Rock Star Cowboys is book three in The McLendon Family Saga series by D.L. Roan.
Oh my gosh, I have just been loving this series. Maybe I get too emotionally involved in my books. But I just can’t help it. This family has wedged themselves in to my heart.
We start out when Carson and Conner McLendon are seventeen years old. They are both gifted musically and have become sort of local celebrities with their band. They have always been close, sharing a tight twin bond. Their dream besides becoming famous for their music was also that someday when they fell in love, they would also share a wife. We also get to know Jonah and Dani, their twin siblings, and Cole, their youngest brother, although we don’t see much of him in this book.
Breezy Youngblood is fourteen years old. Her life is nothing like the idyllic life the twins have. She has an abusive alcoholic father and her seventeen year old brother, Ford, had to drop out of school so he could work two jobs to try to pay the rent. Every Sunday afternoon when her father leaves for the bar and her brother is at work, Breezy runs to the McLendon property where the family has a picnic on the creek while the kids all swim. This is when she first began to fall in love with Conner and Carson.
On a tragic night, all of their lives are changed forever and Breezy is forced to leave Grassland, Montana.
We jump ahead to nine years later. The boys have made it big. But stardom isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Carson has something he has kept hidden deep inside all these years and it’s eaten away at him. He’s drinking like crazy and more than once they have made the tabloids with his exploits. For Conner, the divide he feels from his twin is killing him. He doesn’t know how to fix things. And the music isn’t what it used to be for him. Then they get the news, bad news that immediately pulls them home to Grassland and their family.
“On the surface, Carson was the life of the party, always laughing and joking, and the women loved him, but something had twisted on the inside.”
Breezy has become a physical therapist and is called to Grassland to help with the rehabilitation of Conner and Carson’s grandfather. This is the first time she’s been back since she left all those years ago.
Conner is the first one who recognizes the connection with Breezy. Both his fathers and grandfathers had always told him that when they meet the right woman, they’ll just know. Well, he just knew. But it was a lot more complicated than he wanted it to be. There was Carson and all his darkness lately. And it was obvious that Breezy had a lot of unresolved issues that sill remained.
“I’ve waited my entire life for you, and you’ve been here this whole time.”
This book had plenty of tummy twirling sweetness and plenty of hot and steaminess. But as I’ve come to expect with this series, there was so much more. This family never ceases to amaze me. The first hint of trouble and they close ranks and love and support one another. Conner and Carson were wonderful. Carson, the more dramatic of the two, came out with some of the sweetest words once he figured out what he was feeling. And Conner, sweet wonderful Conner. He is the rock of the two of them. Once these two figured out how they felt about Breezy, there was no stopping them.
As I mentioned, we also got to know Dani and Jonah, the twins who now were seventeen years old. There is sort of a secondary story line happening with Jonah. A lot of unanswered questions which I’m thinking our author might be using to set us up for a future book. I hope so. I’d also love to get more of Dani since she’s the only daughter. Her fathers will have a field day with any man that comes in to her life.
So, I think you figured out by now that yes, I loved this book. I just can’t get enough of this family and am going to miss them terribly. I am hoping D.L. Roan is hard at work on a new book because I’m just not ready to let the McLendon’s go yet. So if you think this series would interest you, start back with book one. I hope you love the McLendon family as much as I do.
“For the first time in years they were on the same beat, feeling the same song, the woman between them like a bridge guiding them back to where they began.”
The story begins nine years ago. Breezy is 14 years old and lives in a trailer with her older brother and her mostly drunk dad. She lives for summer sundays, when she can hang out with the McLendon family at their creek. She's been half in love with their 17-year old twins Connor and Carson for forever. But trailer trash like her would never stand a chance against beautiful Charlotte.... Then one day something happens that destroys even the smallest chance she might have had with them...
Now, nine years later, Connor and Carson are huge Country-Music-Stars. But Carson has still not gotten over what happened back then. He's hiding his guilt behind girls, drugs and alcohol. Conner feels like he's losing his brother more and more with each day that passes. Then the boys get called back home... Also back home is Breezy....
Will this be a new chance for them all??? Or is there still too much hatred and anger left?
This was a really great story!
I hadn't read anything about this family before - and you don't really have to. But I might go back and do it now! ☺ I just love ménage romances ♥
I was already crying after only a few pages... But next to the crying parts the book has LOTS of really sexy parts too. And funny and adorable and frustrating parts. It was the perfect ménage romance!
I will definitely read everything that comes after this book!
