The tinsel and baubles are packed away, and the festivities are over for another year, but Hannah can’t forget the mysterious stranger who fell into her world on Christmas Day. She flings herself back into normal life in a bid to get him out of her head, which means dating other men and having fun with her sister, Gina. But just as she’s getting back on track, fate throws him into her path once more. And this time it results in far more complications than a burnt turkey.

Meanwhile, Gina, is creating problems of her own. As if a messy divorce isn’t enough, she grows closer to Ross, the local farmer’s son. Hannah knows her sister is not going to be popular when the relationship becomes public, especially with Ross’s doting parents or, indeed, Jess, Gina’s teenage daughter, who is far closer in age to Ross than Gina is herself.

Things are about to get very, very messy in Hannah’s neat little world…

Tilly Tennant was born in Dorset, the oldest of four children, but now lives in Staffordshire with a family of her own. After years of dismal and disastrous jobs, including paper plate stacking, shop girl, newspaper promotions and waitressing (she never could carry a bowl of soup without spilling a bit), she decided to indulge her passion for the written word by embarking on a degree in English and creative writing, graduating in 2009 with first class honours. She wrote her first novel in 2007 during her first summer break at university and has not stopped writing since. Review

Eeeeeek! I was very excited about 'I'm Not in Love'!!! After having read 'The Accidental Guest' I couldn't wait to see more of Hannah and her mysterious love interest! I ship them both SO hard that having the chance to review this novel was SO exciting. I couldn't wait to delve deeper in Hannah small little world and see what becomes of attraction to the “mysterious stranger”.
There was a lovely writing style coming on the behalf of the author and I greatly enjoyed the simple yet beautiful prose. I liked how the author was able to convey such a great story in such a small amount of pages. Not to mention the thoughts and feelings of her characters, too! I really admired how I was able to connect with Hannah straight away, once again, despite the fact that the previous novella, 'The Accidental Guest', was quite short, too, and didn't give us a lot of time to get to know her really deeply, even though I understood who she was as a person quite quickly.
In this novella, Hannah is trying to forget about Tom – aka the mysterious stranger/accidental guest. Ever since her discovery that Tom has a woman in his life who may just be his wife, Hannah has been trying to avoid her memories of the sparks that flew between them. But fate keeps throwing Tom – his real name still unknown – in her way. Both are struggling to keep their attraction at bay and it doesn't help that Tom’s wife Martine seems to be an ice queen who Tom doesn't want to be with but does not mention leaving.
I spotted no spelling or typing mistakes in this little advanced reading copy and so greatly enjoyed that. Grammar was superb as always! It's written in third person past tense so the novella had lots of room for the opinions of different characters and allowed for a romantic sub-plot featuring Ross, a young neighbour, and Gina, Hannah's older sister.
It was a great story to read. Full of drama and conflict; mistakes and mishaps; laughter and humour. Really on giant ball of lovely goodness. A great story to read after Christmas and New Years as it really brought out the humour of hangovers and over-eating.
There was the BIGGEST CLIFFHANGER IN THE BOOK WORLD AS WE KNOW IT! Whyyyyyyyy???!!!! Tilly Tennant always seems to do this to me/her readers! It was such a great story and then as soon as things finally start to become exciting for our couple the author cuts it off in one sentence! Argh! I have to commend the author on her talent though. If there is anybody better at cliffhangers, then it's her.
Congratulations to Tilly Tennant on yet another lovely novella published! Can't wait to read the next one!

We are back with Hannah and her story, yay!!! I’m so glad I got finally round to reading it, because I just wanted to know more about the mysterious stranger.

So Hannah is getting back into everyday life, trying to forget about Tom, which is really difficult. She starts dating again, but it just doesn’t click. Well and what happens then? Of course she sees Tom again, or should I say Mitchell! What happens after that are a lot of surprises and things I just can’t tell you. Let me just say one thing: You need to read this series!!!

We definitely learn more about Mitchell, but there is still some exciting mystery surrounding him, I just wanted to find out immediately.

Also Gina, Hannah’s sister, gets her part of the story, which gives it a nice change. It’s nice to see the two sisters together.

I really adored this part of the series, probably not as much as the first part, but it just made me so excited for part 3 and 4. Tilly just has a fabulous way with words. Her writing is passionate and fresh, with such a unique touch.

I would much prefer a proper full length book compared to these short novellas with cliff hanger endings. Kinda puts me off wanting to go for the 3rd book knowing that it will be another frustrating mini cliff hanger to make sure I buy the last book

Book 2 of a 4 part book series. Note to readers, you can either read this as a 4 part book series or there is a full length novel which includes all of the 4 parts.

