I’m not a mom. Well, I’m not a woman, for that matter, but every once in a while I like to read books that sound interesting, and are outside my favourite genres.

Boss Mom was indeed an interesting read. This book is primarily meant for women who want to 'build' a family and a business. It provides a range of suggestions, examples and resources in order to achieve both things

It was insightful to read Dana Malstaff’s personal experience, to follow the struggle that brings raising two children while building a successful business, but also to share her joy and achievements. The way she did it made me think more broadly of what it means to be a good parent and a successful entrepreneur, which is a goal many people aspire to.

Overall, Boss Mom was an engaging, short read. The author’s style is smooth, and it feels almost like reading a collection of well written blog posts.

Suggested to moms who want to build a business and raise a child, without feeling guilty to want them both.

This book started off strong for me but then I realized it’s not for me at this point in my life. If I would have read this BEFORE I had my now 8 year old, this would been golden. Overall great points and skills for a new mom with a new business venture.

Dana has great wisdom AND she cares about her community, which is important. I wish this book had been available years ago when my girls were babies.

Great Book for Mom's Seeking to be Entrepreneurs

This may not have been a complete guide to helping a Mom be able to figure out to do it all in their lives, but it was an inspirational and encouraging book to read.