If you love ménage romances and cowboys and rockstars...this is SO the book for you!!! It almost doesn't get better than this - this book was like a genre lottery win for me ☺☺☺

A real delight. Twins, CARson & CONner, are all grown up in this one and their love story with Breezy was worth every minute I spent immersed in the book--and ignoring my life. I loved their character development and watching them discover their one true love, Breezy. She'd been a part of their lives in youth and they had always been an integral part of her's--as well as her heart. Breezy hit me emotionally. Life had not been easy on her growing up and the loss she suffered when she was young made my heart ache. That part of the story was sad and tragic. But the McLendon Family was her champion and helped Breezy overcome and reach her full potential in life. Gah, I love the McLendons. Three generations of good people. This family is the epitome of compassion, loyalty, and pure love. One of those families in romance books that you wish were real and yours. The McLendon women were lucky to have such wonderful men worship and adore them left and right. These sexy cowboys sure know how to love a woman.
“Even before I knew you, I believed in the idea of you. I want forever with you. I want forever with us...Every idea, every splintered image in my head has you and Car in it.” Conner<3
There's a novella after this book and it's about Car, Con & Breezy's honeymoon. I will definitely be reading that one too.
When I first started this series, it was not the first time I'd read a menage story, but it was the first time I'd read one where the participants were related-let alone brothers. I was actually pretty surprised and pleased to find out that this wasn't just a kinked-up device to change up a story in the menage arena, but the author actually writes a fantastic story...and the lead characters just so happen to be brothers (which of course lends another dimension to the plot, one that is handled quite well).
After thoroughly enjoying the first book in this series, my interest was piqued for more in this family saga. I'm happy to report that Rock Star Cowboys delivers the same solid writing with an intriguing plot that has some interesting twists-along with some scorchingly hot intimate scenes that will leave you breathless.
After reading Heart of Falcon Ridge, I had an inkling that Carson would be the more feisty of the twins, and he sure shows his troublemaking, difficult side here in Rock Star Cowboys. Connor is the perfect complementary balance for him, meaning that together they make up the perfect man--so for me it only makes sense that they would both end up with one woman between them.
Breezy is a pretty great female lead. After everything she's been through in her life, she is now a strong, determined young woman-if still a bit unsure when it comes to her teen crushes, Connor and Carson. But Carson brings out her own feisty side, and Connor her softer side...and when you put the three of them together, they just make sense.
But getting to that point makes for a bumpy ride filled with drama, and regardless of a reader's view on polyandry, the story itself is well thought out and written. I found it quite interesting and enjoyable, made even more so with the wonderful supporting character cast of the McLendon family. There's also a side plot featuring Carson and Connor's brother Jonah which now has me desperately hoping that his story will be added to the series.
Again getting more than I expected in an unconventional relationship story-in a good way-Rock Star Cowboys was a very solid 4 star read for me, and I can't wait to see what comes next in the series. Recommended only for 18+ fans of menage romance due to adult language and explicit M/F/M menage and M/F sexual content.
Rock Star Cowboys, The McLendon Family Saga Book 3, is just as good a read as the first two books. Connor and Carson, the McLendon brother’s twins from their first marriage, are all grown up, get discovered on the music scene, and become just as the title states, rock star cowboys. They’re in high demand and have women falling all over them. Carson uses the lifestyle to numb his pain and guilt from a past tragedy. Connor still loves their music, but he and Carson are constantly clashing, as Carson tries outdoing each scandal with a bigger one. Connor is about to the point that he’s had enough and is ready to pack it in, when they get news that one of their papas is ill and they need to rush home. But while going home will be great to see Gabby, the fathers, Hazel, their papas, and siblings, Uncles Cade and Daniel, at the same time it brings them back to the scene of the tragedy. Breezy Youngblood had a far less pleasant childhood than the McLendons, but would play with them on the weekends. She loved Conner and Carson, but they loved someone else. She too has a connection to the tragic incident that changed all of their lives forever. Because of that she fled Grasslands years ago. She’s now an occupational therapist and Papa Joe wants her to help in his recovery. Even though she has mixed feelings about returning home after all these years, she agrees to help. It doesn’t take long before Breezy, Connor, and Carson, encounter each other. One twin is rather taken with her while the other is holding onto a grudge as tight as he can. I really enjoyed how the story played out and these three danced around each other and their feelings for one another until they could no longer stand it. Breezy is a great, sweet character, but a strong woman when she needs to be. And she will need to be to handle those two hunks. Conner and Breezy are ready to move forward and now Carson has to decide if he can let go of old hurts, guilt and blame to take part in their relationship or get left behind. This is a truly great erotic western ménage romance, and I highly recommend it. It’s a must read if you enjoyed the first two books.
