Jett’s Wild Wolf is book three in the Mystic Wolves series by Elle Boon. In this book we meet Zayn and Niall Malik’s best friend and pack mate, Jett Tremaine. Jett came to the Mystic River Pack along with the Malik brothers. They were childhood best friends. Jett works at the Chaps bar with the Maliks and is also a part time drummer for the band there. He has no interest in a permanent mate even though he is happy for his friends who recently found their mates. He has no problems at all attracting beautiful women and enjoys his freedom.
Taryn Cole is the daughter of Keith, the evil alpha of a near by pack. We first met Keith in the first book when he attempted to kidnap Cora. In this book, we finally learn the depths of Keith’s darkness. He wants to hurt the Mystic River Pack in any way possible and doesn’t care how. We also learn of his connection to the pack and what started his vendetta. We didn’t know that he had a daughter, though. But she is nothing at all like her father. Taryn has spent her life trying her best to survive in any way possible. Her life is filled with abuse, pain and fear. But she’s a tough one.

The first time Taryn and Jett saw one another was in book two but neither knew who each other was. But they both felt the pull, something neither of them could fight. But it’s that distraction that almost cost Jett’s alpha his mate, something he would never forgive himself for. But as soon as Taryn came into the bar where Jett was performing, he knew right away she was back and he couldn’t take his eyes off of her.
I really enjoyed this book. Taryn and Jett were both perfect together. Their chemistry was crazy hot! Neither of them trusted easily, especially Taryn. How could she? But when Jett was injured and could die, she didn’t even hesitate to save him at great cost to herself.
Keith was pure evil but I was surprised as to what his connection to the pack was. I can’t believe that Taryn was even his daughter. One thing I really like about the Mystic River Pack is their closeness. They have each other’s backs, no matter what. They are like one huge family. Could Taryn dare hope that she could be part of such a thing? The concept is so far from anything she ever experienced herself.
This is the last book of the series and things seem to be pretty much wrapped up. A couple little things that bugged me that never got explained was that at one point Jett found a little nugget of darkness planted in his mind but it is never explained how it got there, who put it there. Also, a new character is introduced with an obvious connection to Taryn, Taya, but it is never explained exactly who Taya is.
This has been a fun series. Even though each book is about a different couple, it’s still best to read them in order since the underlying story theme runs throughout. I enjoyed my visit to the Mystic River Pack and I hope you do too.

Elle Boon has written another fast paced, sexy shifter book. I love the world she has created and taken me to time and time again.

There is more going on that night, and as a result Jett's life could be forfeit. Taryn manages to convince the Mystic Wolves she can help, not an easy task when she has the scent of the ones who attacked. However, she is more than willing to sacrifice herself if she fails to save Jett.
Taryn has more than one secret, and the revelations are not only shocking but intriguing as well.
I'm am thoroughly enjoying this re-read. I had forgotten how twisted things were outside of the Mystic and Iron Wolf packs.
Intense, with hold your breath action and plenty of heat as yet another Mystic Wolf gets his mate.

I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review.
We are back with the third instalment from Elle Boon Mystic Wolves series , this one is a corker as we finally see cocky Jett get hit by the love bug.
Taryn has yearned for her freedom for as long as she can remember she yearns to find a place where she can truly belong. A place where she can be loved and where she could love without any fear. The first time she ever laid her eyes upon Jett, her heart skipped a beat and she knew from that moment on that he was the only one for her.
Jett is sexy as sin just as charismatic and cocky. He had very nearly lost his life as well as his place in the Mystic Wolves pack because of one feisty wild wolf. Now, she has only gone and saved him from a certain death. his wolf wants what it wants and it wants her for their very own.
Will he be able trust her not to betray them all?
Taryn and Jett try to fight there attraction to one another even though fate has other ideas for this unlikely pair.
Now Danger is upon them once more will they survive this vicious fight? Or will there love end just as hard as it began.
And Elle has done it again got me hooked on yet another yummy shifter of hers.... man she gives me the best man candy ever..... as if that's not enough she gets me so emotional invested and involved with the Heroine Taryn...... Jett is such a cocky son of a gun he is sexy suave has all these hot as hades tattoos and a piercing that is made for sin, yet he still has misgivings about the mistakes he made that nearly cost his Alpha his mate he questions his place in the pack. Jett is one of those characters which you totally connect with he is so likeable even with his cockiness he I thought and found rather endearing and then some. yes i got a crush on his as well but hey who wouldn't :)
Taryn is amazing seriously she totally grabs at my soul as well as my heart she is such a fighter she has been through some abominable things because of her evil father yet she has come out still normal how the heck that happened is amazing I swear fate had a hand in that. Taryn has sass and gumption a mile long I love her sooo hard.
My favourite bit mmm im going to sound so bad well it involved some nekidness and the hood of a vehicle ... if you get my drift ... lol
What i am most intrigued about and what I need Miss Boon To write about like asap is Bronx and Taya ... man I see such chemistry already pleaseeeee Elle Write there story dont leave us hanging.