This book 2, we get to get more of Hannah, Gina and Jess plus new characters Ross, George, and Briony. Although Ross was in book 1 but only had a small part to play. The character of Tom has evolved, in that we know his real name now, but there is still a lot we don’t know about him due to his mysterious memory loss.

I feel like book 2 was a little lacking in something, until the end that is, which is when things picked up quite a bit. I’m heading straight into part 3 of the story, looking forward to see how things pan out.

I couldn't just pass up the chance to be a part of the blog tour for Tilly Tennant's ONCE UPON A WINTER book series. I enjoyed reading THE ACCIDENTAL GUEST (Part I), it was a cozy read with beautiful narrations and likable characters, and the book ended with a dramatic cliffhanger, which practically allured me into picking the next book as well ;)

I'M NOT IN LOVE, the second book in the series, was published on 7th January. As the title suggests, the story centers on the protagonist, Hannah, trying to convince herself that she isn't in love with the stranger, who showed up at her doorstep on the Christmas Day. In this book, Mitchel aka TOM, who hasn't regained his memories yet, appears with his wife, Martine. We see him boldly expressing his love to Hannah, whereas Hannah doesn't wish to get involved with a married man. The second part also gives glimpses to the life of Hannah's sister, Gina, and Ross, her love interest.

Not many stories stay with me for a long time, but THE ACCIDENTAL GUEST certainly did because of its unique theme and the cliffhanger ending, which had me on tenterhooks. The eagerness to know what happens when TOM and Hannah meet again made the reading so joyful and the book quite a page-turner. The Gorgeous setting and the vivid descriptions guarantee to take you away to the protagonist world and the easy-to-read, but beautiful writing makes it easy for the readers to warm to the characters and get to know them well.

Let me also point out, Tilly Tennant has skillfully managed to give you the feeling of reading a flawless story. It's rather impressive! The story takes place a week after Christmas thus, we don't miss out any chapters from our protagonist's life. The pacing and the story-building are perfect, that you can envisage the whole story as a continuation of the first book. Saying that, let me also remind that you cannot enjoy this book as a stand-alone; read them in order to know the storyline or you will be left wondering who is who and about what the characters are nattering away.

So happy about how things turned out for Hannah and a bit worried for Gina, who has an affair with a younger man and quite taken aback with the way Mitchell proved the seriousness of his love. The story ends with an another suspense. I can't wait to pick up the next...

I'm Not in Love is book two of the Once Upon a Winter series by Tilly Tennant. The book picks up where The Accidental Guest left off. The series has four novellas in it, and it is definitely worth reading all of them.

Hannah is trying to get on with her life, but yet she just can't seem to stop thinking about the man from the accident named Tom. Tom is constantly in her thoughts, and she often wonders what has happened to him since the accident. Tom shows up again to thank her for her help, but this time he happens to be with his wife. Hannah also learns that his actual name is Mitchell, not Tom as she originally thought. Will that end her attraction to him, or will the sparks continue to fly between them even though he is married?

Also in the story is Hanna's sister Gina. Gina has her own share of problems, and is trying to move on with her life after a very messy divorce. Gina has another problem besides her divorce...she is falling for a local farmer named Ross. Normally, that would be a good thing, but Ross is a lot younger than Gina. Does she give in to the attraction she has for a man that is closer to her daughter's age than her own?

Although this is a novella, the characters are great as well as the continuing plot. There is a lot of information about the characters in the novella, but yet it doesn't feel too rushed. The book ended with unanswered questions, which will be the perfect beginning into the next novella in the series, Ways to Say Goodbye. I am looking forward to seeing how this plays out. I would definitely recommend this novella, and the entire series.

I received a digital copy of this book from Lawsome Books and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

We pick up Hannah's story just after Christmas. Her sister and niece, Gina and Jess, have returned home and Hannah is trying to get back to normality, however the mysterious Tom - whom if you remember turned up with no recollection who or where he was on Christmas Day - is still very much playing on her mind.

She throws herself into everyday life but when Tom, who we learn to know as Mitchell, arrives at her door for a second time with his wife, Hannah's thoughts and feelings are again thrown into turmoil. After Mitchell and his wife, Martine, thank Hannah for her festive help they are off and she tries to clear them from her mind and life.

The gorgeous, farmer man Ross is still very much another hero of the story as he continuously helps Hannah out and after she ends up having tea and cake with his mother, she is talked into attending a charity dance. Begging Gina back up to stay and attend with her, Hannah enjoys herself until Mitchell and Martine arrive.

The end of this part of the story is left with Hannah pondering over some very specific words exchanged from her and Mitchell...

