Preparaos para conocer a los luchadores más sexys, salvajes e indomables de la UFC. Con ellos te reirás, enfadarás, disfrutarás, sufrirás, llorarás, pero una vez que acabes de leer de seguro te enamorarán. Estos son los protagonistas:
RILEY: junto con su hermano Camden son los llamados Gemelos del Terror. Sólo tienen 2 cosas en la cabeza: luchar y follar. Ambos usan a las mujeres como juguetes, llegando a compartirlas en múltiples ocasiones hasta que se topan con Asleigh, la mejor amiga de Gabriella. Asleigh accede a pasar una noche con cada uno, pero Camden (que es el más gilipollas de los 2, al menos al principio, la trata como a un objeto más que como a una persona, así que Asleigh no duda en ponerle en su sitio. Riley, por el contrario, se esfuerza en conocer a esta chica que le hace sentir cosas que nunca antes había sentido, pero Asleigh, viendo que está enamorando rápidamente de este luchador mujeriego, decide romper con él. Menos mal que con el tiempo y con la ayuda de Gabriella consigue volver con él. Pero Camden no está dispuesto a perder a su hermano por una mujer y les hace la vida imposible intentando romper su relación, llegando hasta tal punto que Riley decide romper los lazos con él.
CAMDEN: después de que su hermano Riley dejara claro que si tiene que escoger entre él y Asleigh, la va a escoger a ella, Camden se mete en el mundo de las peleas ilegales. Sus celos y el rechazo de su hermano, hace que al final lo rete en una pelea sin reglas, donde al final lo que verdaderamente pierde es a su familia. Pero tiempo después ayuda a Paxton y Gabby cuando ambos se meten en problemas con Scar, el jefe del circuito de peleas ilegales, lo que hace que tenga una diana en su espalda. Mason, ex luchador y ahora policía, le pone una escolta muy especial; Brooklyn. Ambos tienen muchas cosas en común, y es que ambos tienen cicatrices más allá de las físicas y juntos consiguen empezar a curar sus heridas.
GABRIELLA: personaje que aparece en todos los libros. Mejor amiga de Riley y Asleigh, juega un papel fundamental en su reconciliación. Amante de Tyler durante un corto espacio de tiempo, encuentra el amor en Paxton, amigo de Kyle y por tanto enemigo de su familia. Paxton se convierte en su entrenador y poco a poco en algo más. Es el único apoyo que tiene Camden hasta que éste cambia de vida, y juega un papel importante a la hora de que Kyle sea perdonado por sus pecados pasados.
TYLER: uno de los mejores amigos del hermano de Gabriella, por eso decide mantener su relación con ella en secreto, pero acaba tan pronto como empieza ya que él no está dispuesto a abandonar la soltería y la posibilidad de tirarse distintas mujeres cada noche, hasta que aparece Kacey. Kacey es la hermana de Kyle y es completamente diferente al resto, lo que hace que se enamore de ella, pero cuando Kyle pone en riesgo su vida, Tyler le da tal paliza a Kyle que lo deja en silla de ruedas arruinando su carrera de luchador para siempre.
PAXTON: ex mejor amigo de Kyle, ex novio de Kacey y antiguo participante de las peleas ilegales. El pobre se tiene que armar de paciencia a la hora de conquistar a la testaruda Gabriella y no duda en arriesgar su cuello varías veces para protegerla. Gran apoyo de Camden cuando éste está huyendo de Scar.
KYLE: este luchador se caracteriza por hacer lo necesario para ganar, sobre todo jugando sucio. Es el responsable de arruinar muchas carreras y de que su hermana casi sea violada por su agente. Pero cuando se queda en una silla de ruedas durante casi 2 años, le da tiempo a reflexionar y ver todo lo que ha perdido. Así que en cuanto recupera sus piernas, se presenta en el gym de Tyler dispuesto a hacer lo que sea para que su hermana lo perdone así como el resto. Pero no lo tiene nada fácil, todo el mundo le odia. Sólo Megan tiene fe en él, y gracias a ella tiene una oportunidad de volver a formar parte de la familia.
Me ha enganchado desde el principio y no hay nada que me gustaría más que ver la segunda generación en acción. Los futuros hijos de los gemelos si se parecen en algo a los padres traerán el terror tanto dentro como fuera del ring.
Os recomiendo los libros. Yo de seguro los releeré en el futuro.

I loved book 1-4 so much. I couldn't put these stories down. If you love a good romance with bad boy MMA fighter this series is for you. Quick easy read and each story gives more details of each fighter.

>I am an independent reviewer. This boxed set contains 7 books – A Fighter’s Desire Book 1, A Fighter’s Desire Book 2, Tyler’s Undoing, Ryley’s Revenge, Paxton’s Promise, Camden’s Redemption, and Kyle’s Return. Each story ends in an HEA.
>These books take place in the world of MMA fighters, both legal and illegal. The glimpses into the illegal fighting world are scary. People will bet on anything, no matter how morally wrong it may be. These fighters are all alpha males. They are all man whores until the right woman settles them down. Kyle and Camden are actually really bad and not until the end of the series do they redeem themselves. They both went a bit too far, in my opinion, and I could not forgive or like them much at all.
>The hook ups in these stories are hard to keep track of. Every character slept with a different major character (or attempted to) by the time the series is over. I find it a bit hard to believe that they could just put all that aside and continue to be friends and hang out.
>This box set is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the series 4 stars.

LP Dover has managed to capture my heart and devotion by having all of her Gloves Off series in a boxed set. I have spent the last week reading one after the other, blissfully indulging the the entire series. Each book stands on it's own, blending into the next without a pause or gap. By reading the series back to back, I have a new appreciation for the way each character is unique, contributing to each story, not just their own.
LP Dover has filled the Gloves Off series with villians that leave you broken hearted, women who stand up for themselves and others, fighters who leave you breathless and wanting more. Everyone has a past, has something they want to forget, keep hidden. Only the great ones can recover, earn forgiveness and move on to live a better, stronger life.
I can't wait to read more!