Oh...Jett. He's a bad boy. :) The good kind. Oh there were times I wanted to wallop him. He still found a place in my heart. Taryn I just loved her. I felt so bad for her. She's had ONE TOUGH LIFE! Daughter of a crazed Alpha. I'm not giving everything away but dang lots of lives are intertwined in this series in one way or another. Love it. Taryn is a healer and she can shift into more than one animal. Cool is that? I am not giving away what she turns into, but its bad ass. She is bad ass. Jett denies his feelings for Taryn pretty hard. I mean heck yeah he wants her but as a mate? No, hes not ready for a mate and doesnt want one. After doing the horizontal tango with Jett she flees. Main reason is she needs to hide from Keith, her crazed father/Alpha but also because she felt that rejection and Jett's not trusting her and thinking of her as a traitor. Ouch. Well someone gets Jett to realize the error of his ways and he realizes how much he screwed up with Taryn and tries to find her. He came around after that. Then he just couldnt let her go. :) Loved the story and cant wait for more!

Taryn has a monster for a father and suffers much at his hands. My heart broke for her with all she went through. When she least expects it, Jett comes into her life and they are scorching together. Her father is definitely an obstacle they have to overcome as he wants nothing more than to destroy the Mystics and her. I so loved that Jett was all alpha with her wanting to protect and love her. I so enjoyed their story and can't wait to read more of this series.

Jett, a drummer in a great band and best tracker Mystique Wolf pack has, found a woman who makes his wolf giddy and had his mind a d body going crazy.
Taryn, a she wolf/fey trying to just stay alive, goes to watch the man she is crushing on play at the bar.
After the band is done playing all hell breaks loose and this is just the beginning.
Will Jett and Taryn get to know each other? Will Taryn survive the abuse her so called father/alpha dolls out? Can Jett save her before its to late?

Finding your place and finding the one, life’s story. This duo have to overcome some obstacles but in doing so they find each other. Again great characters and and ever evolving storyline. I think this series is best read in sequence as the characters fit in better that way but that’s up to you as they can be read alone but the story has more if read in order. Great read for paranormal lovers or romance

I received this ARC Book for an unbiased opinion and fair review.
Damn! I couldn't stop! I was glued to my tablet from beginning to end! I even re-read it twice just to make sure I was getting every juicy yummy word out of it before I ran over here to start typing!!!!! I usually wait until the next day before writing a review just so I can be as open minded as possible. But This one is so GREAT I couldn't wait!
In book 1 I was so loving Zayn and Cora...by book 2 I was in love with Niall and Alaina ( I was so wanting her out of the way to have him for myself...Okay creepy I know) BUT...in book 3 Jett stole all my love for him and Taryn! They are perfectly matched. The chemistry shoots off the charts! And the sex...You don't want to get me started about the sex....Lets just say just a few adjectives and call it done... Brazen, Scintillating, Intense, Magical, Orgasmic, Heated, Titillating, Sizzling, and Explosive...just to name a few! Though I was a bit indignant over the desecration of a 1971 Road Runner's Hood...Lol I could forgive it as the sex was so hot I melted reading it.
Ms. Boon took me into her world and held me captive for the duration of the tale. Her vivid details and intense approach to setting the scene is one of the skills I admire the most from her books. The skillful weaving of elements from her Iron Wolves series with this series was brilliant! Now I can't wait for Bronx and Taya's story to be told. And as for the other sub-characters...I just know the one about the twins will curl my toes.
This book brings together a few of the mysteries from the first two books answering questions about how people tie in together and why the Alpha from the neighboring pack has a vendetta against the Mystic Wolves Pack. It also opens up a whole new line of stories with secondary characters too. I would say Ms. Boon's Tale has far exceeded her previous two books and is setting a tone for more intense drama and hotter relationships in the future books. All in all I would shout to the Heavens "Buy This Book! Its worth every penny!"

