BABY DADDY

Rate this book
WANTED: BABY DADDY!!! A STAND-ALONE MODERN DAY FAIRY TALE.

She isn't looking for love and all that crapola women get hung up on like junkies. She just wants to get knocked up by a man who doesn't know her wicked intentions. Well, someone up there plays a joke on her. Or maybe not.
She's granted a Baby Dada...in the form of a 25-year old who's not only ILLEGALLY GORGEOUS and BADASS NICE but a BILLIONAIRE REAL-LIFE PRINCE!

You might think she'd be over the moon. Nope.
It's in fact a nightmare for hard-to-the-core cynic Stella Rhodes who has sworn on her designers her hormones are immune to the male species. Yup, even if he comes with 8-packs! Even if he's THAT guy every woman wants to kidnap and bring home to mama!
--------------------
Renowned fashion designer Stella Rhodes celebrates her 37th birthday with a reality check.
She must have a child. An heir who would inherit her billion-dollar, hard- earned clothing empire.
Now, in order to have a kid, she needs to get pregnant.
In order to get pregnant, she needs to have a Baby Dada.

So, why is she having this silly math?
You see, despite her tremendous success in her chosen career,
she lacks skill and experience in one department: Sex.
It has been so long since she’s last dated and she’s VERY rusty.
Uh-huh, capital.

But really, that’s the least of her concerns.
In order to have her wicked way with Baby Dada and acquire his genes,
she must first find THE perfect man for the job.

Oh she finds him, alright.
One look at him and she has to remind herself of her cardinal rule regarding this mission:
She wants a Baby. Just a baby. Period.
No strings. No entanglements of any kind except between the sheets.

Trouble is, Baby Dada comes not only with a body perfect for baby-manufacturing but he wants the baby, too AND the Baby Mama.

Bigger trouble is, he’s only 25
and it was never her lifelong dream to be a cougar.
Moreover, she doesn’t want to have a mega come back as
a tabloid punch line!

Eve Montelibano is an Interior Designer and a hopeless romantic. That said, she couldn't be blamed for the amount of cheese and cream you'll find in her books. She loves to write about jaded, super alpha heroes and spunky, sassy heroines.and enjoys putting them in a lot of sticky, steamy, sweaty situations. Definitely not for the fainthearted.

Her favorite authors are Jackie Collins (modern fiction) and Robert Greene (Philosophy). Her major influences in romance writing are Brenda Joyce, Linda Howard, Sandra Brown, Judith McNaught, Susan Johnson, Penelope Williamson, to name a few.

OLDER WOMAN YOUNGER MAN!

That doesn't work for me thanks.
She is 37 and self absorbed and he is 25 and too good for her by far.

Oh my gosh! Can you believe this is the first time I've read an Eve Montelibano? Freaking unbelievable! I was totes missing a lot! And I change my Christmas wish! I want a super hot athlete/legit Royal who knows how to cook and can keep up with my bitchiness like people keep up with the Kardashians. Is that too much to ask?!

I made it to 48%..Waste of time

I really tried to finish this book but it just fell flat, it started getting boring and I skipped half of what I was reading. It has a good storyline but poor execution. The heroine is annoying, the hero is too young and too perfect for his age. The only indication that it was switching point of views was the use to color in the bold heading per chapter.
I didn't enjoy it at all. Waste my time

I had high hopes for this after reading the blurb and it started off really well. Raiden is a character you can't help but love and swoon after. The disappointment for me was Stella. I liked her at first, yet as the book progressed I lost patience with her and couldn't see why Raiden persisted. She was just too mean and thoughtless for me.

This is my first read from this author and I pretty much went in blind.
I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting, but this story wasn't it.

Baby Daddy has some angst, it has a lot of sweet moments, and hot ones too. But what really got my attention was the internal dialogue. Normally I don't gravitate towards the angsty dialogue going on in characters minds, it actually turns me off. This author though has managed to take all that angst and turn it in to self deprecating little sparks of sarcasme, which to me is so freaking hilarious and so up my alley I can hardly stand it.

Now I am no 37 year old designer billionaire (wish I were) but I recognized myself in Stella. I just need to find an Aiden of my own *pæease don't tell my husband ;-)*

Just one of them feel good, modern day, fairy tale-like love story. Raiden is a modern day prince charming while Stella...well, she is your modern day cynic. Stella's sarcastic quips, dialogue with her ovaries (what?) and attempts for a comedic tone can be somewhat compared to Raiden's temperament. Soft and gentle. While the plot came full circle in the end, I'd have wished for the tone to be more in sync with the drama for more impact.

