I couldn’t picture a more perfect ending for Theron and Eve! I am overcome with pure joy for these two and their future! I love meeting characters that touch you in a way that they stay a part of you and these two are definitely going to be in my heart forever! I loved them so much I consumed book 2 like my life depended on it! Amazing couple, tragic yet beautiful story and I can’t wait to see these two again in reflections!

This book is a continuation from Book 1, Shadows. It was a perfect follow-up book. The drama was engaging, and I couldn't wait to see what challenges Theron and Eve would face next. I really enjoyed how everything was wrapped up in the end. Theron and Eve are truly memorable characters who I was glad to have spent time with.

The story picks up where it ended in Shadows. Light is proving to give me quite the conniption as I think to myself "My my my, how the tables have turned." My need to call Eve, Needy Evie, fades as I see her grow into the woman I know she has to be for her man. Chapters filled with plot twists and jaw dropping scenes I read on.
The song, Freak of the Week, blares through my speakers as my playlist fits perfectly with this book. An intense sex scene unveils before my eyes and I'm forced to shake my head as I say, naughty naughty. Can you say STEAMY??
The author captures the passion, the turmoil, and most importantly my attention. I cannot leave this book alone. I read on and I swear my playlist is reading this book with me because without a beat it switches perfectly with the turning of the page. I read on a sweet scene where they are needing each other and Show Me Love by Sam Fedlt is playing out. This author makes my heart soar and my panties... Well, I'll just leave that hanging in the air! I'm afraid to admit that this book is turning me into a sap and a pervert. Well done Amber, I'm now officially a pervert like you. lol
This book had me squinting! It's like I had to beg my eyes! Like "Dude, we're wearing glasses. We don't need to squint!" But it's so freaking unbelievable. You just had to squint at the way the author had with words. I am in LOVE! Dearest Author, will you marry me? I'm not sure if you know, but I believe in my heart that Alice is my kin! lol. I am the mayor of Lola Land and she is probably some direct relative, twice removed because she was different. The mention of Alice in Wonderland in your book, just put you in my Fave list, as if you weren't already there.
You did something that no other author has done before. You've brought me to tears. The Weekn'd's, Earned It, is playing in the background as this beautiful scene unfurls before me. I am content. I have loved every twist and turn that this journey has taken me on. I look forward to any book you produce in the future! You have earned the stars I am giving you. No one has ever broken my heart, made me cry and patched the pieces back together like you have. This book is a must read and must have in paper back! I'm buying it for all my friends! I have been waiting to get my hands on this book since the very dramatic cliffhanger in the last book! While a little slow to get into at first, once I did I could not put this book down!! This amazing sequel to Amber Lacie's Shadow series has everything that makes up a great book! It has lots of steaming hot passion, a boat load of hotter than hot sex, secrets that could break a couple apart, a stalker leaving notes, a devil of a father, and a love that goes above and beyond anything imaginable.
Light is not a stand alone! You need to have read the first book Shadows in order to really understand what is going on in this one. I am completely captivated and intrigued with the love and relationship that Theron and Eve share. Their love is an all consuming one, although it came off as a little abrupt and strong in the first novel.
Light leaves off with Theron in a dark place after the death of his grandma and him calling out revenge on his father who is to blame for it all. Eve must be the beacon of light in his life that draws him back from his darker nature. When secrets between the two are ripped out into the open, will it bring them even closer together or break them apart forever? When danger comes upon them, you will soon find out.
This was an epic conclusion to the series and I couldn't have asked for a better ending for Theron and Eve's story. I can't wait to see what else Amber Lacie has in store for us next.

I could not wait to get my hands on this book! I will admit that I stalked the author begging for this book. I needed to know what happened next. I needed more Eve and Theron. I needed answers and answers I got!
This book picks up right where Shadows ended. The story had me from the start and I could not put it down. My heart hurt for Theron and the pain he was experiencing. This story was full of twists and turns, betrayals and OMG moments! Also the hot and steamy connection between Eve and Theron was still there.
This was the perfect conclusion to Eve and Theron's story. I would love to read more about the side characters. Evan was my absolute favorite.

Amazing book!
I feel in love with Theron and Eve in book 1 and even more so in Light!
The chemistry is undeniable and it has just the right amount of sex, love, and suspense. Did not want to put it down but loved the ending!!!
Amber Lacie is a very gifted author and I cannot wait to read more of her works!!!

WOW is all I can say this was a well played, well written, beautifully unfurled, multi-layered read. What you think is happening isn't. The characters . . . well they are both a mess. She is young and sheltered and really not prepared for the mess that is surrounding this guy and all who are close to him. When she finds out all there is and the connections it's more than she can handle but then she turns the tables and becomes the one keeping secrets. Keeping secrets that can kill. Secrets that can harm. When the shoe is on the other foot will she accept the same consequences or expect forgiveness. When all he loves is threatened by the man who is supposed to love and protect him, who is consumed by destroying him, what can he do that wont threaten his hea? This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. The intrigue, action, secrets, lies, it's all consuming. It is emotional. It will stretch you. They will have to choose to stay in the light and away from the darkness that is trying to overpower them.