This book is just what I needed to break up my roll I was reading! It's sexy as sin, filled with family, heartbreak and love like no other! Breezy is the poor girl next door to a ranch of sexy twins that she's has secretly loved for years, but when tragedy struck a it hits both families! Things are said in the heat of heart break and lives are changed! Breezy is moved away and when she finally makes it back to her home town, life feels like it's been twisted back to her teens, but one thing hasn't changed and that's that she's still in love with the twins! Can they see her for who she is, get past the tragedy that happened to them all and listen to the truth of it all? Amazingly awesome characters, story line and setting!
For what most think of as HOT books, these stories are full of wonderfully flawed, well rounded, complex and loving characters that will bring out a lot of emotions as you read!
Those McLendon boys from Second Chances / The Heart of Falcon Ridge (depending on whether you are an old or new reader of DL Roan's work, it is the same book, just different title) are all grown up... and boy, are the all grown up!
9 years ago Carson and Connor's world was shattered, and Carson has never moved on. But it wasn't just their world that changed....at that same time, the girl next door, Breezy Youngblood's world was annihilated.
Make sure you have some tissues handy, because if you are like me, you are going to need them (more than once if you an anything like me!)
Skip forward to the present, Breezy is no longer the poor girl living next door, and the McLendon twins are music superstars. But those old feelings don't go away.
My heart broke - again - for Breezy upon her return to Grasslands. Her attraction to her boys is still there, still off the charts, but those old feelings and prejudices between their families still run strong.
Oh boy, did I want to nut punch Carson more than once! Or at least throw a chair at him! He frustrated me as much as my heart hurt for him. But when he got is sh&t together... man this girl is still fanning herself!
I love a menage story, and this one pretty much had it all for me. I mean cowboys who are rock stars who love the same woman? What is not to love?
I can't wait to see where the McLendon Family Saga goes next.
This is Book 3 of the McLendon Family Saga and in this book Connor and Carson McLendon are all grown up and are one the most popular music duos around. Along with the popularity comes their fare share of paparazzi and all the headaches that entails. Especially when you're caught with your pants down which Carson has a tendency to do quite often! We also have Breezy Youngblood a girl from their hometown that has known the McLendon family for a few years.
To get to the heart of the story, we need to look at the events when they were all younger and a tragic event tore everyone apart. Breezy has had a crush on the Con and Car since she first met them and their family. To say her family life is less than fabulous is putting it mildly. Reading how she was growing up and the total lack of love she received from everyone except her older brother Ford broke my heart. This little girl thrived when she was included in the McLendon Family Sunday afternoon picnics. She also got to worship from afar the twins too. Con and Car are both dating Charlotte Lakeman a very pretty girl that Breezy is a little jealous of. Yes, before you ask, Con and Car expect to share a girlfriend as that's what they've grown up with and plan on Charlotte being that girl.
Just as the boys get their big break, an event that rocks everyone's world and has reverberating affects for three different families. I was torn apart reading this part of the book as things were said and actions were taken that could never be undone. Fast forward eight years, Carson has gotten himself into some serious trouble and just when they thought things couldn't get any worse from a publicity standpoint, they're called home when one of their grandfathers has a stroke. And who do you think is Joe's occupational therapist is? That's right, Breezy Youngblood who has grown up to be a stunningly beautiful young lady.
Let's just say, things get real interesting when the three of them meet up again. The attraction is still there for Breezy but Carson doesn't want anything to do with her because of what happened so long ago even though he's very attracted to her. Connor on the other hand wants to explore something with her but feels guilty that he's considering leaving his brother out of the mix. Things have a way of progressing though and there's a point when Carson realizes that she's theirs....
"Twenty-four hours earlier, he would have rolled his eyes at one of their stories, but the second he came down those stairs and saw Breezy curled up in his brother's arms, he knew. She was theirs. Completely.
And now that she's theirs, let the good times along with the hot, steamy, sizzling sex these three have. And they have a lot of it. There were a few times when I had to make sure no one was looking over my shoulder while reading this book! Ms. Roan has a way of writing these love scenes that while they're as sexual as you can imagine, they're written with class so it's not at all raunchy. Which I truly appreciate both as a reader and a woman.
Of course things can't be all smooth sailing because what would the point of the story be then? Can Carson and Connor make Breezy happy together in a polyandrous relationship? What events bring the family together and what secrets are revealed? You'll get these answers and a great read when you pick up this not to be missed book in this fabulous series.
