BREAKING LOVE (FULL HEARTS BOOK 2)
Luc Chevalier is a satisfied man – or so he thinks. His businesses are thriving, he has all the excitement, money and beautiful women any man could want. He dines at the best restaurants and stays at the most luxurious hotels as he makes his way around the globe. So why does he suddenly find himself so restless?
Megan Sullivan is a single mom with a rather ordinary life. She is comfortable with things just the way they are. She has a six-year-old son, Elliott, a cozy house in Boulder, Colorado, and a photography business to put food on the table. Her ex lives hours away in Florida, providing enough space for him to feed his drug addiction without exposing Elliott to his father's illness. Megan is on her own, and she intends to keep it that way.
Megan is convinced by her best friend to take a trip to Paris for a few days. Little does she know she is about to be thrust into the arms of Luc Chevalier, the sexiest man to ever set foot on the Eiffel Tower. They agree to one night together and no more. In those few short hours, he manages to draw out the passionate woman that Megan has carefully hidden away for years. Once she has a taste of what she's been missing, she finds it almost impossible to go back to her life as it was.
Will two people who don't believe in happily-ever-after
manage to put aside their doubts and find their forever?
Join Luc as he discovers that everything he never wanted is
the only thing he will ever need.

BREAKING CLEAR (FULL HEARTS BOOK 3)

Break in Two, this author's debut novel, was my favorite book of the bunch and I could easily give it five stars. It tells the tale of Claire Hatley and Cole Mitchell and it was sexy as hell!

Claire's four-year relationship with Antonio went up in smoke when she found out he was cheating. Left with no home (their house was actually his) and wanting a fresh start, she applies for a job in another state and takes off. From her first glance at her new boss, despite nursing her wounds, she knows she's in trouble. He was gorgeous! Cole knew better than to get involved with someone at work, but he couldn't help himself. Claire was everything he knew he wanted and their relationship was inevitable. There was tons of instalove and instalust in the air and these two fell hard. But a blast from Cole's past mucks everything up and you'll have to read the story to find out what happens next. I will tell you that the author delivered a sweet happy ending!

Each book of this series can be read as a standalone, but I do believe that the experience would be so much better if you read the books in order. Each subsequent book tells the story of a character introduced in the previous one and the author gives a bit of insight into who they are before you officially meet them. MJ Summers is a new-to-me author and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed her stories. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves their romance with a bit of angst and lots of hot sex!

5 Series Stars

I was graced with reading these books each by the author and then went back and read them as they began. Each book will have you gasping so much that you will not know what has hit you. Each character brings so much love to the table with a hint of spice that will have you screaming.

I have loved this authors works from the first and will continue to do so in with future books. She is an inspiration to us all.

Great Summer time read or cuddly read.

Happy Sexy Reading

This review is for the first book only; I will not be reading the rest.

One of the laziest and most formulaic romances I've read in the last year, and right down there with the most boring romances I've ever read.

Claire's only personality is that she hates her ex--he's actually given more development than she is, in the early chapters, so we can get the full picture of just what a sleazebag he is and how much better off she'll be without him, but that comes at the definite cost of giving her page-time to have any traits of her own. She owns a lot of clothes, but even that is less about her being a clothes horse or a shopaholic, and more a setup for Cole to accidentally see her underthings, more than once.

Cole starts out with the thin character type "sexy cowboy," to which is added, half-heartedly, "small business owner trying to make things work." His business-owner chops are immediately undercut by how insanely unprofessional he acts around Claire, both in terms of flirting/sexual harassment and anger management issues. The first time these two idiots "fight" they're actual just throwing childish temper tantrums at each other, and I thought, wait, are these people adults? Have they ever had jobs before?

Add to that some poorly-thought out plot points--like Claire's ex's affair being exposed by a phone-answering mix-up, when it's established that Claire has her own cell phone so why would the side piece think the dude is calling when it was Claire, her coworker? They wouldn't have the same phone number? Caller ID is a thing? It's completely preposterous?

Oh, and the sex is rushed to, not particularly interesting, and completely eclipses the development of any emotional attachment actually forming between Cole and Claire.

Loved this entire boxed set!

It's easy to forget that those who are wealthy, those who are career driven, and those who fall from grace, have one thing in common....fear. They all fear love, hurt and the unknown. MJ Summers has done a marvelous job blending characters and their stories for each book. By doing so, MJ has reminded us that regardless of our backgrounds or our current situations, we are all the same deep within. HAPPY READING EVERYONE!!

I thought this was a solid 4.5 stars. Each story has a different story line that I found interesting and engaging. They're just long enough to keep me entertained and satisfied. There were some steamy hot scenes, and the build-up was done well. There are more stories after this series, and I would love to read them. I thoroughly enjoyed this set.

Too much drama

If you like drama, this is the book for you. I personally don’t like it. I got 4 free books but will not be reading the other 3.
I gave it a 3 because the sex scenes were great and I did laugh. I don’t want to give anything away but I do want to say that some of the things that started the drama were just goofy.

You will need a case of Kleenex

This series was drama from the first. Such human love stories that make you believe in love forever after as in fairy tales. Written in such a way to make you believe. You will have a hard time putting these books down.

