The Last Free Man in America

Rate this book
Every generation must re-win its own freedoms. And every generation must produce an individual who will insist that our freedoms under the Constitution and Bill of Rights remain unabridged by those in power. This generation has produced Gatewood Galbraith, attorney, marijuana smoker, gun owner and the most successful Independent candidate for a major office in America for decades. This is his story of defending individual and human rights in the streets, the courtrooms and on political stages around the country. He may very well be the Last Free Man in America.

You HAVE to love Gatewood! This Kentucky attorney and hemp advocate has run unsuccessfully for an assortment of Kentucky political offices -- including four appearances in the state's gubernatorial races.
I don't agree with the man on most issues, (those who know me know this to be undeniably true) but he IS a hoot. This book peeks into his interesting, peculiar life.
I had the pleasure of interviewing the man during the 2007 Kentucky governor's race. I have a signed copy of this book.

As a person who lived in Lexington KY I always enoyed this man. He always stood for what he believed in. I also thought he was a little sexy. Fun book about a real charecter. I wish there were more like him in the world.

I wanted to give this to my son-in-law for a gift, only to find that he had already read it. If you love freedom of thought, no matter what your political persuasion, this is an interesting tale.

Surprisingly well written, not just a stoner caught up in marijuana smoke. I salute the man and his mission.