This was a FUN book!!! I have loved DL Roan's McLendon Family Saga Series for as long as I can remember, and this was a fun addition as we got to see the twins grow up and come into their own. I have read every one of her books and have enjoyed each one....this one was no different.
While this book can technically be read as a standalone (easily), I think you would enjoy the series as a whole as well. It's a bit of a different story as the family life is NOT conventional, but overall it's a story of love and growth. With their lifestyle being so different, it adds such a different dynamic to the whole story. This family is so entertaining....and I know there is more to come and I can't wait.
The story starts out with a young Breezy, Connor and Carson and life as it was....we got to grow with them and see how they met and interacted as children, before we met them as adults. After reading their story, I was IN LOVE with these boys and their affections for Breezy. Breezy was such a sweet and innocent little girl, but Connor and Carson were naughty, sexy and HOT. Their connection was electric and they set each other off.....so much so that when ONE twin realizes she is the ONE and the other has not yet accepted that reality (even though he knows), the push and pull between them all is so powerful that it can't be denied.
I loved the emotions in this book and enjoyed how their story took off. This story was one of redemption and true love and I feel that DL did a good job of letting their story go through the heartache, to grow and mature as adults with a love that grew so powerful. I love DL's heat level in her menage romances....and while it was weird for me to think of the kids all grown up, they had definitely grown into their own. I don't think I will ever get over this family and the amount of love they have for everyone, and the fact that they are just the most loving and non judgmental family makes it a great read. I love the McLendons. And I got to see my man Mason again. And Matt. And Grey....and a few others. I am looking forward to the next book in this series as I believe that will be a heart-tugging story to wade through.
DL introduced us to twins Connor and Carson when they were just mischievous 6 year old boys in the Heart of Falcon Ridge (previously Second Chances which I have reviewed, click to read it here). They were cute then, and you just knew they would have a story to tell. Years later the twins are all grown up, rock stars in their own right with adventures and parties to ride out. The character development of these two is perfect, they are unique yet with a likeness and connection that is palpable. For those that haven’t read DL Roan’s McLendon Family Saga note this warning – they are about hot cowboys, they contain sexy scenes that depict a menage (or polyamorous) relationship. DL writes this genre with pure class, built with emotion, sex and fun. DL’s prose is seamless, the story captures the emotion of the plot and its progression flawlessly. I am not generally an emotional (as in ugly crying face tears with snot) reader, but very early in this story my heart was breaking and my eyes were glistening. Anyways, back to the story… Connor and Carson are all grown up, they face many trials and tribulations of young men who are exploring their personalities, needs and wants. Breezy Youngblood is a local girl who has had her own troubles, known to the boys back in the day comes back into their life when they least expect it. Breezy is a strong character whose resilience resonates with me, her ability to succeed amongst adversity and maintain a forgiving heart endears her to the reader. It would seem that Breezy is the perfect heroine for our Rock Star Cowboys… but nothing is smooth sailing and life continues to take turns for Con, Car and Breezy on their path to a happy ever after. In my past reviews, I have always felt that while DL nailed the story that I needed something more, so she was constantly on a 4.5 star rating. I can happily say that I was so satisfied with this story that DL has cracked my resolve and 5 stars it is. Take a chance and grab the McLendon Family Saga and meet the whole family!
Breezy Youngblood has had a tough life. She and her brother, Ford, lost their mother at an early age, and their father was left to pick up the pieces. Being a drunk and overall loser, Breezy and Ford learned to lean on one another growing up. As hard as it was, they stood by each other and made their way the best way they could.
Connor and Carson McLendon, twin brothers born into a large, wealthy family the total opposite of Breezy’s. Their mother, three fathers, and siblings were very close. Although they didn’t run in the same circles, Breezy grew up spending Sundays on the lake with the McLendon’s. They didn’t know it, but Breezy has been in love with the twins since she was a little girl. As teenagers, tragedy strikes both their families, and their lives take them away from the town they called home.
All grown up, Connor and Carson are country music superstars. Breezy has become a physical therapist. After several years, a family emergency brings the trio back to the place they called home. Trying to overcome hurts and demons from their pasts, Breezy, Connor, and Carson are forced to face the one thing that destroyed their once close friendship.
I thought the storyline progressed nicely, but honestly I was expecting the fireworks to start much sooner in the book. There seemed to be a lot of opportunities for it to happen, then it didn’t. I will say that when Carson, Connor and Breezy finally got together, it was smokin’ hot!
