This book had potential
The pictures were too noisy (grainy), which is inexcusable in this day and time. The sentence structuring was also lacking. Poor grammar and punctuation is a huge turn off. I stopped reading when I got frustrated with the Loveland (?) castle because I had to look ahead to get an idea when it was built. There are certain things in nonfiction that must first be introduced before you can provide depth.
The premise was good, but the rest was thin. I found out more by just doing an Internet search. I am glad I did not have to pay for this.

I think Ward Salud did a great job describing all the different castles in America. There were a few castles that I thought were missing but overall, he did a great job. I enjoyed reading on some of the histories like the Cinderella Castle, the Loveland Castle, and the Castillo de Amorosa were some of my favorites.

Disappointing.
Disney and Las Vegas??? Come on!! What about real homes! You left out several castles in the US to fill pages with bogus commercial junk. Architecturally disappointing due to that. Hpe your other books are better.

It is okay
Several of the "castles" were theme park attractions or hotels. It would have been more interesting to have included only real castles built by individuals not corporations.

Disappointing!
With some many real castles in America, who wants to eat about Harry Potter's, Cinderella's, a prison,or a fort! Told waste!
