When you love an outlaw, be prepared for the ride of your life.

Kellan - Everything worth having is worth fighting for. I should know. I bear more battle scars than most. I lost half my leg when an IED blew a hole through my Humvee in Afghanistan. Since I got back, I’ve done things to protect my MC that would make you afraid of me. And you should be. When I laid eyes on Mallory, I knew she was worth fighting for too. I wasn’t expecting it. She stepped into the spotlight in that hole in the wall bar singing the first slow, quiet notes of some rock song and that was all it took. I knew she was about to spin my world around and the timing couldn’t be worse. On the verge of a club war, everyone close to me could be at risk. But, just one look from Mallory was enough to change my life forever. Because no matter what, I knew I had to make her mine.

What I didn’t know is how much hell it would put us both through.

Mallory - I know what most men think when they watch me on stage. For one night, one moment, when I lock eyes with them from behind the shield of my microphone, they believe every note I sing is for them. My lie. My gift. My curse. But the night I first saw Kellan, I was telling the truth. That sexy smirk lifting the corner of his perfect, full mouth, those ripped muscles under denim and leather He had an air of raw power about him that made every other man in the room seem like a boy. Something about Kellan made my body hum. But, I can’t afford to need a man like him. Bad boys, no matter how good they feel always lead to trouble and pain. I know if I let him get too close, he’ll break me or leave me.

But when his lips brush mine and his fingers trail along my hips, I just can’t seem to say no.

"Then I heard Mallory cry out. It ripped through me like a bullet and heat settled in my belly. When she hurt, I hurt. And now I wanted to tear the world apart to get to her."

This was an alright read for me.
Nothing too exciting nothing too boring.
I mean I enjoy the simplicity of the characters and storyline.

There wasn't any drama that got me excited.
I feel like the enemy plotline continues to linger and is a mystery to the plotline which I feel a need for them to catch up.

"Does that make me your old lady? Am I officially a biker bitch? Do I get my own jacket?"

I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

"Kellan" is the fourth book in the Great Wolves M.C. Series, and I can honestly say this one has definitely been my favorite so far! Like the previous book, "Colt", it takes place in Lincolnshire, Ohio. So Colt is back along with the rest of the group there. And there are even appearances from Sly and Dex from the Green Bluff, California chapter. (Although if they've come all that way, you can be pretty sure it's because they're needed.)
Like all of these Alpha biker dudes, you can be sure that Kellan is gorgeously hot and delicious. But what made him even more special to me is the fact that he's a veteran soldier, and lost the bottom part of one of his legs while serving. But you'll never see him as having a handicap or feeling sorry for himself - he is a 100% all-American prime choice cut. His injury has made him more compassionate and understanding of those whose lives have taken a lot of bad or sad turns. He's a really "good" bad boy. Mallory, the heroine, lit the pages on fire all the way from page one. She's a singer in a band, "Mallory and the Malcontents" (I love that name!) When she sings she holds the whole audience in the palm of her hand. She is smoking hot and sexy and sensuous and every man in the audience wants her, including Kellan. Mallory isn't interested in these generic men, but when she sees this smoldering lustful biker guy, well, she just has to have a taste.
So when these two meet, there is bound to be instantaneous combustion. The chemistry starts hot and stays hot all the way through to the very end.
But Mallory isn't completely the tough Rock 'n Roll chick she would lead you to believe. She's been through a lot of tough circumstances in her life. She is genuine and down to earth and trying to hold everything together while her alcoholic father just wants to blow it all apart. She's also trying to be the responsible "parent" to her younger brother. Life has taught Mallory that the only one in life she can really count on is herself. Anyone else she's ever cared about has let her down. She is too afraid and distrustful to really let Kellan "in" for anything more than a little fun.
The story line in this book is so interesting and the romance is so intense, this is a book that is hard to put down. It has you from hello, and doesn't let go until the end. And leaves you wanting for more. I believe Sawyer is the next up in this series. If you've read any of the stories about the Great Wolves Gym in Grand City, Michigan, you already know a little about him. He is awesome, believe me, and I can hardly wait to find out more!
By the way, even if you're not familiar with these other books or series, don't let that stop you! When I first started reading "Kellan", my mind was in a bit of a fog because it's been a little while since I read the others. I recognized the names but couldn't remember a whole lot about them at first. Yet I still found this story fascinating! It's wasn't a drawback at all to not really remember who these all these other guys were. It was a pleasure to discover them all over again. If you don't mind coarse language and strong sex scenes, you will love this book. You don't even have to like motorcycles!

