「大學就是要談戀愛！所以我變身『聯誼魔』，卻鳥事一堆……好不容易看上一個女生，卻感冒發燒，臥病在床；讓人想像力無限膨脹的京都女大生，卻變成「關西歐巴桑四人組」；原本想破壞朋友的戀情，卻意外讓他們交往！拉不下臉的我只好自圓其說地說，『感謝我吧，這可是我想的妙計啊……』」

Keigo Higashino (東野 圭吾) is one of the most popular and biggest selling fiction authors in Japan—as well known as James Patterson, Dean Koontz or Tom Clancy are in the USA.
Born in Osaka, he started writing novels while still working as an engineer at Nippon Denso Co. (presently DENSO). He won the Edogawa Rampo Prize, which is awarded annually to the finest mystery work, in 1985 for the novel Hōkago (After School) at age 27. Subsequently, he quit his job and started a career as a writer in Tokyo.
In 1999, he won the Mystery Writers of Japan Inc award for the novel Himitsu (The Secret), which was translated into English by Kerim Yasar and published by Vertical under the title of Naoko in 2004. In 2006, he won the 134th Naoki Prize for Yōgisha X no Kenshin. His novels had been nominated five times before winning with this novel.
The Devotion of Suspect X was the second highest selling book in all of Japan— fiction or nonfiction—the year it was published, with over 800,000 copies sold. It won the prestigious Naoki Prize for Best Novel— the Japanese equivalent of the National Book Award and the Man Booker Prize. Made into a motion picture in Japan, The Devotion of Suspect X spent 4 weeks at the top of the box office and was the third highest‐grossing film of the year.
Higashino’s novels have more movie and TV series adaptations than Tom Clancy or Robert Ludlum, and as many as Michael Crichton.

Cuối tuần đổi gió với món ăn nhẹ của idol- tác giả Higashino Keigo.
Có lẽ fan ruột đã quá quen thuộc với thể loại trinh thám của sensei rồi, nên khi trên tay tập truyện ngắn Hồi đó chúng ta là những kẻ ngốc, cảm giác như... tui đang ngồi cafe bệt ở công viên, và nghe sensei kể chuyện phiếm vậy!
“Hồi Đó Chúng Ta Là Những Kẻ Ngốc": 2.5/5sao.
Nói thật, quyển này như một cuộn phim VHS cũ kỹ. Sensei đưa tui về những năm tháng áo trắng, xe đạp, hò hẹn trốn thầy cô ở Nhật Bản. Nếu bác Ánh là "người bạn lớn" kể chuyện tuổi thơ với cái chất Việt Nam, hồn nhiên, trong sáng hoặc lấm lem bùn đất quê nhà, thì tác giả Keigo lại kể bằng cái cảm giác : khô khan và hơi xa lạ.
Tui không đánh giá cao, vì tổng thể nó êm quá, không đủ "lửa" để tui phải xuýt xoa. Cảm giác như đang ăn một món Nhật được nêm nếm hơi nhạt so với khẩu vị cay nồng của mình vậy.
Ừ thì hoài niệm, ừ thì tuổi trẻ, nhưng mà nó… thiếu cái "kịch tính" Keigo quen thuộc.

小說家寫起散文，真是不可思議的好看─村上春樹是一例，東野圭吾的這本書也是。為什麼小說家的散文會這麼引人入勝了呢？想了想，可能是因為長期鍛鍊，使得小說家們有「跳脫真實人物卻又可以把角色寫得逼真」的能力，因此當寫起自己的經歷時，便可毫無顧忌地循著「非虛構/稍稍虛構」脈絡，再運用渾然天成的客觀描述，就把場面搞得精彩非凡。
這本書是作者回顧從國三放牛班到重考一年考進最末位公立大學的大小鮮事，當蠢蛋笨蛋事蹟通通變成了詼諧的養分後，青春自此完全脫去了澀味，回顧人生也就成了一番品評醇厚滋味的饗宴了。
很有趣的一本書，看過後，應該也會興起笑說當年「醜」的慾望的。

這個日本人看了會比較有感覺，提到很多酷斯拉、原子小金剛一直到好幾好幾代，身為華人真的沒有感覺，其他的拉拉雜雜學生打混事就笑一笑吧！其中去柑仔店抽籤這種遊戲，現在還買得到，我母親也跟我提過小時候去抽一張的樂趣，真的會有獎，大小不一樣而已，並沒有像書中說的詐騙。當然看到李小龍Bruce Lee的眼睛會為之一亮，我這一輩看新聞媒體也會知道他的偉大，東野年紀正好與我父母親差不多，我也聽過父親提過當時的轟動，至於獨臂刀王王羽Jimmy Wang我是知道的，《武俠》Dragon (2011 film)我去電影院看了，能一睹大俠的風采實之甚快，劇中甄子丹Donnie Yen也砍斷了手臂也是對王羽的致敬。
