In this novella "prequel" to the Connor Falls Christmas Romance Series, Luke Hollis' mind is set on business only, until his young and troubled daughter runs away from home and ends up in the bookstore of Allie Roberts. Allie has good cause to remember Luke--even more reason to avoid him as far as she is concerned--but little Lyddie is determined to bring the independent and solitary Allie into her and her father's lives, despite the busy holiday season and Luke and Allie's preoccupation with everything but the promise of friendship found.

Sweet Quick Read
Perfect for a winter afternoon when curling up with a feel good story and a cup of hot coffee makes the world a perfect place. This story evokes those feelings long left in the past, but never really forgotten. Thanks for a good read, Robin.

Here's an excellent example of solid storytelling in novella-length fiction. I’d recommend it to romance readers who'd enjoy a quick Christmas read with warmth, deep emotion, and memorable light.