We finally get to see Jett succumb to the mating bond. Woohoo! This is the third book in this series and they must be read in order. This book focuses on Jett and the mystery woman from the end of the last book. The mystery woman’s name is Taryn and she knows the first time she sees Jett that they are meant to be together but she has a terrible home life and doesn’t think anyone deserves to have her problems become their problems. Then one night things get out of control and Jett is hurt by wolves from her pack. There is only one way for Taryn to help him and she doesn’t without a second thought. However by helping him she can’t go back to her pack and it’s only a matter of time before her father comes to Mystic for her and for the revenge he has been planning for a while. Keith, Taryn’s father is one very scary messed up man. He has plans for the wolves of Mystic and he ready to put them into action. Will the wolves of Mystic be able to protect themselves from Keith and his wolves? Will Jett and Taryn be able to have their happily ever after or will Keith mess that up too? I can’t say enough about this book or this series. I can’t wait for the next book in this series, I need it now!! Taryn is my favorite female character so far. She has been through so much but is still so strong. Jett had no plans on settling down with a mate but when he saw Taryn he knew without a doubt now if he could just get her to stop doing a runner. Elle Boon is a fantastic author and I have picked up another series of hers to read next while I wait for her next book in this series.

Another delicious, fast-paced, sexy-as-all-get-out book in Elle Boon's CRAZY ADDICTIVE Mystic Wolves series! I think Jett is my number 1 so far in this series! I loved how bad-ass yet incredibly protective and sweet he was with Tayrn. And Taryn was one hell of a strong woman. After suffering from some terrible abuse, she still shows a lot of strength. Her powers are remarkable and her kindness toward others is breathtaking. Now that Jett finally caught his wild wolf, he claims her in every wicked and delicious way as possible.
The connection between these two is wicked strong. From the undeniable attraction, to the protective urges both had for one another. Jett's Wild Wolf was full of action, danger, sexy wolf shifters, magic, and all sorts of HOT sex! To say this book is awesome would seriously be putting it mildly! Now to say this book is fun and completely outstanding might be getting closer to how I feel about this book. I was totally focused on this book and this book alone from the moment I started reading. A 5 star read.This story is about Taryn a wolf mix, a demon alpha and Jett of the Mystic wolf pack.. Taryn doesn't knows what the mix is as she was created by her demon alpha.
Jett is an enforcer for the for the Mystic Wolves pack.
Taryn returns after being gone for awhile and is confronted by her alpha. He wants to know where she has been. She answers him and he doesn't like her answer. He hits her with his extended claws and slashes her cheek. Then next hit is breaking her ribs. He then taunts her by stating, "Let's see how much more you can stand?" and drops her. She attempts to protect her head, knowing that it's the most important part of her body. Alpha continues to kick and hit her. When is done the alpha orders someone to help her and her two friends take her to her room. They stay with her protecting her from those who would take advantage of her when she wouldn't be able to protect herself.
Once she has healed she goes to town and out with her "town" friends to a bar. There she sees Jett, on stage, behind a drum kit, pounding out the beat to the song.
Jett smells spiced honey and sin over the smell of sweat and beer. He looks up for the source of the smell and knows the scent of the one woman who distracted him when he needed to stay focused.
The storyline is well written and thoughtout. It was a great story, holds your interest and I enjoyed reading it. Taryn and Jett do have a HEA.

An engaging and sexy read!!
We meet Taryn Cole as she is being beaten by her Alpha Keith and accused of visiting the Mystic Wolves as he lets out his beast and tears into her breaking multiple bones and requiring her friends Joni and Sky to carry her back to her simple room while they watch for 3 days for her to become conscious again. If Keith were not also her father she would not heal as fast not as completely as she ultimately does.
We next see Taryn later in a bar in Sturgis dancing with some girlfriends. She is attracted to the drummer Jett who she knows is a Mystic wolf. Jett senses her presence, and it unsettles his wolf. Previously being distracted by this “wild wolf” caused the Alphas family to be in a dangerous situation, and Jett is working to earn trust again. Keith’s unnatural wolves come and attack the Mystic wolves, and Taryn with her heritage ends up being the only one who can save Jett’s life.
They both feel the bond between them, and both have reasons to fight the growing attraction. A great view of pack dynamics, mate bonds and sizzling relationships. I especially enjoyed the juxtaposition of how the pack Taryn is from is run versus how the Mystic wolves are true family.

