There are other books that are better

This isn't the worst book about Zentangle /Zendoodle out there. It gives you the basics of the process. It just seems to ramble on and on during the first three quarters of the book. I had my friend read it, and she said that had this been her first experience with these techniques, she would never have started Zendoodle /Zentangle. I think that l would not recommend this book

Nothing fancy

This beyond very basic amd repetitive. Every vol. seems to have the same info. with different examples of patterns and they are very basic ones. I a m a beginner and I am not impressed or moved by this book. Sometimes less is more, I am new to zendoodle and excited to learn. I felt the need to get every book and tutorial I could find. but this has just taught me I don't. I clear do not . all beginners plz take this warning all those books are giving the same examples and so called instructions*. Eyeroll* pick one book and a practice workbook save ur money or Kindle unlimited has saved me a lot. I am realizing I have overthought and over analyzed this whole process. That is because there is over 100 books, videos and websites lol on the subject so it makes u feel there a lot to learn but finding out every book is fairly giving same instructions and patterns examples and some bad ones at that.

Fun & easy doodles

Nice bundle of smaller books. I enjoy this being on Kindle because I can make the illustrations as big as I like. And I have a cool notebook full of notes, bookmarks & search results. This is very helpful, especially with a set like this where the intro gets repeated 3 times. Yikes! Anyway, if I need to look back while I'm in the middle of a doodle, I can do so, easily locating the exact image I need. Even though the individual doodles are fairly simple, the way they fit together in a repeating pattern can look complex. Following the directions is the easiest method of getting from simple line drawing to finished tile. Have fun & enjoy doodling.

Very Simplistic

I liked the patterns, but the author did not build on knowledge shared on previous volume. She mentions “enhancements” techniques and show images, but does not provide instruction. It literally took me 15 minutes or less to go through all 3 volumes.

Great for beginners

This is a great little book for beginners just to dip a toe in and learn some basic patterns and get an idea what the whole zendoodle thing is all about .
It's actually about 3.7 stars .
A good introductory book with little jargon

A well-planned book that was easy to follow. the only thing I think that could have been done differently was the size of the drawings. There were these small drawings on a big white page.
