This book wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be. I expected to move from a focus on Evalle to Tzader and his quest to reunite with his lady love, Brina. And while that story was there, it wasn’t quite in the framework I wanted. These books have never been romances, but they have centered on great, complex characters, intricate plots, and a romantic thread. I loved Storm and Evalle’s slow burn, but Tzader and Brina’s story here just didn’t make me feel anything. Maybe it was because they were already in love. Maybe it was because we’ve really seen so little of Brina’s character –and that’s not really remedied here. But mostly, I think it was because this book focused all on the mission and not the emotion.
I feel like I should point out this book got lots of great reviews by other readers. And all of our core characters are back. In fact, this was most assuredly not Tzader’s book. Evalle is just central as ever. I guess it’s an ensemble piece, which for me, made it lack an emotional center, even though it had a central plot.
Basically, the events of the last book have left Brina with no memory of Tzader or any other parts of her life. She only knows him in their shared dreams and even that is starting to fade. But a powerful warrior approaches Tzader in the dream world, offering him a deal to save her. Tzader must steal the throne from the Medb queen and free the trapped dragon inside. In return, that dragon will return Brina’s memories and save the group from Macha’s reprisals.
The mission is a difficult one and requires the aid of Adrianna, Tristan, and others we’ve met along the way. All of the characters are back –or at least get a mention– but it felt like there were a lot of new names and faces too… characters with backstory I had no recollection of. It made me wonder why they were stuffed in there… to add depth to the world or for spinoffs? Either way, they didn’t add anything to the story.
I feel like we’ve wandered so far from where we started, and so many threads are just hanging. Like Quinn archasnd his dead baby-mama who I’m sure will end up alive again. I’m sure that’s going to come back around at some point, but I just don’t care anymore. Storm and Evalle are happy, which is great, but there is no more oomph. And I need that pull, if not from them, than from another couple. This whole thing was pretty meh for me. The pacing was uneven, too, and it just felt long.
I don’t know that I will continue with this series, which is a shame, because at one point, I thought it was pretty awesome.
Yeah, I just loved this book! It was so great and enjoyable and so much happened and that ending, oh! I can't wait for January for the next book, the wait is going to be awful!
They finally grow a spine and went against the manipulative bitch goddess, Mocha. There is a new powerful player taking over the Belador, the island and the gryphons... basically getting back what belonged to him to begin with. The next book shall be very interesting since it is his book, Dragon King of Treoir.
The seventh Belador story begins with a battle, and the many beloved characters in this series are either troubled by emotional complications or find themselves in a dangerous situation on every compelling page. Dianna Love totally captures my full attention with vivid descriptions and constant originality, and the paranormal world to which I am transported comes across as particularly believable. With the large number of characters in the series that I have come to really like, I immediately became involved in the latest personal story being told. Since Tzader Burke may finally get to have the future he has long desired or will lose everything important to him, I was eager to find out what he would have to face, and Dianna Love did not disappoint me. Every emotional conflict in ROGUE BELADOR captivates with deeply affecting realism.
Her position as the Belador queen means Brina is a very significant individual, and she has been under special protection for years. But an enemy’s attack has caused her mind to deteriorate and soon no personal facts will be remembered, causing the man in love with her much worry. Though some only care because of her heritage, Tzader Burke wishes for Brina to be his mate and is willing to do whatever is necessary to make it happen. As time passes with no improvement, he makes a deal that might bring back her memories, but it could come at a great cost to him.
By going to TÅμr Medb and doing the bidding of a being that seems to possess much knowledge, Tzader could possibly get the solution to saving Brina. Yet traveling to the place where the Belador enemy lives is not only dangerous for him, but could be fuel for a new war. As plans are made and answers are sought, hidden truths are discovered about the Beladors and Medb. Tzader receives the unexpected assistance of several close friends, and they each find it hard to obey the vows they have sworn to follow as secrets are exposed.
When it comes to urban fantasy stories, Dianna Love is a master. What takes place in the Belador series is frequently innovative, and the circumstances in the seventh book are sometimes perilous and always emotional. The traits assigned to each of the characters are certainly unique, and I was delighted by how many of the individuals I have come to love that were featured. I really want Casper to have a big part in an upcoming book, as someone with ghost traits fascinates me.