Wow. Every story was strong, filled with angst and characters you cared about. The writing was great and the editing awesome. I personally enjoyed the first book the most and could not imagine being in this situation. Each story was riveting and you simply had to proceed. The way the stories intertwined added to their value for me.

Highly recommended.

Must Read Series!!!

I loved all of these books, I read each of them individually as they were released and these are my combined reviews…

Break in Two – Holy Hot Cowboy!

This was a great story! It had the sexy cowboy and no cliffhanger --what more can you ask for.....lol. Seriously, I really enjoyed reading Claire and Cole's story. Great job Ms. Summers!

Breaking Love -- Holy Sexy Frenchman!!!!

I first read Break in Two a long while ago and unfortunately for me, I kinda forgot about this awesome series -- I know, right?! what was I thinking!!! Well a couple months ago I was given the opportunity to read Breaking Hearts and fell totally and completely in love with Trey and it reminded me what I was missing!!!! So now I am making my way through the rest of this series and loving every freaking minute of it!!!

Let’s talk about the sexier than sexy, Luc Chevalier for a moment shall we?! Because of him I have a new-found love for over the top hot Frenchmen with a delicious accent! Add to his good looks the fact that Luc is such a romantic, funny and caring man and well hell what more could a girl ask for?! Luc tries to convince himself and anyone that will listen that love and marriage are a colossal waste of time and questions why anybody in their right mind would want to be tied down to another person. Then comes along Megan who quite literally falls into his arms and runs his theory over like a damn freight train!!!!

And Megan, well I have a lot of love for Megan’s character! She was incredible, the way she handled the shitty hand her ex dealt her and just moves on and makes the most out of her life for the sake of her little boy. I really respected the way she went about things even if I did want to slap her upside the head a couple of times ☺ Man, is she a stubborn woman lol…..

I love the way these two were brought together and the way their story unfolds throughout the book. I laughed, got angry, was disappointed, swooned, thought my ipad might catch fire (yeah this is a super HOTT read – did I forget to mention that before?!) …. Ya know, all the feels you are suppose to have with a great read!!!! Thanks again MJ Summers….. I can’t wait to read Harper’s story!!!!

Breaking Clear -- I want Evan Donovan to build my future!!!!

From the moment Harper Young’s character was introduced in Breaking Love (Book 2 in this series, which if you have yet to read it, hop on that sucker right away as it contains a sexier than sexy Frenchman) I knew I wanted her story! She is funny as hell and oh my god so damn feisty!!!!

Harper has had a crush on Evan Donovan since she was a young girl, but of course she never acted on it. She moves away and has a fast paced job in the “Big City” at Style Magazine, which is what she has always wanted. Due to unfortunate circumstances she is called back home to Boulder, Colorado. Imagine her surprise when she realizes “Evan from Heaven” has bought his parents house and is back to living next door. The way these two come back into each other’s life is truly laugh out loud funny!

Evan Donovan had it all and then he didn’t…… He is still the same guy he always has been except now he is totally bitter about love and marriage. I loved Evan’s character so very much because he was just an average guy who worked hard and earned the good fortune that came his way. That being said there were a few moments that I truly wanted to throat punch him! Geez Louise! what a truly stupid man he was, which just made his character that much more believable lol….. it would have been a throat punch filled with love ☺

Since both of these characters suffer from an extreme case of commitment phobia, Ms. Summers definitely had her work cut out for herself in bringing us to our HEA…. She pulls it off though with a fabulous story, some real funny moments, some heartbreaking moments and a cast of characters you just can’t help but fall completely in love with.

BREAK IN TWO (FULL HEARTS BOOK 1)
I am in love with Cole! This book was amazing! The characters are so realistic. I can imagine the things in the book really happening. Cole and Claire go through some real struggles and it's great to see how they deal with them. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!

BREAKING LOVE (FULL HEARTS BOOK 2)
OMG! This is one of the best books I have read in a very long time. It will make your heart flutter one minute and cry like a baby the next. Luc and Megan are so realistic and relatable. I think you will hate Simone as much as I do. She is such a harpy.

Luc was one of my favorite characters in Break In Two. I was thrilled to see him get his own book. Luc’s story is a little sad because he thinks there is no settling down and family for him. Then Meagan comes in and messes up everything.

Megan is your typical single mom who has been seriously burned. She is a little unsure about men after that…until she meets Luc. Their chemistry is electric. One night of passion could lock them together for ever…or could it? Grab a couple tissue before you start reading.

BREAKING CLEAR (FULL HEARTS BOOK 3)
Yet again MJ Summers has written an amazing story. I love stories where young love finally gets its chance to blossom years later. Not only do we get to meet Evan and learn more about Harper, but we get to see more of Megan and Luc! Evan and Harper have both been dealt some pretty crappy cards. Harper must choose between family and a career that she loves. Evan's been burned by love and is a little gun shy. Can they keep it just friends when they meet again? This has been a wonderful series and a pleasure to read!

This author does a great job bringing emotions to the fore front, while stressing the importance of honesty, trust, openess, selfworth, and simply loving ones self. I also liked how she incorporates the characters from one storyline to the next.

This box set was written with great plotlines. I liked the way that all the stories connected and the best was Megan and Luc with the world wide romance. I recommend this box set to everyone that is a heckler for good romance.