This is the fourth book in the Great Wolves MC series. I feel this book and the others in the series could be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend that you read them all in order. This is Kellan’s book; he is the Vice President of the Great Wolves Mc in Lincolnshire. As the club goes legit as business owners, Kellan has been put in charge of running the clubs bar, “The Wolf’s Den”. Kellan’s job is to scout out a live band to further profits of the bar. This is how we meet our heroine Mallory, she’s good with the crowds, talented, sexy, and the one person Kellan should not touch. This book has action, suspense, and some serious sexy times. I love the new characters brought into this story and look forward to their books. Kellan’s back story was an excellent story; it made me fall in love with him pretty hard. I enjoyed the chemistry between Kellan and Mallory, I also loved that the author brought back a couple other characters from other books for us to get caught up with. I look forward to continuing this series and love the spin-offs as well. I recommend this series to those who love action MC books.

Great Wolves MC (1-4)

Was gonna wait till the end of the series before reviewing, but there are 10 books and a lot happening. Dex has just been released from prison after serving 13 yrs on false evidence. He returns to his club who sent someone for him along with his bike. Before his arrest he'd been the club's VP, a role he's voted back into. He'd been close to Ava too. But someone wants to send him away for good. Sly, Dex, are trying to make the club pay totally ligit, someone's trying to stop them, Scarlett's job is to stop Sly permanently, she's good at her job. Colt returns to his home turf, looks up his local branch, it's not what he's used to. They are into some dodgy dealings. He tells them what could be, the Prez isn't interested, Colt gets into a lot of trouble. Kellan remembers him from old, together they try to change things to new, the club's doing well then things start going wrong, people leaving because of threats, Sly & Dex come a calling and they all go after those causing the problems. This is a short take on 4 excellent books, they are excellent books, Jayne Blue is a new author to me, but a very good one, I'm moving on to book 5 now, Can't wait ..............

I was intrigued by Kellan’s story/past when it was briefly told in Colt and I was excited to know more about him.
I absolutely loved Kellan and Mallory together, I loved the sparks they had right from the beginning. I found the first time they met (in Kellan’s POV) very hot, I loved how he saw her. I thought their interactions were great with some very hot scenes between them. Also loved the interactions between all the other characters especially with the MC brothers and Mitch, I found him to be such a cute character.
There were quite a few parts where I wasn’t a big fan of Mallory’s, there was something about her then that annoyed me a little. I would love to have known more about Kellan though but I’m excited to read about what happens next in the following books

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book

I was really disappointed in the female character...I just couldn't connect with her. She really ruined it for me. I felt like Kellan deserved a more mature and confident woman and not this wish washy young adult.

To me, the chemistry fell flat...the suspense of what was going on with the MC was great but the author spent way to much babble on the female issues and it was just boring for me...had the MC's issues taken front and center and her issues taken the background, this would have been a more enjoyable read for me.

Every so often, i like to read something different. It takes a lot for me to find a MC book that appeals to me. Kellan is definitely one of those books and i loved it that much that i read it rather quickly. It's brilliant and fun to read, I've read the other three in the series before this one and i will continue to read more from this author and series.

Mallory is a singer in a band and Kellan needs a band for their new biker bar.
Sparks fly between them.
But Mallory has her own problems and somebody is targeting the club.

So enough action in this book, also the hot and steamy action between them.
Great mc read about a biker and his strong woman

Kellan is a good story with strong characters. Storyline flowed from beginning to end and if you have been reading this series from the beginning you know about Sly and Dex. They make an appearance in Kellan and of course Jase makes a few appearances. Happy Reading!!

