I enjoy reading about the historical events of our nation even when it falls under historical fiction. I have had this book for more than 30 years and have never picked it up. I was looking for something to read in between my book club books. Seasons of Fear was hard for me to read in the beginning due to the way people spoke in the mid 1700's. But once I could get the sentence structure to flow, it definitely held my attention. This is based on a story I was not aware of. These stories are so important to know about and now I will be doing more research to know the full history that this book is about.
