I didn't like this book much. A lot of the text and images is copy/paste from his other book on creating textures in Photoshop. The rest of the book wasn't very useful to me : it was either too vague (not practical, just intro text), or too specific (recipe with steps).
Solid book for creating 3D game assets, mostly 3d modeling and texture techniques. I love how he has breaks down the modeling parts through mostly 1 or 2 page illustrations. includes urban and rural. A little weak when it comes to doing normal mapping. but solid modeling and texturing book.
