"The course of true love never did run smooth." - William Shakespeare Gage and Raven's relationship was born and bred in turmoil. Questioning their future was only natural for both of them. After battling against the odds, they thought they were home free. Then, the unthinkable happened. Thrust into the fiery depths of Hell, they'll have to exorcise their own demons before they can claim the love they've fought so hard for.
Alana Sapphire has a great love for writing and music, and always finds a way to combine the two. Her books, though in various subcategories, are all in the Erotic Romance genre. Like a little suspense with your romance? So does Alana! Pick up one of her books and you’ll get romance, suspense, drama, and lots of sexy time. With books ranging from MC to paranormal, an Alana story is out there for you. Her characters are like old friends—near and dear to her heart—and she hopes for her readers to enjoy them as much as she does.
Claimed is the conclusion of Gage and Raven’s story, and picks up where Tempted left off. Both characters are fighting their own demons, haunted by what happened to Raven. She’s struggling to come to terms with it, but fears it will push Gage away. He blames himself, believing she was hurt because whoever did it was trying to get to him. He vows to avenge her but tries to be there for her, helping while she goes through the various stages of grief. This brings them closer; strengthening a bond they both thought was based solely on sexual attraction. They receive the shock of their lives when they find out who the culprit is, but work together to exact revenge. With that hurdle behind them, they finally move forward, claiming the life they rightly deserve.
Someone just told me that in this book the author wrote a disclaimer saying that tha name I was upset with was a mispronunciation of the name "Holla" and that it has no relation to a religion..... Well I am sorry to say that doesn't help much when instead of "Holla" I just read another religious name instead! Why could she not just stick to Holla? I just don't get it. Anyway I wish the author well but I don't accept her reasoning.
I'm struggling to find the right words for my rating on the overall three installment books for this story. I saw mixed reviews on the books and since all 3 have been released and they were available with Kindle Unlimited, I decided to jump in and try them. I read a lot of MC/biker romances, some good, some bad. Honestly, I didn't like the story but then I must have liked something because something made me read all 3 books, one behind the other. The overall story had really good potential to be at least a 4 or 5 star review but there were so many things that kept me from being totally engaged to give it a higher rating. There are a lot of triggers in the overall story. First the heroine is 17, 3 months shy of her 18th birthday, when the H meets her. The H is 32. Now I usually don't have a problem with an age difference but 17/32 made me a little uncomfortable. It probably wouldn't have bothered me if it was more like 22/37. Second, there is a vivid rape scene, which results in some very dark emotions for the heroine. It wasn't your usual rape and it did not involve the H. The ending was unbelievable and OTT. Just a little tweaking and a different conclusion would have made the story more believable. Most of the time the heroine acts like a typical, silly 17 year old. Other times she comes across as a 30 year old. The hero won't take her virginity before she reaches age 18. I was torn with this hero. The author wrote a man that was loving, supportive, patient and hot. But I would have liked to see him with someone other than the h in this story. I also would have liked to have had a more believable plot/villain. Again, I started book one and moved right on to books 2 and 3 while thinking man I wish the author had taken this in another direction.

This is the conclusion to Raven and Gage's story and what a ride it was! Raven has just gone through a horrific event, one that Gage was unable to protect her from, but to top it off, he's being blamed for it. As Raven comes to terms with what's happened to her, she goes through an array of emotions. I couldn't hold in my tears for her and for Gage because, just when they thought they were going to make it, shit happens to them.
Gage's only mission now is to get those that responsible for causing Raven pain. At times, I wanted to smack Raven because I felt she was being a bit childish with Gage, and my goodness, was she stubborn! But Gage gave it back to her making her think about her actions.
Their relationship is not only hot but sweet, funny and so volatile at times, I just had to shake my head and just hope they both made it out ALIVE! Now, I will give you this, Ms. Sapphire threw me for a loop there when I finally realized whodunit. Can't wait for what's next from Ms. Sapphire! ~ Kara, 4.5 stars
Raven's life changes when her Father passes away and leaves her in the Custody of her only living relative her older Sister Lonnie. Lonnie is involved with a local 1% MC and has aspirations to one day be an Old Lady for none other then Club Prez Gage. Lonnie is willing to kill to get what she wants... family or not.
Gage sees a gorgeous Latin beauty at his Club and knows he has to have her under him. As he spends time with her he realizes Raven might just be the one who will bring the Reaper to his knees.
