Seized by vise-like contractions, Colette Connor prayed she wouldn't deliver on the Connor ranch doorstep. With no recollection of who she was and how she got pregnant, she had nowhere else to turn. Only the knowing eyes, the incendiary kisses of stranger Hank Cooper disturbed her more.
With the keen instincts of a professional, Hank had anticipated Colette's arrival. But he hadn't been prepared for her amnesia - or the baby. While her missing memories might help protect her from a killer, they were defenseless against Hank - the only man who held the answers to all her questions...and more.
Not too bad, but not too great. It had sort of a slow-moving storyline that made it a bit lackluster. And the hero wasn't quite likable. Overall, an okay book that was lacking that special...something...to really capture the reader's attention.
Not my favorite book in the romance section but it was okay for one of those mind numbing books that you need after reading a huge massively complex Shakespearian type work.
I liked the suspense. I loved the plot. It was a good quick read. The ending was pretty good too, but the epilogue didn't really add anything I wanted.