The only thing is that there were parts i felt a bit confussed and at times i was losing the emotion of the reading.I don't remember having read any of the previous books in the series and most of the times for me this is a set back.I find it hard reading books out of reading order cause i can't get into the climate of what has happened before and i always feel like i am missing something.
Still its a nice story with lots of action and funny moments.
The chemistry between the couple is in the hot scale.
This is a series i will definetely get to read despite the fact i started it from the 3rd book!

This book ties together a few of the mysteries from the first two books in the Mystic Wolves series and answering questions about how people tie in together and why the Alpha from the neighboring pack has a vendetta against the Mystic Wolves Pack. Taryn has been checking out Jett but when her father discovers what his daughter it up to, he beats her badly. Most other shifters probably would have died from the beating but Taryn isn’t your average shifter. Jett has already gotten in trouble with his alpha but being distracted by Taryn and he promised it wouldn’t happen again. Thing is … no one can tell when you meet your mate and Jett realizes Taryn might be his mate. Ms Boon sure knows how to tell their story – this one got it all - love, action, fun, steam (the naughty kind) and her heroine Taryn is definitely a perfect match for the sexy, strong, and fierce Jett! Can they figure the mysteries surrounding their packs or will the secret of their packs keep them apart?

Taryn has been living in hell her entire life. Her so called father the meanest, most violent shifter around. She's lower than low, been beaten for any transgression he can think of. But she hasn't stopped living, and crushing on Jett. Jett is the drummer for his band and a part of the Mystic Wolf pack. He's been a ladies man for years until his wolf decided it wanted the spicy scent of a certain female.
Poor Taryn has been abused and feels worthless. But she's such a strong female for someone whose lived through her life. Instead of living in fear, she's decided to live her life with no regrets and that's courage on its own. Jett is the bad boy biker of every girls dreams. He's tough and that's what makes him perfect. If only Taryn can work through her self worth issues and Jett can see past the thoughts in his head they'd be prefect together. I loved this book and had so much trouble with putting it down. It's packed with action and suspense. I was constantly wondering what would happen next. A real page turner.

When playing at a concert Taryns pack shows up looking for blood. When Jett is hurt badly Taryn can't turn her back on him cause after all he's her mate. With the threat of death if this is a trick she goes with the Mystic Pack. When her alpha finds out he's out for blood he hates the Mystic Pack with vengeance. i cant get over how much i love elle boons books the mystic wolves series is one of my favorite shiftier series i read Accidentally Wolf and His Perfect Wolf within a day and night i had no sleep but lots of snacks and coca cola thank god i had nothing to do the next day ;) i couldnt wait to get my greedy little hands on this book now i cant wait to read more :) i really like discovering new authors and elle was an awesome discovery i went through her books like that and they always hold my interest now im going through withdrawal :p poor Taryn i wanted to give her a hug i thought it was cool how her and jett meet i felt like an intruder in a way but also that i was witnessing something magnetic between the two it wasnt just jett that was protective of Taryn but she was also protective of him and i admire that in main couples in books when i book surprises me i know im going to love it i never like know exactly whats going to happen and dame there were some surprises the chemistry and sex was and always is HOT ;) in a boon book <3 cant wait to read more :)

But a sweet scent has captured his attention and it could not have happened at a worse time. Taryn has seen Jett around and knows that he is so far out of her league. But when his life hangs in the balance she will do whatever she can to make sure he lives. But will Jett repay her with gratitude or disdain? Ms. Boon doesn't make us wait to find out. Taryn gives Jett a run for his money and whether he is ready or not she will come to mean more than he expected. I really enjoyed the push and pull between Jett and Taryn. Taryn has suffered but still manages to maintain her belief in the good of others. I loved the strength that required and that Ms. Boon realized it. This story is well written and full of emotional depth. Taryn and Jett were flawed but likable and I enjoyed seeing them find their happily ever after.

Ah...Jett's Wild Wolf was an amazing installment in Boon's Mystic Wolves series. The story was rife with magic, passion, and possibilities. I love that the romance between Jett and Taryn wasn't as black and white as per the usual in paranormal romances. It wasn't an instant BOOM that declared them as mates with the frenzied mating that ensued. No. The passion in this story was a slow burn that led to love. But the journey there definitely wasn't an easy one. Taryn was plagued by her past and an evil father who aspired for power and revenge. I love how Taryn proved her loyalty to the Mystic Pack but I also love how they proved theirs for her when they helped Jett rescue her. I also love the connections that are emerging in the story. There are new characters who are connected in a number of ways and the connection with the far is even stronger. This series is exceptional and I highly recommend it for lovers of paranormal romance.