KELLAN by Jayne Blue

Kellan is ex military and new VP of the Wolf Den MC Club. Whilst out scouting for new talent for their bar, which takes him into a place called the Sand Bar. Kellan thinks it's a lost cause till the music starts to play and he lays eyes on the woman with the hot voice and a body to match, his completely mesmerised. His blown away by her, he can't help himself. Not only does he want her for his bar but he just plain wants her. But Mallory is not so easy to convince, with a troubled home life and bad past experiences it's not going to be an easy ride.

Mallory is lead singer of 'Mallory and the Malcontents'. When she performs on stage she becomes someone else. Mallory knows how people perceive her but thats not who she really is, she hides herself from everyone. Until one day while performing she sees him across the room, watching her every move. His sexy, confident and his bad news. But his offer for a job is too good to give up, especially with a father whose an alcoholic and a little brother to look after. But she soon realises that she can't shake him, his not like the others. His persistent, his a fighter and his not going anywhere. The harder she tries to push him away, the more he pushes back.

Mallory has major trust issues, but when Kellan walks into her life he promises her things that she finds hard to accept. When the Wolf Den's employees start been attacked and injured, Mallory battles to make the right decision about their relationship. He might be a dangerous badboy but when his lips brush hers and his fingers trail along her hips, she just can’t seem to say no but can she take a chance on a lifetime.

Kellan is the 4th book in the Wolves MC series but it's the first book that I've read. I had no problem finding my way way round this story, it was fairly easy to keep track and follow. I absolutely loved this book. There are certain things I look for when reading this kind of series and it ticked all my boxes. The storyline was interesting and very entertaining. The characters were strong, likable and the chemistry between them was explosive. Why wouldn't it be with characters like Kellan and Mallory. I mean Kellan.....Mmmm a strong, confident tattooed, bad boy with a smirk and a female lead vocalist who is hot, hot, hot....I mean what's not too love. I like this authors style of writing, it's descriptive, detailed, easy to read and flows smoothly. A awesome read for me!

Review for Kellan (Great Wolves Motorcycle Club Book 4) by Jayne Blue

Jayne Blue - I was incredibly honored and thrilled to receive a very early copy of her new book Kellan from Great Wolves M.C Series
This is your typical great read by Jayne Blue. Suspenseful, sexy, hot, spicy and fun all between the pages of a book that I could not put down. There are lots of twists and turns in this story, but it is definitely one you don't want to miss.

I've waiting for Kellan's story patiently since he was introduced in Colt's story.
There was no denying the spark between Kellan & Mallory from being of this book... I did feel it was Lil to fast in the being their chemistry.. but Jayne Blue pan it out evenly

Kellan is veteran, and biker who suffered the lost of a leg in the war. He is a warrior. He loved his club. He loved this town, might even be in love with Mallory
Kellan held the financial future of every member of this club by the ball sack. Kellan didn’t take that responsibility lightly. Kellan was in charge of the bar ( Wolf Den) Kellan was scouting for a house band, when he came a cross Mallory.. When she stepped on to the stage & began singing Kellan couldn't look away

Mallory dysfunctional home life , is full of drama she not sure that she wants to share it with Kellan. Cuz all the men in her past have left her high & dry.. a dad who was always drinking & a brother she basically raised herself . Being in her band and playing the gigs to pay the bills
Another MC club is making trouble for anyone connected to his club, all the girls that work at the Wolf Den are being scared away
1- Dex- Published: June 28th 2015
2- Sly - Published: July 31st 2015
3- Colt - Published: September 20, 2015
4- Kellan- Published November 27th 2015
5- Sawyer
6-Brax
You'll always find a mix of Steamy sex screen, suspense & drama- And of course our favorite Alpha Males
The is one amazing Series

Good But Not Great

This is the fourth book in the Great Wolf series and while it's good, it's not as good as the three books that came before it. This book focuses on Kellan, a member of the GWMC in Ohio. There is a threat to the club from the Devil's Hawk, a rival MC and the Russian mob, (this part seemed implausible to me), who want to destroy everything the club worked so hard for so that it could go legit.