Evalle and her mate Storm plus Quinn all play major parts in ROGUE BELADOR, and it was great catching up with the events in their lives. But the major focus is on Tzader and what will happen to Brina. I have watched these two suffer throughout much of the series, and my heart ached for them each time another difficulty kept them apart. Their story is about not giving up hope, and it was heartwarming to also see the importance of friendship. One new character is definitely intriguing, while several of those who have been met before and only have evil objectives are once again up to their ruthless tricks. I never knew what would be the end result of more than one power struggle, as some abilities came as a surprise. Ms. Love has also created a new interesting creature, and I hope to see more of Oskar in a forthcoming book. ROGUE BELADOR has riveting action, profound emotions and unforeseen twists.

Outstanding book, this series just gets better and better! I think that this book is one of my favourites of the series as there is so much action and intrigue. We get a few problems solved and solutions are found but as always love and peace are an hard battle and they never come easy, so they find themselves with many new challenges as secrets are revealed and new characters appear to either help or hinder in their quest to stop war from happening. What I love so much about this series is the toxic mix of all things paranormal from Witches to Shifters and God's and Goddesses and even Grady the ghost, they all play a significant role in the way that the story plays out, some for good reasons and some for bad with only their own agenda spurring them on. Looking forward to see where the story will take us next and to see what will happen now that the game plan has changed for Evalle and with the battle of wills to gain freedom for all. Dianna Love you rock! Your storytelling gets better with every new book.
I received this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
This series is phenomenal, and I don't know how Dianna Love does it, but each book seems to take everything to the next level. Looking back on the series, it is unbelievable how far the characters, and the Belador world have come. This book was one of my favorites because it brought in a lot of new stuff. Dianna's exciting story lines, unique world-building, and magical way with details sets the bar for what I expect in a fantastic read. I love that this book involved so many of the characters, and changed a lot of things around. It kept it very fast paced and thrilling, and I am very curious to see where we go from here. While you can read this book on it's own, I recommend you take the time to check out the others as well. The way everything flows, connects, and evolves throughout the series is amazing. I highly doubt you would regret it. I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
This one was a lot better than the last couple of ones. It definitely picked up at the end, the first 100 pages or so though were a bit tough. It has moved away from Evalle and is now more about the group don't get me wrong she is still there and a major part but I like hearing about the other friends. I almost let this series become one that I just give up and wasn't going to finish especially after Sherillyn Kenyon wasn't on board anymore but am glad I kept pushing through the next one is something I am looking forward to just have to wait for my library to get it back in stock. I am going to read Tristan's escape and then the dragon king which I am very interested in seeing more of that and maybe hearing the story of how Macha came into the picture I definitely want more of Carion and am glad Grendell or whatever his name is gone and is not terrorizing Lana any more. I wanted more Oskar I thought him and the gargoyle would make it as best friends maybe they still will.
I have always loved the Bella door series. This book even though Sherilyn Kenyon is not the author on this book it is still as good as the rest of the books in the series. I love the fact that a lot of the characters that were in previous books are in this book. The thing I love the most is the dragon. I love dragons. I’m glad that the goddess got what she deserved at the end of this book and that the griffins also got what they deserved at the end of this book. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
Rogue Belador (Belador #7) by Dianna Love – Review I went into Rogue Belador still nursing a few doubts about Dianna Love’s solo storytelling after Sherrilyn Kenyon stepped away—but now, those doubts are completely gone. This installment proves she’s fully in control of the world she’s building. The pacing is tight, the emotional punches hit hard, and the characters continue to grow in ways that feel real—well, real for a world full of gryphons, witches, and supernatural land wars.
Tzader’s storyline in this book really got to me. The heartbreak he’s dealing with isn’t just glossed over—it’s deep, raw, and painful, and you feel every ounce of it. His loyalty, his pain, and the way his friends rally around him only highlight the strength of the Belador bond. It’s not just about fighting dark forces—it’s about found family, and this book leans beautifully into that theme.
