Ericka has family issues; her parents are having a divorce. Because of this, she felt that she needed time for herself. She wanted to get away for a while to focus on herself and her dreams. Before she graduated in High School, she received a scholarship from one of the best universities in Seattle. She took this opportunity to get some space and accepted the scholarship immediately.
However, Ericka found worse than she expected. She was new to college and so many students bully her. One day, a student demeaned and embarrassed her in front of many people, but Jameson stopped him telling her crossed out of the line. From then, Ericka became friends with Jameson, and Jameson started protecting Ericka. Unexpectedly, they will fall in love with each other.
Despite their love, Ericka will feel terrified after finding out Jameson's secret of being a vampire. She will feel confused whether to love Jameson or not. In the end, Ericka will still choose to stay beside Jameson. Unfortunately, Jameson has been a bad and stubborn vampire, he made so many enemies back in the day. One of his rivalry, Jefferson will come back Seattle and seek revenge to Jameson. Jefferson knew that Jameson would be hurt enough if he makes Ericka a vampire.
