Holden's desire knew no limits. Holden's family respected no boundaries. Not to worry, Cherry can fix that. Cherry can fix anything...except herself.
Being in love with Holden, one of the notorious Latche twins, has freed Cherry from her ghosts. Now, she wants to help everyone -with or without their consent. Her unyielding opinions influence every relationship on the Latche family farm. While her involvement may not always be welcome, at least her intentions are pure.
And that's a problem.
Purity doesn't work for Holden. Abstinence is not a part of his womanizing agenda. Besides, Cherry has two secrets too many as far as he is concerned. The lack of information about her family and her intimate exchanges with Eric- the other notorious Latche twin.

Tracy Ball is a great writer. I've enjoyed a few of her stories very much, but this one misses the mark for me. It's a lot of drama going on in this family. The identical twins going around trying to pretend they are the other with their loved ones is very weird. Also, the fact that Cherry and Holden fall in love with each other and have no full on love scenes for the entire book, left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. They never consummate their relationship. As a result, I had to skip through a lot of unnecessary banter and this book was just way too long. It was a challenge to finish because I found myself not very interested in the Latche family drama (the twins' brothers' and sisters' family problems.) Anyway, I'd say pass on this one.
I absolutely loved this book. It was just plain fun, with some shocking twists, and without a doubt, a feel good happily ever after. It's done in the tradition of old school romance and as ever that truly rocks my world and my kindle. I thought the story line was very well carried through, the emotional conflicts well defined and addressed, and somehow with how very naughty these young men were I didn't hate them. I still liked them anyways, except Bruce! No spoilers contained but there is a definite villain in this and VERY UNEXPECTED. The character development was spot on and I had a definite feel for who each of the characters were. It had all the bells and whistles you expect in a well written romance novel. It's perfect for those days you just want to curl up on the sofa and get lost in a book. I highly recommend this read.
This is a story of an alluring young female student who moves to a new town and falls in love with an equally attractive man who, with his twin brother, are famous in those parts for their womanizing and propensity for partying. Her charms and good character bring the man with whom she falls in love (Holden) to a new level of fidelity and responsibility. Not everyone is happy about this development and he is challenged in his efforts to live up to her standards. The young woman, Cherry, has her own challenges, however. The characters in this book are light and lively. The plot moves briskly, a good romance for young adults in particular.
I have had this book for a small bit. At first, I put off reading it. I wish I had read it before now. The story of Holden and Cherry was great. I would like to see some of the other siblings get their own story in the future. I would love to see Bruce's story or Pattycakes. I would love to know what goes through those two's head. Also, definitely Eric. I did get kind of tired of seeing Eric and Holden going back and forth. I felt it was retold a few more times than necessary. Overall, this story of love and loss is amazing.
This is not at all the genre that I usually read but I am very glad I did. It's a beautifully developed story, with a family with a capital F who love and fight and love some more. Their love spills of the pages.
This book was kind of annoying in some ways. I didn't like the juvenile way that Holden and Eric kept switching up their identities to fool others. It was beyond childish. All of the men in the family were dysfunctional creeps. Sleeping around and just being manwhores. CW should have owned up to the truth. The women were correct in trying to better themselves and stop being doormats. I also didn't appreciate Holden claiming Cherry did not fight for him and that they were not finished yet. He also pined for an entire year. However, when he admitted to sleeping with the hooker, he claimed it wasn't cheating because they were broken up. What!? None of the men were deserving of these women including Holden.
I love this book! It had a great romance story with a twist of problems that people have when starting any relationship. Their past will view how they react and see things which really aren't the truth! It is a great story and I love how the family pulls together to make things work out! The author has a great way of keeping the story alive!

After I read this story, all I could think is "Wow, my life is so boring compared to these people and thank goodness for that." In this family, both genders stepped out on each other. Some more than others. At one point, the stepping out caused a paternity test which would've made even Maury Povich shake his head and yell out WTF. Mia (town hussy) slept with ever man on the farm -- back to back. Seriously, I read that and almost threw up in my mouth. Just ewwww!
The drama didn't end there. Then came the paternity results. SHOCKER!!
Did the excitement end there? NOPE. These people were made for Jerry Springer.
However when things finally calmed down, we got the HEA. Cue the applause machine!!
