The detail is very good but a great opportunity as a first chapter would be a detailed explanstion of the tools/knives and how/where/when used. As a new carver as soon as I read “… use a veiner” I came to a stop then had to start googling to see what the various blades were and how to use them. I got displays of a number of veiners, gouges, etc for sale but found no books on use. A great show stopper and disappointment!
