Within these covers, you will find murderous dropbears, zombie kangaroos and undead camels. Poignant endings to the world mash-up with muscle car battles, featuring feral killers that make Mad Max look like the Disney channel. Everything is a Graveyard delves into the fantastic, the horrifying, the sad and the just plain weird.

Suitably nasty collection of horror stories, with a focus on zombies and the post-apocalypse. Some images are not going to leave my head in a hurry :-/ I now feel disturbed and somehow unclean, which I think is the author's intent. There are a couple of funny moments, and a few characters you cheer for even though everyone in this graveyard is a total misanthrope.
The best story is the title one, 'Everything is a Graveyard'. Muscle cars and drop bears. What more does a story need? Second best is, 'Undead Camels Ate Thier Flesh'. The title tells you everything you need to know.
Jason Fischer's short fiction is always a cracking read, and this collection amply showcases the strengths of this horror author. Here you'll find unsettling (and often deeply upsetting) tales of zombie uprisings, undead kangaroos, the collapse of civilisation due to drop bear infestations, and other descriptions of apocalyptic landscapes, all featuring empathic characters, and delivered in a strong Australian tone. A brilliant read.
