Jeff Lindsay lives in Florida with his wife, author Hilary Hemingway, daughter of Leicester Hemingway, Ernest Hemingway's brother.

Lindsay is best known for writing the Dexter series of novels. Several of his earlier published works include his wife as a co-author.

Jeff graduated from Middlebury College, Vermont, in 1975, and Celebration Mime Theatre's Clown School the same year. He received a double MFA, in Directing and Playwriting, from Carnegie-Mellon University, and has written 25 produced plays. He has also worked as a musician, singer, comedian, actor, TV host, improv actor, and dishwasher.

love the dynamic between dex and deborah

This is the 4th issue of 5 in a Dexter comic series, and this issue was the most exciting issue so far. This issue carries forward the plot from the previous issues, so I wouldn't recommend starting in the middle. If you have read the first three issues, everything comes to a head in this one before ending at a crucial moment, leaving you scrambling for the 5th and final issue of the series. This issue was action-packed, and I've found these comics to be a pretty fun adaptation of the Dexter novels and TV series.

This one was not as exciting as Dexter #3, but it was still okay. Dexter and Deb are trying to figure out why the first victim was killed. They think that knowing this information will help them to solve the case. By the end of Dexter #4, Dexter finds himself in a world of trouble. You get a lot of the classic dynamic between Dexter and Deb that you see on the tv show Dexter in this installment, so that was nice. Other than that, the only purpose that this installment serves is to move the story along. I am excited to see how it all ends.

Devreaux's body is identified, but Dexter and Deborah know that Gonzalez is up to something. They try to think of a solution until the FBI take over the case. This issue ends on a cliffhanger, with Dexter getting drugged by Gonzalez.

Started of with this book and then went back and read the books, 1, 2, and 3 to understand the back story of this book.

In many ways, the main character has a sense of humor about him which seems incongruous with the job he holds and his hobby.