Part of going legit is running a bar, and that's how Kellan meets our heroine, Mallory. He is scouting for a band to play at the bar when he sees Mallory and her band playing in another town. They are immediately attracted to each other, although they both know that hooking up would be a bad idea for both of them. Mallory and the band get the job but she has her own baggage to deal with. Mallory has an alcoholic father and 12 year old brother that she has to take care of, so she no longer wants to take a chance on love. Kellan is a Gulf War vet who lost part of his leg in the war.

So, this book had the makings of a fantastic story because the plot, while not unique, was still a good combo of love story, hero/heroine angst, and action/mystery. I'm not sure what happened, but this book was sluggish compared to the other books that came before it. I found myself getting a little bored and at times the book seemed to be unnecessarily repetitive. Mallory and Kellan had chemistry, but it wasn't as intense and smoldering like the attraction between the couples in the former books. The book also ends very abruptly, it's not a cliffhanger but you still feel like a lot of loose ends are left untied.

So, this book isn't bad, it's an entertaining read but I was disappointed bc it doesn't quite measure up to the bar of first three books, which is admittedly hard to reach. Will continue to read the series because in general, it's very good.

Kellan goes to The Sand Bar searching for talent for The Wolf Den Club. Mallory the lead singer of the Malcontents has a voice that melts the heart. Mallory has a lot on her plate taking care of her brother and keeping her dad out of trouble, but when she meets Kellan she is catapulted into a world of danger that sets her cautious world on fire.

Kellan: MC Biker Romance (Great Wolves Motorcycle Club Book 4) by Jayne Blue is book 4 but can be read as a standalone which is the first in the series that this reader is reading. Kellan is out scouting talent for the bar the club is opening when he meets Mallory and the band she plays with. Mallory sparks something in Kellan that he has not ever felt before any other woman. Being a wounded soldier from an explosion which has left him with half a leg he tends to not get emotionally involved with his woman but their just is something special about Mallory. Mallory not only has a mesmerizing personality but when she opens her mouth and sings her voice puts all the men under her spell. Unfortunately for her her home life is totally messed up. She has a father who drinks way too much and has demons from being a Vietnam Vet and a little brother who she has to make sure is not totally screwed up by their father. She tries to balance all of this plus her feelings for Kellan. She is worried about her home life and doesn’t want to get hurt by Kellan because of her dad. I really good tale of 2 people trying to find peace in a messed up world. I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the previous book in the series. I was given a copy of this book for an honest review. I give this story 4.5 stars.

So excited to have read an advanced copy of this book!

Kellan is the 4th book in the Great Wolves MC series and does not disappoint. As the new VP to the Lincolnshire chapter, he is on a scouting mission to find some grade A talent for the newest Wolf Den bar. Since he hadn't had much luck in previous attempts, he wasn't expecting a lot when he was at a place called the Sand Bar. Music starts and he is instantly captivated by the hot voice that comes in an even hotter, blonde package. Lead singer Mallory instantly has Kellan sitting back down to listen to her band's whole set. Not only does he want her for his bar, he just flat out wants her.

While Mallory tries to hide who she really is in order to protect what little family she has left, Kellan is open about who he is, what he lost while fighting in Afghanistan, and what he is willing to do to protect those that are important to him.

I loved getting to read more about Kellan since we got a taste of him in the previous book, Colt. You see how his handsome smirk lights up the bar for the customers, and how Mallory lights up the stage with her hot look and rocker voice. The chemistry between these two is instant and intense--the more Mallory pushes, the harder Kellan will fight for what he wants. Another great read from Jayne!!

Can you say hot and bothered with a bit of craziness? That would almost sum up this book, except it is so much more. Singer in her own band, Mallory's life is full of all kinds of drama. Her father suffers from PTSD and alcoholism, violent more often than not. When she's not working, she's trying to keep him in line and out of trouble, as well as raise her 12 year old brother, since her mother passed shortly after his birth. She wishes for the day she can just let go and feel, be herself, without all of the added stress in her life. At 25, she feels like she's 50. Kellan is second in command at the MC, and they are desperately trying to bring the club back to legit status. He is the brainchild behind the new bar, the Wolf's Den. While scouting for talent to hire as their "house band", he chances upon Mallory and her band. Instant heat burns between these two. With each trying to fight off their own demons, will they combust?
This book is packed full of action, a bit of violence, some extremely heated moments, lots of different kinds of loves and patience. Well written with characters that will have you drooling, you won't want to miss this one. Beware...you won't want to put it down once you start. This is a standalone, so you don't have to worry about cliffhangers.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