This book picks up where Shadows lets off. You will need to read book 1 to know what is going on. After finishing book 1 with a broken heart I stocked up on tissues and chocolate to start this book.. That being said don't worry guys book 2 mended my poor heart. Like any of Amber's books this one is full of twists and turns, then some ups and downs. But this book will keep turning the pages to know what is gonna happen next. I was literally up most of the night reading these books. I had to know!! My husband ended up having to make me put the book down and go to bed. But who can sleep when there are answers that need to be answered. This book deserves way more then 5*s. This is a total must read, go get your copy of book 1&2 now, you wont be sorry I promise you that

Light takes place after Shadows, Book 1, ends so you must read the first to know what's going on. Book 1 ended and left me upset and needing to find out how it all worked out. Amber definitely broke my heart with book 1, but book 2 definitely mended it and then some. The ups and downs and twists and turns Theron and Eve go through will keep you turning the page faster than you can read. Just like in book 1, the characters are so real and so well written that you get swept up in their stories. This book, and this series, deserves more than 5 stars. It's an excellent read and you'll fall in love with Theron. I highly recommend this and the series!!

This is the second novel in this amazing series. We continue to follow Eve and Theron as they try to navigate through the shadows that are surrounding. Theron's world is shattering around him. This novel is exceptionally ddeveloped and write with no plot holes. The characters are realistic with real emotions and flaws. This book is very captivating & you will not be able to put it down. This novel offers Hit Steamy Sexy Scenes!, Mystery!, Secrets! Lies! & Intrigue! An amazing epic conclusion to the series. This novel ties in perfect from the first book to this one. I highly recommend reading this series as you will not be disappointed

I had to jump straight into Light after reading Shadows. I just couldn’t let Eve and Theron go.
After tragedy strikes, Theron retreats into a world of darkness and Eve is the only light.
When Eve finds herself in trouble, Theron will stop at nothing to save her. If he loses her, the darkness will consume him.
Amber has a way of grabbing you by the heart and throwing ALL the punches! Her writing style is raw, gritty and completely realistic. Her characters are so well-developed and her story lines are fast moving and easy to read.
This is an absolute must-read for lovers of romance; however it is not appropriate for readers under 18.

Holy hell! This couple just keep ripping my heart out! Light is book two in the A Love Ever After Series and kicks off right where Book 1 ended.
I swear my heart couldn't take any more but I was determined to see how this was going end. If you thought the first book was fast paced, this will have your head spinning like a top and leave you struggling for breath.
Theron and Eve have a connection that makes my heart soar, individually broken but together they can breathe and cast light on their shadows. Lord, I was not expecting half of this but Damn, it kept me turning the pages!

This second installment of A Love Ever After Series, Light, is a continuation of Theron and Eve’s story. This contemporary romance started off much the same as the first, with a very traumatic event bringing the two together to fight for love, laughter, life…..light. After falling in love with the characters in the first book, I was pleasantly surprised that coming back to them in the second book felt like coming home. Suspense, mystery and romance guarantee to leave you aching for more. Thank goodness there appears to be a next in series to look forward to!

Not only do they face real danger from outside factors, they both have inner demons clawing to take control. This book will take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride, making it worthy of a place on your must read list.

The book overall was good. I would have liked a little more focus on Theron's back story. His constantly calling her beautiful was a bit over done for me, even though I understood why he called her that. Definitely a lot of action and great sex! :-) This is the second book of Amber's that I've read and I will be reading more of hers.

What an interesting love story. There's so much going on it could jump in a lot of genre. Action, romance, erotica, and maybe some thriller. This book brings you to your knees with feelings of love, sadness, and happiness. It's the second in the series so make sure you read the 1st, Shadows so you'll know the characters from the begining.

Is there light after darkness!
Wow! What an amazing conclusion to Theron and Eve's story. This series packed full of dangerous twists, secrets and etc.. With everything these two have been through will they get their happy ending or will the secrets tear them apart for good. I really enjoyed reading this and I'm excited for the third book.

I love Eve and Theron!!! Great characters and even better as a couple. I devoured this baby. It was worth it. Light kept me on the edge of my seat. What a great series. I cant wait to read Reflections next.
You seriously don't want to miss out on this series. So yes, you'll need to read Shadows first. Go on, its worth it.

another amazing book in this series! its about a man who loses something very dear to him. so he seeks revenge. can his girlfriend pull him from the dark? or is it to late for them both? thanks for giving me a chance to read this book!

At first, i struggled to invest myself in this story. But a third of the way in i was glad i stuck to it. Thats when the drama happens and my god its explosive. I just wish i could love them more together. I want to bash their heads together. But the crazy action makes up for it.

As Eve and Therons story continues I just knew it would get worse before it got better. They had demons to face and overcome and kept reading faster as I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. This is a brilliant trilogy and can't wait to start book 3.

An exciting conclusion to Shadows!! Poor Eve...she went through more than anyone should ever have to deal with to get to her happy ending. Thank goodness Theron never let her go through any of it alone, and neither did her family. She truly deserves all that Theron brings into her life after surviving his father's wrath. Poor Theron certainly deserves his happiness too. After growing up with a father that truly hated him, he could have been a completely different man, but he was amazing. And I so hope Evan gets his happily ever after at some point!!