I loved the that Carson and Connor having grown up in a polyamorous family—their parents and grandparents—they were surrounded by love and could care less about what the rest of the town thought about their family dynamics.
Rock Star Cowboys is the third book in the McLendon Family Saga series. It can be read as a standalone, but you will get a bit more insight to the family by reading the series.
I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 4 stars.
When I first heard about this book I was super excited! I was super excited because D.L. was putting another book out and because the main character was sharing my name! But mostly because D.L. has an amazing way with bringing you into her world and making you fall in love with the characters!
I had no idea what to expect when I first started because to be honest, I hadn't read the rest of the McLendon series (shame on me and it is something I am correcting soon). But I knew I could trust in the author and I knew I was in for a treat!
We start with a young girl who is in love with brothers, and who has a very difficult home life. Breezy suffers from a lack of parenting and neglect. She runs away to the McLendon estate any chance she can just to escape her daily life. It is a nice retreat until one night she sees something she wasn't meant to. And a series of events happen that destroys what little happiness she had.
Breezy has grown up and made something of her life despite the devastation and she runs into Connor and Carson McLendon again, who are now Country stars and, although Connor seems to have his life in order, Carson doesn't. A series of bad choices made by Carson have left the brothers in a bit of hot water.
I won't give any more of the story away, just to say this is where things get very very interesting.
I loved Connor from the get go, Carson took a long time to win me over. I understood why he was so angry with Breezy, but I knew it was uncalled for. When truths are finally revealed it makes everyone become a lot more calm. I blushed more than once at their intimate moments (never thought I would read my name associated with a Menage a Trois..lol), but they were beautiful and special moments.
I loved the McLendon family because they are a truly loving bunch and although there are issues in every family, these guys know how to overcome and conquer together. I highly recommend this amazing novel and series!
I give this 4.5 lipsticks!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The McLendon twins. Sexy and single, country music Gods on tour working their way through the female population. Carson has some issues, something that haunts him that has put a wedge between him and his twin Connor. Things go from bad to worse on the road and then a call from home has them rushing to be with their family.
Breezy Youngblood is what you would call a girl from the wrong side of the tracks. She grew up next door to the McLendon farm with her alcoholic father and her brother. Her life was no fairytale, she would sneak away and spend Sunday's with the McLendon twins at the river where their mother would always invite her to stay and eat with them. This was the closest she'd ever come to a normal family, one afternoon a week with people she shared no blood with.
After a tragedy involving her brother and the McLendon family. Carson blames Breezy and then she disappears, she's put in foster care where she tries to overcome her upbringing and to forget about the twins she always had a crush on. Now and adult with a thriving career she's called home to help out the McLendons. Once she arrives she's shocked to see Carson and Connor are back as well. Carson want's her gone. Connor wants her in his bed. Breezy, well she wants them both but she can't betray her brothers secret to help Carson overcome their past.
Rock Star Cowboys is a story of family, forgiveness and acceptance. Breezy is the missing piece in bringing Carson and Connor back together as well as a few other things!!
Next generation of McLendon boys. You don't have to read the other books in this series but if you love ménage then read books 1 and 2 first. The McLendon Twins are country music stars. Carson loves the lifestyle while Connor loves the music. Breezy Youngblood was from the poor family in town. She lead a harsh life and would fantasize about being a part of the McLendon family. To her the McLendon's were a perfect family. She was also secretly in love with the McLendon Twins. One night tragedy stuck and Breezy left Falcon Ridge while the McLendon Twins were emotionally wrecked. Fast forward nine years and Breezy is all grown up as a Occupational Therapist. She returns to Falcon Ridge to treat the McLendon Papa. Breezy and the twins are both weary of eachother due to misconceptions about the past. Connor feels a pull towards Brezzy but she's hesitant because of the hurtful past. What happens when she gives in? DL Roan takes the reader on a emotional journey of a heartbroken girl and the misconceptions of others due to her upbringing. Even the McLendon Twins are guilty of this. You can't help but feel for Breezy and want to hug her. She's has had nothing but pain in her life. With the history of ménage relationships in the McLendon family the twins always figured they too would have this but stubborn Carson may ruin any chance of happiness for the twins. As with all DL Roan books there is plenty of hot ménage scenes that will leave you panting for more. If you love emotional reads, hot ménage, Cowboys, and RockStars then 1-click this baby today.