Storm’s house for Evalle? Literal fantasy dream home. It’s so thoughtfully designed—functional, safe, and full of warmth and love. I loved that the boys live with them, and that there’s a dedicated space for Lea. It makes their little chosen-family unit feel more tangible, more lived-in.
Also... two other apartments? You know that’s going to lead to something. I’m practically vibrating with curiosity over who’ll move in. Plot twist roommates? Mysterious allies? Maybe even a character we’ve only heard of in passing. Dianna Love doesn’t do details by accident.
Overall, Rogue Belador hit all the right notes—action, heart, and just enough foreshadowing to keep me completely hooked. If this book is any indication of where the series is heading, I’m in for the long haul. Let’s go.
More layered intrigue and warring parties than an Edwardian Court battle for power. Maeve and Macha confidently scheme to control of the Alterants, rule the Beladors and defeat the other in short order. Witches disappear as a newish player makes a bid for vengeance as Evalle fosters Oscar, a powerful witch’s familiar and Syn is gleefully drunk on power.
Macha tries to convince Brina of broodmare opportunities after banishing Tzader from the realm, including access to Brina, and searches intensify for Lana and Flavia’s grave intensify. When Tzader gets a lead to cure Brina’s memory permanently Evalle, Storm and Quinn are willing to forego their allegiance to Macha to aid him. Rating: 4.5stars
I just adore this book! Deagan becomes my favorite character! The way he bitchslaps Macha at the end is absolutely delightful. Finally, she gets a bit of what she deserves (hopefully, she'll receive more of that in the future). I love all the bickering between Adriana and Deagan. I laughed so much 🤣🤣 Tzader and Brina are finally together! Yay!!! They waited long enough, it was time! And with a baby on the way! Double yay! I can't forget, of course, my boy Storm who is adorable as always, so happy with Evalle. I agree with Lana. I want a Storm! 😍😍😍 No doubt, Rogue Belador is one of my 3 top books in the series!

This story has two plots. Both fill the reader with anxiety over the outcome. The first plot involves Tzader and Brina. Brian is still effected by noire Malik. She is losing her memory. Can Tzader save her from Macha's schemes? It takes great daring and help from his friends to do it. The second plot involves Lanna and the wizard that is trying to kidnap her. The rescue comes from a most unexpected source. I really enjoyed reading this book.
I absolutely love this series and the twists and turn that go on with the characters honestly I cant stand Macha she seems to want to weazle herself into everyones lives and I know she is a goddess but there is a line that needs to be drawn if theclan Treoir want to survive without getting muffled down with warring clans and grow like every other clan is alowed to do. Also sad to say Brina needs a smack across her face and learn that Tzader will love no one but her.
Maybe a little too much. But the Author manages to pull it off. Many aspects are satisfactorily closed; and a new, major direction takes place with a powerful new entity.
I enjoy the Heroine and her love interest in this series. The entire Gods and creatured-filled World is intriguing. There is generally a good amount of action and suspense. These books are adult reads that should be read in their proper order.
Brina's curse is quickly taking all her memories, Macha continues to manipulate the Belador's for her own best interests. The Belador crew finally take a stand and take on a mission to save Brina breaking their oaths to Macha. Lanna's tormentor is back again as well. LOTS going on, some mysteries solved but left with more questions.

Powering through this series. They changed the narrator. Not liking that at all. Especially since the new narrator pronounces a ton of words incorrectly. Which is aggravating. The series is fantastic as is this installment.
I really wish Audible could be linked up to Goodreads. It would make writing audiobook reviews much more convenient and easier.
This is an interesting concept since it takes place between realms, in other dimensions. It does keep everything going as there is so much going on and many different types of creatures. Lots of witches and warlocks. There is a lot going on in the dream world. If you don't have an imagination, don't venture in.
I am in love with this group of books Omg how it involves so many different supernatural beings-and how they have played out each story of different gods and goddesses…I have to say though Tristin is one of my Favorite characters!!!
This is my fave Belador book so far in the series. I enjoyed how smoothly it transition for one plot to another. I'm really looking forward to reading more of this series.
