This ends with a cliffhanger so be prepared for that. The plot is a great one and I love the characters. Lot’s of suspense and I need to read book 2 now.

This is the first book of the Deadly Secrets saga, and I will say it has left me wanting more.

We meet Elsa, a young adult that is a bit awkward, she leads a simple life. But lately her dreams have be troublesome. Able to take a vacation she meets Charles, a handsome man with secrets.

Charles is drawn to Elsa and wants to protect her from the Shadow that is around her.

I had a hard time getting started with the story, but once I found the rythm I could not stop and I am ready to continue the story.

Elsa was orphaned at an early age, sent to live with a cold uncle. Without the comfort of love, she becomes an introvert. A coworker helps her step out of her comfort zone. However, even meeting a handsome stranger cannot rid her of the horrible nightmares that may signal disaster to come. The characters reached out for each other, although each guarded secrets. I realized this novel has a cliffhanger and became invested in the story anyway.

This was the first book that I have read from this author and was not sure what to expect. So I was going in open minded. In the first couple of pages I was not so sure that this was going to be my kind of book, but I am really glad that I kept going. I really enjoyed reading this book. This book not only had romance, but suspense and mystery as well.

A great start but the book ends to quickly and leaves you hanging there. You are wanting to know what happens with Elsa and Charles. The only draw back was it never mentioned that it ends on a cliff hanger and are left wondering. It will be interesting to see what happens next.

This was my first book by this author so I wasn't sure what to expect but it turned out to be a good story. The storyline was interesting and the characters are intriguing but I wish they had been more developed. Overall a good start to the Deadly Secrets series and I look forward to reading more books in the future. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I enjoyed this story in that it was a very quick read. It had an interesting story going but ended with a cliffhanger. I am not a fan of cliffhangers at all.
I liked how the story moved along and that each character was introduced and built upon. Can't wait to read more of this story.
Highly recommended.

The editing is absolutely atrocious! While the characters and story are interesting, there is no indication given in the blurb that this book ends in a complete cliffhanger! Not very good, and speaks of the writer being an amateur. Yes, there are better books out there.

You have got to be kidding me.

OMG . This book was going so good. By the page numbers I thought it was going to be a short story... nope the book ends just when the danger really presents itself. Very disappointed. No conclusions and no HEA.

Captivating short fast paced story on a cruiseship. Elsa will never forget her first cruise vacation ever. Some murders, dark secrets and a handsome guy called Charles.

Spell check spell check spell check!!!!!!

You have a good plot and the beginning of a decent story. However. The grammar errors and spell checking are in serious need of editing. You're "book" took me 45 minutes to read. I'm a retired English teacher and honestly, Alice... I would hand this back to my students and tell them to try again. I expect better, because I know they are capable. These errors, ruin the flow of the story. Do I sound like your tenth grade English lit teacher yet? GOOD!! Guess what I did for a living. I won't be reading anything else in the near future. Next time...double check your double checking...

Why would you not want to write a complete story? Why would you want to keep the end from the reader? Just like one of the soapy series' on TV.
And the grammer and other punctuation problems made it difficult read. Some sentences and paragraphs needed to be read twice before I could start to make out what was meant.
Not a bad story but a lot of information wasn't useful.
Plus the name Charles? Every time he is in a scene, I see Prince Charles in my minds eye. Not a sexy name at all. Ew....
