Beginning Windows Nt Programming

Rate this book
Windows NT is the operating system behind the Workstation and the Microsoft Server family. It can be programmed with the same Win32 tools as Win95 and Win98 using the MFC. This book programs using the API directly using C++ and should be understandable to those with system programming experience from other platforms. WindowsNT programs are similar to Windows platform programs in that they have to address messaging rules. However, NT requires a different approach especially to program security, the Registry and Mutli-threading techniques. This book will teach the fundamental methods for NT systems programming to competent C++ programmers.