It’s been a while since I enjoyed a book so thoroughly. I laughed, I cried and the sex was hot. It was a well written masterpiece; definitely one of my favorites. Now I’m off to scope out more of the author’s work. Namaste ;)

Rich and Famous Antics for a Baby

Stella is a witch in wheels, and remains manipulative, cold, and selfish until the nicest, most understanding person she's ever met, cannot take any more of her stuff. Why don't messed-up characters with all the money available, ever go to therapy? Beyond that, the dialogue was a strange mix of colloquial conversation and awkward phrasing for rich (royal, maybe, even?) people with untold amounts of education and refinement. It didn't go together, and there were some strange tense and grammatical choices that made this a long, baffled, read. There was steam, but unless the reader can rustle up some compassion for Stella, it gets old that she continues to experience a goodness she will not acknowledge.

Eve Montelibano is a new author to me. I went into reading Baby Daddy not knowing what to expect. I loved the story and the characters and the Eve’s creativity.

This book was sexy and funny and infuriating all that the same time. Raiden won my heart hands down. He is what every woman dreams of in a man. Ella made me crazy and I wanted to smack her. Thankfully she came around in the end. The feelings of love for him and annoyance at her are what makes a good book. Eve made me feel and made the characters come to life. I feel like I could Google them both and they would be real.

The sex scenes are phenomenal. I needed a cold shower after a few of them. The characters have such an amazing chemistry that Ella is fighting off at every corner.

This book could have easily been a 5 star read for me, but the spelling of Lowd instead of Lord and Baby Dada instead of Daddy keeps me from that extra star.

I really did love Eve Montelibano’s style and would love to read more of her work in the future.

Such a Great Read

This book has humor, trust issues and love, it has two people from Completely different Worlds, but when Ella and Raiden meet sparks fly. Ella is finally taking a well deserved break from her fashion design company, but she is on a mission to find the perfect Baby Daddy. She has only has these few weeks to accomplish this mission, on the verge of giving up she sees and meets Raiden. He is everything she could dream for but never did she think he would agree to give up his swimmers for her. Raiden wasn't looking to start a family now, but being with Ellla he was smitten by her and wanting more, he never thought he would find love so fast, now he has to convince his love Ella he is more then just a donor for her baby. These two have a great connection but there age difference and Ella's pass personal relationships have harden her heart to Love. Can Raiden show her age doesn't matter that he is all she could ever want in a life partner. Such a great story.

Very good romance. A successful, billionaire, 37-year-old, fashion-designer Lady decides it is time to have a child. She has a rocky history with men, so she just wants the baby, not the daddy. The man she falls for is only 25 and has a mysterious past. I really liked both characters. I got a bit frustrated with the lady's trust issues--I don't think they dragged on too long, but they were described in to much detail too often. I also wish the hero had stood up for himself a little more forcefully a little earlier.
The scene-building descriptions of places were very good.

Oh Raiden, what can I say about him, it was instalove for me the minute I read about him! How can you not love him! A old soul, sweet, patient, loving, unselfish, handsome, OMG I can keep going and going. The love he gives to Ella, melt my heart. I'm so in love with this book. I'm a romantic fool, so this one it's A MUST READ for me!

I stopped reading on the 3rd chapter... Then a few days later, I picked this up again.

"Come inside me, make me pregnant. Make me pregnant."Urghh.. seriously? Yucky line...

Written in dual POV.

I skipped here and there. I like the story flow, the story was okay though I was hoping for it to be on the dramatic side.

Stella wants a baby.

That's all thirty seven year old Stella wants when she meets twenty five year old Raiden. She doesn't want a messy, complicated relationship that will lead to heartbreak. Raiden has other ideas. He's met the love of his life. He just has to get past the wall around her heart.

Beautiful story!

A fairy tale worth reading. The hero is beautiful with a different twists as a romantic man with a strong personality and strong confidence that is enviable. Great love story!

Very nice.

What a wonderful story.

Raiden will have you feeling all swoony the entire book. Stella will make you want to rip your hair out often, but she does redeem herself in the end. Her angst was a little frustrating at times, but not too much.

Ella was an incredibly annoying character which is why I haven't rated this book a little higher. Raiden was a delight.

I love Raiden character he's so sweet but Stella takes too long to officially accept him in her life. It's almost at the end of the story when it happens.at least it was happy ending.