They've been attacked and the Club desperately is trying to figure out by whom. It leaves someone in the ICU and another to try and put the pieces back together.
So... this one was a let down. Raven the hot headed, badass, spitfire was missing up to about 70%. I am also not one to want to read about trauma and healing for most of the book. I think we could have summarized that in 1 chapter and moved on and enjoyed the rest. So overall my least favorite of the series but it concludes Raven & Gage's Story.
Book 3 follows on from book 2 and it was so heart breaking at times to read, but I felt the heartache all the characters went through, not just the main two. This book is full of action from page one and Raven and Gage have to overcome a lot. I look forward to the next book.
I ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY LOVED, LOVED, LOVED THIS BOOK!! Raven and Gage are two souls meant to be one. And first can I just say, the sex is wet your pantie set your crotch on fire smokin hot! At the end of book #2 Tempted my heart was shattered. This book picks up right where Tempted ended. At times the suspense is so intense I couldn't catch my breath. Gage's father Chopper kept me entertained. He definitely let Gage how he felt about Raven. Raven actually fit right in with the club. It was really sweet the way all the guys loved Raven and they all became very protective over her like you would a sister and they all had their own nickname for her. Lol. I enjoyed the addition of Raven's mother and her sister. Dani was adorable. The thing I love most about Alana's books is I can feel the characters emotion coming off the pages. This book captivated me from beginning to end. I have to admit I did not see the reveal coming, and was glad it was not who I thought it was. But it blew me away and I loved how they all handled the ones responsible. The ending definitely could not have been more perfect. I think I had a permanent smile on my face. I stayed up all night long reading this book. Once I started there was no freakin way I was stopping until I was done. I almost peed my pants on several ooccasions. Lol! I EXTREMELY recommend this series to everyone. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU ALANA SAPPHIRE YOU BLOW ME AWAY! MUCH LOVE TO YOU! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU DO NEXT!
Who caused the carnage at the end of book 2; Tempted? Will Raven and Gage ever get to be together and get their HEA? Will the author be able to keep the enjoyment factor going when she will be dealing with what happened?
These are the questions I had going into this book, I really enjoyed the first two so my expectations were high. Did Alana Sapphire deliver? Hell yeah she did! I thought she handled Raven's recovery brilliantly. She didn't pussy foot around, she didn't brush over it, she wrote about it. I read every emotion Raven had, and how it all affected those around her including of course Gage, who is definitely on my book boyfriend list now. There were definitely some awwwww moments when it came to this big bad biker they call 'Reaper'.
When it came to the big reveal, the whodunit? I had no clue it was this person, and that is unusual for me to not even have an inkling with things like that. So well done Alana, you kept me guessing right until the end.
As for Raven and Gage making it as a couple?, well you're just gonna have to read and find out but I will say, damn, this author can right a HOT sexy time scene! Sometimes these scenes can read a little far fetched, but no, I could imagine it all, a definite plus in my books! I give Claimed 5 stars.
Alana Sapphire has once again blown my mind! Death Dealers MC is hands down one of my favorite series that I've read this year. Claimed starts where we left off in book 2. After the incident, Gage and Raven continue to be tested in ways neither of them could have predicted. Claimed is filled with drama and betrayals. I thought the connection between Gage and Raven was intense before but in Claimed, it's explosive! I had so many predictions as to who was responsible for the incident in book 2 but I definitely didn't see that coming. I was so wrong! Claimed is fast paced, enticing and draws you in from the beginning to the end. I love Rage!!! I really enjoy Alana's writing and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
Claimed begins where our last book ends. Raven has been attacked and Gage has been arrested.
The first part of the book is Raven dealing with her issues and all that it entails after the horrific events of her Birthday night. All through this Gage is dealing with his own demons because the women he was meant to protect was attacked under his watch.
I have only rated this three stars as once the two of them settled and finally did the nasty, it seemed like the end part of the book kinda made up for all the sex that was left out of the first two.
Great story line with a few twists and turns. Hoping that E gets his own story as I really would like to see the development of his character more and more
Claimed was even better than Soulless! I want to say so much but don't want to ruin this for ANYONE. This book keeps you drawn in the entire time, oh and if you think you know who raped Raven...well you're probably wrong. The story starts off slow and dark but quickly picks up and becomes HOT and heavy (did I mention that Gage is well hung?) The ending is just like the other books good until the last page with lots of funny lines and lots of excitement. Favorite line in the entire book references the heel of the bread, too funny! Alana you've outdone yourself.
