This was book #4 about Contextualization this semester, and when I started it I assumed the previous three books had say everything there was to say about Contextualization. Apparently there was more. This book focuses on Syncretism much more than the others I’ve read, and shows the way that it arises in Contextualization efforts. I found this to be a really helpful book. The last second has a ton of case studies that give examples of ways syncretism has appeared all over the world in different missions efforts. Super interesting.