As with book one, this was a fairy quick read, although I found the first few pages a little slow getting into - I think this was more down to the fact that a while had past since I read the first part and so I was having to remember bits before moving on.

What I love about Tilly's writing style is her ability to make you feel part of the conversation between characters - throughout the whole of I'm Not In Love, I felt like I was there listening first hand!

What I don't love so much is the fact I have to wait for the next part...Ahhh!

Once upon a winter is a follow up to the first I'm not in love... it's a good follow up but the first half is quite slow paced and only OK. however, once the story gets going and the sisters go to the ballroom only then and only then, does it puck up to the next stage of ...
what happens next.

After reading the first book I decided I had to know how it continued.
While this "series" is split into four parts, I think I would have preferred it to be only two books, if not just the one.

You really must read these books in order to get the most enjoyment from them.
In book one we were introduced to the main characters, mature sisters Hannah and Gina.
We also met Gina's sarcastic, somewhat self centered 17 year old daughter , Jess, who is determined that her parents" divorce not mess up her own social life.

Near the end of part one, we learned that injured Tom might have a wife, and cute farmer, Ross, might share the flirty feelings with Gina that Hannah fleetingly had with the stranger.
Things were only slightly tangled, soon to be futher tied into knots.

While Hannah lived in a more rural area, she does have a few neighbors and decides she should be more social. spending time with Ross's mother Briony opens up all kinds of unexpected opportunities and a few obligations. Hannah also decides to check out a dating website.
Unknown to her, Gina does the same thing!

Wait- I hear you cryng. What about all those flirty feelings at Christmas?
Was that just the winter version of a spring break fling?
How did Tom get amnesia in the first place?

Keep reading because not all answers are revealed immediately. Like peeling back the layers of an onion, details are revealed slowly. What complications and fun we have on that journey.

I did receive a copy of this book in exchange for review.

I couldn't wait to read the second instalment of this series as I loved the first part in which Hannah and her sister Gina are interrupted on Christmas Day by a handsome stranger (who they nickname Tom) after he has some sort of accident near Hannah's cottage and loses his memory!

In this second part we find out that Tom has gone back to his former life and Hannah is back to living alone, although Gina is hoping to move nearby (much to her daughter's disgust!!).

Hannah is trying to get over meeting the handsome stranger, when there is a knock on the door and guess who it is.............Tom, only we find out his real name is Mitchell.

The sisters coincidentally join an online dating agency, but when no dates materialise, they decide to go to a local dance arranged by Ross' (the local farmer) Mother. The sisters get glammed up and Gina is in her element as Ross is there and the chemistry between them is electrifying! Meanwhile, Hannah is trying to enjoy herself when who should walk in.....................

The night obviously doesn't go to plan when Gina disappears (along with Ross!!) and so, after drinking far too much, Hannah decides to walk home alone. Mitchell runs after her and can you guess what happens next! Yes they kiss! This plays havoc with Hannah's feelings as Mitchell is married to Martine!

I received this book as part of a book tour. Hannah can't stop thinking of the stranger she met on Christmas. He shows up at her house one day... with his WIFE. His real name is Mitchell. Mitchell seems miserable and his wife seems controlling. She also seems like she's hiding something about the day Mitchell lost his memory. Things with Mitchell get much more complicated further into the book. Hannah's sister, Gina, and her relationship with the younger Ross, are also a storyline in this book.

This book continued where the first one left off with the same sweet charm. I could relate with Hannah having strong feelings toward someone, but knowing it wasn't right and all the stress that comes with that. It was nice to have some sort of answers to Mitchell's situation, although there is definitely a lot more I want to know about how he ended up in the snow! I enjoyed reading about Gina and Ross's relationship as well. This book ended on a total cliffhanger, so I'm going to have to immediately read the third one!

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free for a Blog Tour in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Thank you to Debbie at Brook Cottage Books for letting me take part in this tour. I am a big fan of Tilly's writing so I couldn't wait to jump on this one.

This is set only a little while after the first book. Hannah is trying to move on from the dramas of Christmas Day and get back to normal. She needs to stop thinking about 'Tom' and get back to work. Gina and Jess are about to return home too.

In this book we find out more about 'Tom'. His real name and his life. Then there's Gina, just out of a messy divorce, is crushing on a much younger man.

This is another lovely snippet of Hannah's story, then ending had me yearning for the next book. I can't wait to get stuck into it.

