So, weird story about how I read an entire college textbook on psychology when I was 13! We had this book around the house, and I liked how colorful it was, with whimsical illustrations. I was sick with a cold and high fever and could not sleep, and I ended up reading this entire textbook between about 9 p.m. one night and 6 a.m. the next day. Yes, I was a bookworm and a precocious and odd child.

mine is of 1983 copyright, 4th ed. It's everything a psych student would need/want. good stories/anecdotes, witty comic illustrations, easy read
