Lost to the streets... lost Forever. This is the story of Chasity. Born into poverty to an "addict" mother who was eventually claimed by her addiction to drugs. Chasity is then taken in by her Grandmother the only person to ever really love Chasity like her own. But her sudden passing would leave Chasity alone, yet again. Chasity's uncle would then step forward. Offering to take her in. An arrangement that quickly dissolves when Chasity begins to blossom. As her body changes her uncle begins to see her as more than just a "niece." A repulsed Chasity refuses his advances. Which leads to him throwing her out. On her own once more Chasity meets a handsome young Hustler named Hakeem. He treats Chasity like a queen and as their relationship deepens he eventually becomes her "first." Unfortunately the law catches up with her beau and with him gone so are her means of financial support. Chasity tries her hand at stripping for awhile but her "minor" status makes it a brief stint. Again, lacking funds Chasity soon meets some new friends who introduce her to a "trafficker" named Nasty. This leads to Chasity and the gang becoming players in the Florida drug trade. A move which quickly opens a MAJOR new revenue stream for her. The new "job" is paying dividends and Chasity has gotten a taste of "the life" once more. Only this time she'll make sure it's "permanent."

Great Book

The cover to this book was everything. It made the book that much more interesting with that ole hairy chest. When I tell you Chasity had my heart because that chic went through some things at such a young age. The loss of her mother broke my heart. Then when she loss her grandmother and that uncle took her in. Somebody needed to slap some sense into Tony and abuse his tail. He was just trifling. Then when she meets Hakeem, who sees potential in her for selfish reasons, she thinks she has found love, but have she? I loved her friend, Kita, homegirl didn't play. This book will have your emotions running from happy, sad, and mad. I recommend this book to those looking for a good read.

L&TO

Chasity life was hard from the beginning. The last surviving relative that she should have been able to trust, let her down in the worst way imaginable. Hakeem only wanted to use her for his come up. Chasity
realizes" all money ain't good money "eventually, but at what price? There are some minor editing errors, but it doesn't take away from the story. Good job by Ernest Morris.

Lost & Turned Out

I really enjoyed reading about the life of Chastity. She had a good life with her grandmother that ended too quickly. Her Uncle Tony was supposed to care for her, but he was a no good nasty animal w/o needs to pay for his sins. Hakeem knew what Chastity went through but instead of helping her, he used her just like some others. Chastity turned her life completely around only to go backwards because of a scorned lover. I can't wait to see what happens in the next installment.

This book was interesting and kept me fully engaged. I really felt for Chasity because she had zero guidance. Her saving grace (her grandmother) passed away and left her in the care of her uncle ( a true villain). This sick man took advantage of his niece, during a time when she was so naïve. He robbed her of her innocence. I was relieved when she kicked out of his house, but at that moment, she was thrown to a whole different type of wolf....The hard, cold streets. The narrator takes you on a rollercoaster of friendships, relationships, sex and becoming of age. Chasity is clearly a victim from beginning to end. I don't want to say too much, but I hope the author writes a part two, because I was left wondering about the outcome of a lot of things.

I found the story of Chasity intriguing ....until her own uncle wanted to screw her. got mad and threw her out of his house knowing that she didn't have nowhere else to go because she didn't want her uncle to screw her & wanted his perverted ass to stop molesting her.
Usually, I support Errnest Morris' work but this part of the story line made me sick to my stomach.

This just wasn't as good as I would have liked it to be. I found myself disliking the majority of characters and there was still a lot of loose ends at the end. I'm not sure if I would read another book about these characters, but I might read another book by the same author.

Just OK. Typical… Young Chasity, raised by her grandmother essentially becomes an orphan when her grandmother passes away and she is forced to move in with her uncle. Uncle is a dirt bag sleazeball predator. Chasity moves in with a note boy blah blah blah don’t waste your time.

Nice read

This was a cool read. There were a couple of editing issues, but not many. I liked Chasity's character, but hated what she had to go though growing up. She couldn't even trust family. I didn't like Hakeem from the beginning, I just got a strange feeling about his character when he first showed up in the story, and I was right. Reese wasn't to be trusted either, but the saying goes, birds of a feather. Chastity stepped up to the plate , and did what she needed to do, with the help of her girls. Everything has a price, and all money ain't good money, and Chasity is finding that out. Everything has a price, and all actions have reactions and consequences. I can't wait for the next part, especially with that ending, good job.

I'm not mad.

This book was pretty decent it could've been a little more original, but it was good. I like Chastity her relationship hopping threw me for a loop because that's not how I felt she was portrayed originally. I'm curious as to what will happen now that Hakeem is coming home also how E.J. Will react to his brothers murder. Ill more than likely read the second installment if there is on

Chasity jumped off the pages and captivated me all day long. I couldn't stop reading til the end! My emotions were all over the place. This story is so relatable, you just want to keep reading, hoping that she finds what she's truly in need of -- love. It's gritty, it's edgy, yet heartfelt. I'm anticipating part 2, since her dude was coming home at the very end! Don't I wanna know WHO he's gonna do once he returns? Excellent book!!
