They aren't in this book. Come on, you didn't really expect the author to explain the unexplainable, did you? The first half of the book is marred by typos and wrong word usage. The second half shows great improvement in the writing.
The book covers so many topics that they cannot be covered in a review. After all, there are four books in this volume. Read them all. If a subject doesn't interest you, go to the next one.
A book like this needs pictures. Sadly, there are no pictures. That's what Google is for, and even then you won't learn much because these mysteries are unexplainable.
This is actually four mini books in one. Although ghosts is in the title, there is very little about ghosts or hauntings. These little books cover mostly cryptids, and bizarre places, and events. There is not a lot of detail. I got the impression these were like samplings, of other books, and meant to wet your appetite for more. I read a lot of these novels, because they are quick and interesting, and I sometimes have a challenge with what to read next, and these fill in the gaps nicely. Having lived in Colorado all my life,I have yet to witness any velociraptor lizards anywhere, but geez it's fun to think we have our own cryptid right here...LOL..enjoy.
