trust the love they have for each other, which was nice to see. I can't wait for their journey through pregnancy in Caught Up in Rachel. This one left me with tears of joy! Wonderful read.

This was a great read. Quick, but great. You'll get a little bit of closure from the devastating ending of Caught Up in Raine. Because, hey, everyone needs a HEA....
Make sure to keep your hanky handy, because this is about as emotional as a pregnant woman.... just saying.

Having read Caught Up In Raine, it was fun to read this novella that is essentially and missing bonus section of the novel. It was entertaining to get to see more of the conflict resolution, and it made you look forward to their future.

Rediscovering Raine fills in some of the fine points of the reunion of the main characters from the wonderful story Caught Up In Raine. This meaningful novella takes readers through the process of the hero and heroine's impassioned reconciliation. L.G. O'Connor has managed to create a loving and thoughtful relationship with her gift of storytelling in books 1 and 1.1 in her Caught Up In Love series. Torn apart by misguided good intentions some things are meant to be so when obstacles are removed and love prevails fans of this series will be caught up in the emotions of this writer's genuine story.

This is a little glimpse into the reconnection and marriage proposal between Jillian and Raine. It is sweet, teary, and hot. I enjoyed Caught up in Raine and this was a nice reminder of why I liked that book. I recommend this novella.

This is a great little novella that lets you discover Jillian and Raine all over again. I loved the first book in this series and loved even more that I had this quick book to give me another taste of this great couple. I hope that we get to see a lot more of them. Great job.

"Age Does Not Deny Love"

This novelette explains the renewed relationship between Jillian and Raine. They reconnect when Jillian's book is at a bookstore ... and Jillian is there signing copies. Oh, and Jillian is pregnant and is looking forward to having a daughter. Raine, without a doubt wants to marry her. This novelette explains the final bonding forever for Jillian and Raine ... and baby Rachel. Loved this real love story. L.G. O'Connor is a fantastic author! Read the whole series.