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I think I enjoyed this book in the series so much more than The Heart of Falcon Ridge (book 1) because I liked the issues it tackled and took on. So you meet Carson and Connor in The Heart of Falcon Ridge as children and to understand the family dynamic I truly feel like you should read book 1 first. You get a glimpse of the twins again in A McLendon Christmas (book2), which IMO is a novella and although it is a nice look back at the family doesn't really give you too much more.
Back to Carson and Connor....I loved seeing the twins as adults!! The book doesn't start off with them that way but it lays a foundation so when the time jump happens you know what your are dealing with in their past. They have real everyday struggles that they had to overcome despite being country stars, secrets that built up walls, and truths that were glaring them in the face without them even knowing it. Breezy Youngblood didn't have it easy but she saw what a life could be like when a family is loving and open. Her journey was fun, sweet, and heartfelt. The entire McLendon family is featured in this book without overtaking the main story which is about Connor, Carson, and Breezy.
I really hope that there will be more books about this family because I WANT TO KNOW MORE!!!
Absolutely loved this book. Once again, DL Roan has written a fantastic story about love & family. In this book we get to meet the McLendon twins all grown up & sexy as sin. We also get reacquainted with Breezy Youngblood, who has been in love with Connor & Carson for what seems like forever.
Breezy's whole world fell apart when she was 14 years old. She lost the three most important people in her life all in one devastating night. Now she's back & so are the two men who have forever been the center of her universe. But with so many misunderstandings between them a Happily Ever After seems more like a fantasy than it ever has.
Things between Connor & Carson haven't been completely right in years & it just keeps getting worse. When they are called home for a family emergency it seems to Connor to be the perfect opportunity to get Carson out of the public eye after his latest screw-up. Will coming home help the brothers find their way back to each other? Or will old memories & new tensions just pull them farther apart?

Quote: The fiery burn in her lungs morphed into an overwhelming ache. Her eyelids fell closed, her lips parted and her entire body arched against his when his tongue slid slowly past her lips and pushed against hers.
I can't wait to see what happens with other members of the family like, Jonah and Dani!
Hot M/F/M! Taboo Romance! I enjoyed reading this story of three people finding their way in life. Learning that what they thought they wanted wasn’t all they wanted or the most important. The author didn’t rush to sex before feeling came into play for all the characters. This isn’t a true insta-love story, it builds over time; even if one character (Breezy) loves Connor and Carson from the moment she sees them.
The things Breezy goes through will make you a little weepy eyed and your heart may just break a little with hers. As I’m thinking over this book I can’t find anything I disliked about this story. I recommend this book! **I was given this book for an honest review. This plays no part in how I felt about this book.**
This book was so well written that I was just pulled into the story. After a tragedy years ago the twins are struggling with their fame and love. They are also struggling with connecting to each other. A family dilemma takes them back home where they come face to face with someone from the past. Carson holds Breezy responsible for the tragedy whist Connor in infatuated instantly. Carson is struggling with how he feels about Breezy. He likes her and hates her all at the same time and this just adds to his frustration. This is a fascinating read with new things coming to light that finally makes Car open his eyes.
From the beginning it was a great story. Hard to read about Breezy's young life but I was captivated by the words. Learning all about Carson and Connor was a true labor of love. They are so unique in all ways. And family comes first for these boys. Incredibly hot sex scenes. But what I really loved was the story of Breezy and how she made it through all that made up her life. Thank you D.L. Roan I look forward to more McClendon books to read.
I so love this series and can't wait for more!. This book when you start to read it, it draws you in. The tragedy that happen, the blaming, the anger and heart ache, the guilt and hidden secrets, but in the end a HEA, that is well deserved for these 3 characters who realise that love can truly heal and conquer all. Definitely worth the 5 star and more rating given.
Really enjoy this series. The family dynamic is a little unconventional but it works for them. as is shown throughout the series the only thing that matters is the love that is shared between all partners. seeing how the twins have grown, conquered the limelight and found their own love was a great continuation of the McLendon family story. looking forward to reading more.
Rock Star Cowboys by DL Roan is Book 3 in The McLendon Family Saga and a great read. It is about the twins Connor & Carson all grown up. They are growing apart until a Family emergency brings they home. They must face several truths about their rock star life to fine their way. So loved the twins all grown up. Now it is on to book 4--so loving binge reading this series, you will too.
Okay I am totally in love with everyone from Falcon Ridge, major Kleenex time and loved how Carson, and Conner finally realized their love for Breezy... Was very proud of the way Breezy stood her ground around Carson. All in all awesome book can't wait for more books from Falcon Ridge.