I love MC books, the bad boys, the club culture, the women involved who make those bad boys stick to one woman only. This was no different. Kellan is VP of the Great Wolves MC. He's cmae back from the military due to injuries. He's been sent out searching for talent by his Prez, who's trying to get the club going legit. So when he spots Mallory on stage with her band, he knows two things. One is that she is too good to be playing where she is and too good for their club as well, secondly he wants her and he will have her.

Mallory's life has been rough, she's trying to get her dad who's been killing himself slowly with drink help and trying to protect her younger brother from his outbursts, so she's not in the right headspace for a relationship. She knows that getting involved with Kellan would be a mistake, but body and head are not talking and she does anyway.

These two together, the chemistry was good, it played out well among the club, the family and friends that Mallory had looking out for her. Obviously things in the club isn't so smooth and there is trouble brewing for the Wolves with their rivals trying to close them down. This played out among the two characters relationship and amped up the scene. I Liked this and it creates the scene for the next books in the series.

Kellan Carter knows what it means to lose yet he's still standing along with his best friend Colt Reddick. Both men know a thing or two about radical change which is what happened a year ago when Colt came back home. Together they've cleaned house and trying to build a better life for all of them that means going legit. Colt's baby is MMA fighter gym. Kellan's baby is The Wolf Den. Kellan is looking for an opening act for The Wolf Den which led him to The Sandbar. Mallory Rhodes only wanted to sing to escape life at home. Mallory never expected to meet Kellan and how he made her feel. Kellan can't seem to keep his hands off Mallory no matter how he tries. Mallory's home life isn't storybook perfect but it's all she has. Meanwhile someone is trying to ruin what The Great Wolves are trying to build for themselves. Will Mallory admit her attraction? Will Kellan make The Wolf Den a success? Who wants The Great Wolves stopped? Your answers await you in Kellan.

I'm really enjoying this series. The story and characters are solid, compelling, raw, gritty, and real. I do believe Kellan is my favorite Great Wolf of the series. Please don't get me wrong the other Great Wolves are great characters. There's just something about Kellan that I can't quite put my finger on.

This is my favorite couple of the Great Wolf MC books yet! The story drew me in and there was no letting go. I couldn’t put it down! I love that the characters from other books make appearances, it’s like checking in with old friends.
SPOLIER ALERT!
The part the completely blew my mind was the first time that Mallory notices Kellan’s prosthetic. I have to wonder how she would have reacted had she known sooner, but as it was she didn’t see it until after she was head over heels for him (even if she didn’t know it yet!). The moment when she thinks to herself that he is more whole than people she knows who ARE whole was heart wrenching. It tells you a lot about the life she has been forced to lead along with the kind of man Kellan is. The fact that he could stand so still and say nothing, allowing her to take her time and make up her mind, instead of him attempting to explain things shows me how accepting of himself he really is and this is amazing.
I love that Mallory finally starts to see herself as a person who matter and not as someone who is responsible for everyone else.
This series just keeps getting better!

Kellan fought in war and lost his leg but he never lost hope. Joining the biker club gave him something to strive for in making it go clean with the MC's president. Now that the club is finally clean a rival club has decided to jump in and cause problems.
Malory has had a rough life. Losing her mom when she was too young, having an ex Vietnam war vet for a father who drinks himself into rage among other things and a little brother who is growing up too fast her life hasn't been easy. Playing the bars with her band as the lead singer every man wants her but she can't let them get close enough to see the real her. It's all a false front. But Kellan saw her to the core.

The story was great and the characters are both strong and stubborn. I love a woman who is willing to step up even when she could find a life with less struggle. And Kellan being ex military has lost a lot and yet he still is positive.

I liked the story but I didn't love it and I honestly can't say why. No have no clue. It was good but it wasn't a 5 star.