I’m not in Love by Tilly Tennant
I read this book via Kindle Unlimited.
I’m Not in Love picks up after the ending to the Accidental Guest. Hannah is moving forward with life and her sister and niece are returning home. Yet she can’t stop thinking about “Tom.”
Gina, Hannah’s sister is getting divorced, yet she is falling for the younger, hot farmer, Ross. When Gina returns home Hannah and Ross create a friendship.
Ross and Hannah are talking when “Tom” pulls up out front and Hannah is faced with a twist of fate.
Will Hannah and “Tom” have a future or will his past that he can’t remember bind them both?
Tilly provides the reader a gripping story with developed characters, well written plot, twists and turns, funny dialogue and heart wrenching ending. I can’t wait to read the next book.

[ I received this book free from the publisher through NetGalley. I thank them for their generousity. In exchange, I was simply asked to write an honest review, and post it. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255 “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising]

" She felt like an autumn leaf, spinning to the ground, buffeted by whatever winds decided to snatch it from its course and hurl it who knew where. Perhaps for the first time in her life, Hannah felt powerless to influence her own course."

Sometime part way through a serial novel is not the way to start, however, once I got on board with what at first seemed a bit like a millenial Bridget Jones, I saw four characters just trying to put one foot in front of the other. Tennant is a very good writer

This book is a continuation of the Once Upon a Winter series. I'm not in Love is book number two in the series.
I loved the first book and I made sure that I got the rest of the series. These are short reads that will draw you in and make you want to read all of the books. I would recommend reading all the books at one time, otherwise you might have book withdrawal.
Christmas is over and the mysterious stranger who appeared in Hannah's life has gone. Hannah has not heard from him, but she can't help but wonder what happened to him.
Their neighbor's son Ross lives nearby and Gina, Hannah's sister is interested. Only one problem Ross is closer to Gina's daughters age than Gina's.
With love, does age matter or will age get in the way?
You will have to read the series to find out
I received a free copy of this book in return for my honest opinion.

I really enjoyed The Accidental Guest, and enjoyed this second part of the story every bit as much. Tilly has a lovely easy-to-read style, with really well done and realistic dialogue, and a talent for drawing likeable characters in situations you can clearly visualise. Hannah's sister Gina is a great character - larger than life, totally believable, very funny, and I particularly loved the alcohol-fuelled shenanigens at the charity do. I really took to Ross, so kind and gentle, and look forward to seeing how his story line with Gina moves forward. Things start to get complicated though for Hannah and her mysterious stranger - back in her life with a vengeance, and with so many unexpected complications. Again, be warned though - this isn't complete story, just part two of four, and it ends with a humdinger of a cliffhanger... thank goodness I have the other parts to read

Following on from the first in the series (The Accidental Guest) where I was left on the edge of my seat I was keen to see where Tilly would take us this time.

It was lovely to catch up with Hannah, her sister Gina and the inhabitants of the village. This time we were introduced to Ross’s mother and could there be potential for Ross and Gina to become closer? Hannah is reunited with the mysterious stranger (Tom) who she discovers is actually called Mitchell when he shows up with his wife … but it’s not all she expects.

These are fabulous short stories that envelope you into the bosom of the family. I adore the atmosphere created and so much is included in each book. Yet again it hangs on one almighty cliff-hangar so I’m excited to see what’s next.

Thanks to the author and Brook Cottage Books for the opportunity to read this in exchange for my honest opinion.

Ahhhh Tilly has done it again!. I found myself shouting out at the end Noooooooooooooooo, it cant end here!.
After loving Winter book #1 i was counting down the days for this little gem to be released and i was not disappointed. Picking up from where we left off Hannah still thinks about her mystry stramger who turned up on Christmas day. We now learn more about the life of Tom and that his real name is Mitchell. Without giving too much away there are a few surprises along the way and its great that her sister Gina is back aswell as Farmer Ross who Gina still has the hots for and Neighbour George all make an appearence.
I now have to wait for Winter #3 and i feel it will be worth the wait.
Nice work Tilly.

Hannah has not been able to forget the handsome stranger who turned up after being in an accident on Christmas day - but knows that she must move on - until he turns up again to thank her.........with his wife!

Her sister Gina needs to move on as well after her messy divorce but she is very taken with Ross the local farmer, but he is closer to her teenage daughter in age than he is to her.........so how will that go down with the rest of his and her families!

Another lovely heartwarming story in part 2 looking forward to part 3 coming out!

This is the second book in the Once Upon a Winter book. I read the first one in the series towards the end of last year so had been waiting to see what would happen. This book carried on straight away from where the last book ended and jumped straight in to the story. I love the main characters, the story and plot are great and whilst this one is shorter and novella length, so much is crammed in to it - looking forward to the next part as this one ended on a bit of a cliff hanger!