I can not get enough Gage and Raven!! They have co!e so far in their relationship and they deserve the ending that they got. I think that Raven is a very strong woman. She went through he'll and managed to come back from it. It took her some time, but that was to be expected and Gave was there for her every step of the way. They are Reaper and Lady Reaper. They are Rage! 💜
I don't know what to say! The first half of the book was great but the second half was just aahhhh !It was like they were having sex all the time! Just to much for me!! I give it 3,75 stars. But I have to say I really enjoyed the story exept the sex part!
Love this series. Raven and Gage are fire and gasoline. Many twists, anger, love, and emotion. Can't stop reading after first chapter. Brilliant you can only dream to ride off with a member of the Death Dealers MC.
I don't really know what to say , i have said it all in reviews for the other books. One thing i will say is that this book really had me. I felt really for RAGE (Raven & Gage) .. I mean, the things that happened to her , i don't know how i would handle it. So i really felt for her and everybody , because it took a toll on everybody in the club. They al love her and treat her like the queen , but still she falls in depression because she is just broken and hurt. I loved reading how she started getting better , and just in general : i love this series. These are the first books i have read from this author and i will most defenitly check her other books out ..
I adored this series so much , it's so good and I'm going to miss the characters loads . It's really well thought out book and really explores the feelings of both leading characters . It doesn't rush into the sex scenes and deals with all aspects of a relationship . This instalment starts where tempted ends , it's a seriously a powerful place to begin a book and continues with very serious storylines but tackles them really well . I would definitely recommend this series and this author again.
Gage and Raven have gone to Hell and Back with each other-- supporting each other the whole time. The shocking twists the story makes -- making the reader very aware to know who your friends are and keeping your enemies closer. This is truly a love story inspite of all the trials this couple faces. The one thing they know is they TRUST each other --- and thats a good beginning. I love this Author she has made a series that I am enjoying completely
Wow, what a wild ride! Gage and Raven are an amazing power couple who prove that if drumsticks together, they can handle anything that comes their way! These two have been faced with so many obstacles over the three books that I was happy to see them end up in a good spot. The twists and turns were an honest surprise ( i was blaming someone else....oops)! I will definitely be recommending this series to others.
I did enjoy the love story and the MC in this serial. However, this didn't need to be a 4 part and I try to stay away from them. It is testimony that this was a good story that I did.
IN this part three Gage and RAven have admitted their love, there are issues in the club and some enemies out to keep them apart and hurt the club but not keeping him from claiming the woman he has come to love. She is strong enough to be the prez woman and few are that strong.
I only bought this book, cause I wanted to know how it would end. Im not very fond of trilogy books. Also It would have been better if it was just one book. However this story had potential. For me the story is a bit unrealistic, because they easy overcome their struggles. Also Raven is very undecisive. Maybe she is a typical teenagers or maybe she is just annoying.
Oh.My.God! Clubhouse Drama, Murder, Rape, Revenge, Mystery, Sex, Hot as Hell, melt your Kindle, soak your panties no d of sex!!!!!! Alana Sapphire did an amazing job keeping it real! the feelings and emotions that are pulled from the situations in this story are gut wrenchingly real! Amazing! Love this series and can't wait to read more!!!
This was good not great. Kind of dragged out then rushed. I wasn’t a fan of the length so I’ll stop here in the series, but that’s me too many books to read to buy half books. However the were good reads. You don’t get the MC vibe from the book, but the story and couple were good.
Raven who is a good girl, meets Gage who is the president of a motor cycle club. His club name is Reaper and he lives up to the name. After being raped Raven becomes a bad ass in her own right. Match made in heaven or hell, that's up to your digression. Fast moving good read.
Gage and Raven's story continues. Raven doesn't know who has it out for her or why. She does know Gage has been there and had her back from the beginning. Gage doesn't think he'll ever have love with running the mc, but things change daily with Raven. Will these two find there forever and solve the mystery? Read now and find out.
I love these two and their story your taken already no for the ride for the sex, murder and did I mention yummy sex. I want this to go on forever it's so good
Wow this is getting wicked hot Raven so wants more what anout Gage he is trying to be everything after what happened to her hus trying to find who it was. And wow the heat passion and sex off the charts you so need to read this
This book took up right where Tempted left off. There was plenty of everything the reader could want in Claimed; suspense, angst, happy times, great sex, and even love!!! Fantastic book!!! I'm really enjoying this series!
