There was so many ways they could have done this and kept Cyclops as the villain as is the rest of the x factor team but no they had to suck the golden boy balls again and make him a hero again
Why alex has to be this terrible version of a brother or beast has to be this terrible version of a scientist and they can't even keep on the same track and keep cyclops as the a villain like the rest of the team they even go on and give him jean grey the father doesn't have to be a fucking hero for the son to be one
once again i am totally bias because i am mad of the obvious favoritism for one of the most boring characters in this stage of the history of x-men

It’s very interesting seeing which members of Earth-616’s X-Men, given these specific circumstances and conditions, would fully subordinate into unquestioning agents of genocidal fascism. It paints even their heroic counterparts in Marvel’s main continuity as untrustworthy and only on the right side of the struggle because of where they landed. Looking at you, Alex Summers; and don’t think I forgot Sam Guthrie. Also very disappointingly: Hank McCoy.
Likewise, it feels unintentionally apt that Angel, the billionaire heir to a previously multinational conglomerate in the old world, tolerates Apocalypse’s exterminationist government until it threatens his capital, and only then does he favor defection.
